So I went in for a new head unit, backup camera and some speakers... dealing with Tony and every single member of his team was seamless and 5 star quality. He installed an extra camera (came with the stereo), used dynamat with the speaker install and put in a USB on the dash without charging me anything; These were items not even discussed when he quoted me. The install was clean and I'm very satisfied with the price and quality of the work. I recommend highly. UPDATED REVIEW NOV 16th,2017 Had a problem with a speaker...possibly blown.. Make sure they write EVERYTHING down. If not they'll rip you off the same way they did to me. Went from $$260 total to being charged $430 !! Horrible service, the guy walked away from me when I told him to remove a kicker guard they were trying to sell me for $60 straight from kicker sells for $25 and he had allegedly had that included in the original $230 total. went in for speakers because mine had blown. tony sold me a 2k sound system even though i had mentioned to him that i wouldn't be keeping the (old) car; he said he would install it into the new one free of charge. when i came back with my new car he tried to say his name was not tony... and then did not keep his word about reinstalling the system. he also was unclear about the no interest promotion for the first year and my monthly payments, so now i've been paying off this system for two years (partially my fault but he knew i didn't need all that regardless) when i didn't even use it that long lol all i needed was new speakers. 0 stars for tony. read more

I had accidentally messed up the settings on my pioneer radio so I had to reset it.I didn't know how to get the settings back to where it was supposed to be so I made contact with someone online who told me to come in.When I got there I totally expected to have to pay something for the service.But Tony helped me with no problem.He fixed the settings and my music sounds better than it did before...all in less than 10 minutes!Plus he did it for free!I will definitely be back and will refer friends and family for sure! So I took my car here and I thought everything was good until I smelled some smelly smell that smells smelly. I look back and my entire trunk was in flames ! After my car was nothing but rims. UGH..... But Tony went above and beyond to see what could possibly work. Although it was not in my budget he did recommend 2 different customized stereos. I have to say, read every review here. Only time I decided to ha e a shop do work I would usually do. End up taking it here for a pair of tv's an amp and a sub. Well end sup they broke one of the post on my headrest didn't tell me about it til I had to replace a monitor a few months afterwards, the first sub I was given blew a coil after the first day. They have crappy workmanship and their prices are ridiculous, and the fact I was quoted a wait time of 2 hours I was there nearly 6 waiting. Horrible service!! I went in to purchase and install a remote starter. I was told the installation would take 2 hrs...it's been over 4 hrs and I'm still waiting. When ever I asked for how much longer it would take, they kept telling me the car should the ready within 10 min. The last person I asked was Tony, he said he was going to the back and check, it's now been 20 minutes and he hasn't come back yet. After waiting in their shop for over 4 hrs, I noticed the employees including Tony tell customers their cars should be ready by a certain time and THEY NEVER ARE!!! I would give this place zero stars if I could. I got a car alarm installed from these guys. A month later, the alarm decides to stop working. I brought it back Into the shop and they said they would not fix the problem. They said it was the manufacturer's defective product and not their problem. They refused to help me out. Got a radio/touch screen Bluetooth from Best Buy. I just happened to look up stereo shops near me & Advanced stereo showed up. Take it in, everything seems to be fine and working but then 6 months down the line.... my transmission won't shift gears. Not thinking it would have anything to do with the radio since they're not connected in any way (or so I thought) Come to find out, they were getting power for the radio via the same fuse the transmission does meaning that the one fuse was having to give power to the radio and transmission which was putting a strain on it and any normal stereo shop would get power from the cigarette lighter fuse lr similar. So I had my dad (a mechanic) hook the radio up to the cigarette lighter fuse which fixed the problem with my transmission not shifting gears. So honestly I would never come back to this shop, EVER. P.S - don't need any comments from the managers/owners or whatever I've had enough problems with you guys already. It's done and over with. read more

Went down to get my car set up with a little extra sound, was helped by Damien, whom I would absolutely recommend. The guy knew what he was talking about, was extremely helpful and hooked the system in my car up PERFECTLY, not to mention him coming in super clutch, this was a Christmas gift from my mom and if she had it her way I would've ended up with something no where near what I was trying to put in there, Damien knew exactly what he was doing and within 15 minutes had convinced my mom that everything I was trying to do was ABSOLUTELY necessary. Dropped the car off around 12:30-1ish and everything was ready to go by 6:45 and the first time I heard my new system I was absolutely satisfied with the outcome and have been every day since then, looking forward to when I go back and shop for a few extra things once the system is paid off and we have more of the credit line available. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend heading down there and checking out all your options available for making your car a little more comfy! read more

The work these guys do is excellent, but sometimes it takes a little bit of tone to complete. Make sure you have a day off to go down there with what you have in mind that you want done that day or another when you can be there for the several hour long wait. Make sure you hit up Kevin, he's super chill, and is very clear about pricing and the information- he's not steered me wrong, and this is my 2nd time at their shop. All the reviews about this place being full of people who hustle, etc, etc, have some truth to them; they do try to upsell you at any given turn. My girlfriend was on the market looking for a car stereo and sound system, we saw them on yelp and saw that they had financing options. Being a college student it's difficult to pay up front for these kinds of things knowing that they could be expensive. I applied for the financing options and got approved and immediately got a call from one of the workers Luis. He was super friendly over the phone and gave me a lot of helpful information. Shortly after this I went into the shop to get some more information in person and check out some radios. Tony the business owner greeted both of us very kindly and immediately started helping her and her search. A little over a year ago I had bought two touchscreen radios with back up cameras everything went well with the installation hours taken to install and customer service well today my back up camera on my 2008 Nissan Sentra decided to take a turn and I took it in not knowing what the cost would be to repair or if even it was repairable but the person who I spoke to yesterday don't know the name told me that they were a little tight on schedule due to shortage of Essential workers he let me know I could take it in today Sunday, December 6 at 9am to see what could be done and if it's fixable. The guy whom I spoke to yesterday called me to let me know the car has been worked on and ready to leave the shop by 11am.The owner was very nice and kind, let me know that the service was just on its last few days of warranty and there was no charge at this time. I've been coming to this location for years and have purchased a variety of products. I've purchased technologically advanced stereos, speakers, subs, amps, wiring etc... I recently purchased a custom made sub box to create more trunk space for my beach days and costco trips. I have rarely brought speakers back within warranty. If I do I know I am well taken care of. None of my personal belongings have gone missing which is something I am leery of whenever my vehicle with personal belongings is out of sight for a long period of time. I am satisfied with the customer service and welcoming environment. I have been to a few other stereo places due to my location at the time but this is my home stereo shop. I got my windows tinted here recently mainly to protect and preserve the inside. It feels like home since I've been going there so long. I'm planning on getting rims next and I already know I'll be getting expert advice on picking some good shoes. I was unhappy with the installation and and the quality of sound and he offered to do everything he could to make it sound right. He was gracious and non condescending and I really appreciate that. If you are looking for a new system for you car in Riverside, this location will honestly give you what you want with what you can afford. But most of all they will follow through if you are unhappy with the sound. The 3 month financial plan is a little tricky, you just need to stay on top of the finance company so it charges you on time before it defaults to the interest plan. Ask for Tony. read more
