Do not recommend. The installer broke my key and broke my key hole and they denied it. They said they would look into it but never did. Worst park is they rushed and made my system sound worse! The people who install are not trust worthy and if they take a part they will not repair it, just blame you. Take your money somewhere else! read more

Where to start... the TLDR is I have taken 3 cars to this place and this last time that I took my Honda CRV to get a new system put in they were horrible and I would recommend people to not go here and especially not go through their salesman Chris. I highly recommend VIP Kustomz in Moreno Valley if you are in the area as they fixed all pacific stereos mistakes and provided superior customer service. I have spent over $6,000 dollars at this place over the years and they were good in the past but this last car i took to them in October of 2025 they were horrible. They installed speakers incorrectly, ignored parameters set by the manufacturer, and the customer service that the shop provided (mostly the salesman Chris) was horrendous. They were rude, did not care that I made an appointment and made me leave my car there the whole day and when I brought my car back to them to get it looked at because of how bad the sound quality was they didn't even change any settings but claimed they did. They lied about the tweeter crossovers being set correctly causing the tweeters to be ear piercing, they wired my door speakers incorrectly causing bass to muddy the sound and overall did a terrible job. Don't waste your time coming here. They are a complete rip off and do not care if you leave happy. I don't know what happened to this place but it's awful now. Again I highly recommend VIP Kustomz in Moreno Valley. They fixed every issue, they were on time and my appointment time actually meant something and their customer service was great. I tried to give them another chance but they failed "again" with their workmanship. I'll never refer them and let alone consider them for my vehicle's. Damien was my sales person around Dec 8th and he didn't do the install but I spent about $3k with a nice stereo and remote start alarm which I got installed with electrical tape and no connectors. Thankfully Damien didn't call me back when I wanted to take my Can Am for major upgrades because I would have had the same problem as with my truck. I found out how they installed my equipment when I was adding fog lights to my truck so I would have never known I paid top dollar for equipment and cheap labor install or no experience labor. Look at the way the cut my wires and wire tape them with no connectors. You can buy Connectors for pennies and they can't even supply them, what a joke. Thankfully I had it redone by the shop that did my Can Am. Thanks for not calling me back for the Can Am work. read more

These guys are awesome. Came in wanting to put a sub in my trunk, they quoted me a couple different builds, we settled on a single 12. They finished it and it sounded great but i forgot to specify i wanted a ported box so i explained that to Gus. He switched it for me no problem, no extra charge. Then less than 24 hours later i blew the sub and it stopped playing. I was stressing thinking ima have to spend even more money to get a new 12. Took it to the shop, explained what happened and he told me he would take a look at it. 20 minutes later he comes back and explains to me that i blew the sub but that they replaced it with a better JL Audio 12" for completely free. The customer service here is outstanding, after getting screwed over at another place i deeply appreciate the hospitality and quality of the wiring, they used the correct wires, and put a fuse on the battery (youd assume this is the bare minimum but the other shop i went to didnt even do that!) they also quoted me a good price on my front tints, although they only have 5% and 20%. I brought a brand new Can-Am and took it to this location to have light sounds chase lights whip lights installed. They gave me a timeframe and then they failed to meet it and then when I was called to come pick it up I got there and it still wasn't ready and immediately I started finding items that were left loose and things that were done wrong. I bring it into their attention and left it for them to fix again to correct the problems only to pick it up and same problems again I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I should have written this a long time ago but better late than never I guess. So I have come here before. I've brought 3-4 cars over the last 15 or more years. I have had good experiences in the past so I kept coming back. Now I live over an hour away but I am a loyal customer. So I brought my brand new Subaru to these guys some time ago maybe a year now? I am just now getting around to a review of the experience. It took me a while to understand how bad the installation was and became unhappy about it. Overall I liked the sales guy he was cool and quoted some decent pricing. They had everything in stock and were able to tend to me immediately. I left my car with them to install an amp and 2 subs. After a few hours, I got the call my car was finished. It was dark so I couldn't really see how well things looked but it sounded great. That was really the end of the good part. Over the next several weeks I noticed some things I didn't care for lots of exposed wires, broken clips, torn trunk mat, and areas where the trunk mat is no longer tucked in nicely. I also have a panel that seems misaligned and won't go back into place. It took me a while to notice it all because honestly I wasn't expecting any problems or looking for anything. Little by little I started to notice it more and more. Now lately my amp is dangling because the screws mounting my amp came loose. I also noticed that he drilled several holes before finding the proper place to mount the amp on the rear of my seat. Needless to say, I am mortified by the shape of my car. I brought them a pristine car after all. I didn't complain to them or give them the chance to fix it. I was afraid to let them touch it again. I decided to just not go back. The condition of the car kept eating at me so I decided I would make sure others had a chance to see my experience. I will never be back. Everybody seems to be kind of pretentious know it all, to be a salesman to you, I didn't like the vibe I was getting from salesman and also most of the time they were trying to sell me something that was very good or Something that I didn't need. I was shopping around just to get an auxiliary cord put into my stereo for car stereo, and all other car stereo places were trying to sell me an actual stereo. I prepaid for an installation of a head unit and was told to come on a specific day, but was not given an appointment time. I showed up around noon to find out that I was now in line for the install and was told that had come at 9am when they opened, I wouldn't have had to wait. This would have been great information to share when the appointment was scheduled, as I live about 30 miles from the shop and I was only choosing this shop as it was recommended by a friend. The shop told me they would try to get the install done before the end of the day, which they did, however, upon arrival I was informed that they ordered the wrong part for the install and I would need to return "any other day" to get the correct part installed. It was stated that the part would only take about 20 minutes to install and that I could come any time, and would not even need to drop the car off. I finally made time in my schedule to return to the shop, called ahead and returned on the day I was instructed, only to be greeted with needing to wait yet again, and the same message of "you should have been here at 9am". That's definitely not the same as "show up at any time and we'll throw it right in for you". I decided to purchase the part else where and have another shop install it. It turns out that not only did they order the wrong part, but they just simply did not bother to plug in the dimmer cable for the auto dimmer during the original installation. 20mins at the new shop near my house and everything is installed and working as it should have from Pacific Stereo. The new shop even double checked the part compatibility BEFORE taking my payment. The experience at Pacific Stereo was bad enough that I chose to pay another shop to finish the job I had already paid for there, just to save myself the headache. So after purchasing my new 2024 ford f250 back in January I decided to put some good tunes in it. Went to pacific stereo and Tyler recommended a good system. I did not shop around so not sure if the price was high or low. But I thought it was a good price. We set the date up and was on my way a week later with clear and loud music. After having some issues with the speakers several times and going back and forth Tyler was able to find the problem and fix it. Good service and happy with my music now. AMAZING. Although it wasn't on the first visit. I got a new to me Jeep and called ahead of time to see if they were able to install a new head unit with Apple CarPlay and keep my factory Alpine 9 speaker system with sub and amp. I also wanted to retain steering wheel controls. They said yeah bring it in at 9am the following day and they can get it installed. Once it was done I tested it with the salesman Tyler and all seemed good. However after I left I noticed that whenever I tried to use Siri or make a phone call there was no audio coming through the speakers. So that evening I texted Tyler and he was immediately replying trying to help me. I made him aware that I had also installed a system in my old Jeep and was aware of certain things. I just didn't want to mess with all the troubles again. Tyler said to bring it back in and they will fix it. I realized that what they installed with a cheaper interface module and was told that the Maestro versions were on back order and they didn't have any but I had put a Maestro one in my other Jeep. I asked Tyler if they could swap them so my new Jeep I was keeping would have the better modules and he said yes. After they were done (about 4 hours) everything in both Jeeps worked perfectly. He mentioned he had transferred from another store recently so to just forgive him for not knowing the entire layout of store. He mentioned he and the team at pacific have many years in the industry so I was put at ease not just cause of this. I had my eyes set on pioneer radio but Tyler was able to give me pros and cons of each unit by each manufacturer. That to me is what made me write this review. I had all speakers done and an under seat amp/sub installed from a different dealer. Speakers kept unplugging and so was the amp (normal driving but concerned because I offroad alot). Wasnt 100% satisfied. I dropped off a friend at this shop on a SUNDAY. I was looking around and they had a ton to choose from. I asked a question to one of the guys and he immediately helped me. Very tentative even though I had no plans to buy. But with his customer service , price and able to install on my way ONLY DAY OFF, which are Sundays. I was sold. I dropped off the truck and long story short, I am WAY more happier with the two JL Audio 10's. They hooked it up! I've been on 2 offroad trips and its been a couple of weeks and nothing seems to be moving, jiggling and seems to be really secure! I'll be taking my daily driver to get some stuff done here.
