The prices may be a bit more, but I live by ," You get what you pay for". The guys who work here or manage the place are very kind and nice. Respectful men. The owner is extremely kind. You can't help but feel good doing business with good people like these people. This place is located near the DMV, library, good will, restaurant, and post office. It's also closer to a bunch of small businesses. There's a small waiting room here, air conditioned. 3 seats, free drinks, WiFi, phone charging station, and restroom available. Either find a ride home or plan to stay here about 1-2 hours. I'd bring all my family cars here if I could. They help you make a decision with which tint to choose, if you need it. They don't make you feel rushed. Cool people.

I chose Mikes because they had the most thorough response and seemed really professional. However, three visits later, I have had the worst experience with the Riverside location. I chose the top of the line ceramic tint and paid $1,500. It was a lot but I wanted the best since I knew I would not buy another car in 10 or more years. The initial install was pleasant enough. I asked questions regarding a couple of bubbles I saw before I left and was assured by Erick that they would disappear after the moisture evaporated. Some did, lots did not. (See initial install photos) I went back to have the back and rear windows redone. The bubbles were worse on the back and on one of the triangle windows. (See 1st reinstall showing dust particles and bad cuts pics) Also, the clarity in the rear window was poor. (See light glares in rear window pic) I was told that it could be due to an astigmatism or the defroster lines. What?! Thinking that the 3rd time would be the charm I went back again for another fix. This time it seems they just made a complete mess of the backseat, the floor mats and carpet top behind the seats. This is a new car. It was pristine when I gave it to them. (See pics of goo and backseat mess). Also, there are still lots of dust bubbles along the back window worse than the second install . (see 3rd install pics which was Sat. July 12, 2025). I don't know what to do anymore. I spent so much money and each time I bring my car back I'm told, "this never happened before" only to leave with it looking worse! I'm beyond frustrated. It's supposed to be a 10 year warranty but I don't have it in me to keep going back wasting my time and energy. They didn't bother to walk the car after each install except the time that I asked and was assured that things would evaporate. I even walked back in after the third install and the front counter was empty. I just left and saw the backseat damage once I got home. I would never recommend this business to anyone. My daughter, my husband and my son were looking to get their cars done. They will be looking elsewhere.

I visited Advance Stereo earlier this year to have a simple car alarm installed. Unfortunately, what started as a straightforward service turned into a frustrating and costly ordeal. While I was initially understanding about the extended time it took to get my car back, I expected the delay to be due to meticulous work. However, the next day, I noticed that the a-pillar in my car kept coming off--something that hadn't been an issue prior to the installation. It was clear that whoever worked on it had been careless. When I brought the issue to their attention, they attempted a quick fix with glue, which was not a satisfactory solution. After speaking with Jason, the manager, he suggested I purchase a replacement part myself, with the promise that they would reimburse me. Finding the part was incredibly challenging and time-consuming. When I finally located and purchased one, they told me it was the wrong part and refused to reimburse me. The situation dragged on for months, beginning in June, with no resolution. They eventually agreed to order the correct part, but it was backordered. Throughout the process, I had to make numerous follow-up calls, as they rarely provided updates. Each call involved long hold times and unhelpful responses, giving me the impression that they didn't care about resolving the issue. As this is my work car, I had to incur additional costs, including toll road fees, to repeatedly bring my car to their store. To make matters worse, the broken part they caused left my car exposed and even became a safety hazard when it came off while I was driving. This experience left me feeling that the age of my car may have influenced the quality of service I received. After wasting months of time, effort, and money, the issue remains unresolved. I cannot recommend Advance Stereo to anyone. Their lack of accountability, poor customer service, and disregard for safety make it clear that you should look elsewhere for your car audio and alarm needs. read more

WOW....Best experience ever!!!My husband and I went car stereo shopping this morning and we ended up at Advanced Car Stereo.We walked out of the store with an awesome car stereo and better yet the owner gave us an awesome deal along with helpful tips of how the install our car stereo.Well this story doesn't end here....we got in our truck to head home and our truck would not start.Well the guys at Advanced Car Stereo did everything to help us from loaning us tools, charging our battery, getting under the hood to help my husband, coming out and checking on us during the couple of hours we were there and crawling under the truck to check it out and help diagnosis the problem...they were right it was the starter!They referred us next door to a mechanic shop that repaired our truck for a reasonable price! I'm super late to this but better late than never lol I'm a color blind, former mechanic thats recently changed careers. I was having trouble with modding my old Corollas radio from stock to a fancy touchscreen/bluetooth with backup cam and all that fancy shit.. Let me tell you this from a MANAGERS point of view.. Jose and Tony were so kickass, it was unbelievable. The quality of customer service they performed and how advance the help I received was was far beyond anything I had expected. They went above and beyond to help me and were understanding of my being color blind and not being so familiar with modifying interior. AND? I literally paid more than asked (I tipped the extra) just because I walked in expecting to pay more and was so happy with their price, I WANTED to pay more... HATED IT HATED IT HATED IT, Customer Service was HORRIBLE, Prices were way overpriced. The owner was rude as H E Double L. I took my brand new new Acura in for some subs and their installers SCRATCHED MY FRONT BUMPER and then tried to say it was like that. BS, I took it straight from the dealer to them. IT WAS BRAND NEW! I was so heated, SAVE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT GO HERE! One employee "Kevin aka. JT" talked about his so called CAMEL PENI$ in his pants". It took them 20 minutes to even ask me if I needed Help. This place needs some major overhauling when it comes to their employees. The owner Tony was a real winner too let me tell you, not only did he pull the bait and switch on me and say ...."oh we are sold out of that product thats on SALE" but also helped me for a second then went outside to smoke in the middle of helping me.... The Team was able to install a Compustar Alarm system for $400 to a 2010 Toyota. They were able to resolve what Toyota Dealership tried to repair for $600. The manager presented clear choices to match the car model, preference and budget. The clean service car dropped me off my work and pick me up when the system was installed. After a couple days, the car won't start and they meticulously figured out other causes. They recommended a mechanical check elsewhere and return it. They reinstalled the alarm system successfully. The staff are respectfully explains and do their best to serve. It is great to find dedicated team who finds pleasure in delivering excellent customer service. read more

So I made another visit to Advanced Car Stereo. I couldn't resist, I wanted to make a final upgrade to my car, and let me tell you about the importance of finding the best fit in audio precision. I got a Kenwood and let me loudly express, "hell yeah!" What a phenomenal difference on sound quality. I have to recommend if you want more definition and response and you don't get a Kenwood,?..., get something with 3 or more voltages from the RCA's. The difference in output from anything less than 3volts, wow, I won't go so cheap next time. Tony (the owner) is easily the worst person I know and he is my Uncle. I loaned him 19k during the last recession while he was losing his house and still stalking his ex wife everyday and before I was warned not to by at least 3 people. His old Co Owner admitted he was the worst financial mistake of his life because all he knows how to do is take. If he is willing to steal from his own family imagine how thoughtlessly he will steal from you. The only deal you will get here is a smile while he robs you. My brother and I went there just to pretty much browse around at first. Talked to Mr. Tony and he gave us a good deal. I told him I don't want something super loud we just want something to add a little bass to our stock speakers. So he hooked us up with an amp and a sub that perfectly fit on my CX-3. After everything got done after a couple of hours. But then we encountered a little problem. Mr. Tony helped me out and everything got resolved. I've been going to this place for years to get car audio needs and their prices are always awesome. The last time I went here I got HID lights for my Camry and I installed it myself. About a week later I had an issue with my ballast and when I went back with my issue they took care me and gave me brand-new Ballasts and made sure that my lights were working and that I was happy. I am glad I did not read the reviews before I went here. I researched car stereos for my Jeep Rubicon. Took this info with me as well as competitor pricing. Tony matched everything. When he first said it would take 45 minutes to install, I knew that. Was too fast. his bays were busy. He checked and came back with a 2 hr estimate. I went in this store one evening. The sales guy seemed upfront and was helpful. When I returned the follow day to purchase the alarm they began changing the price and talking to me like I was an idiot. When I mentioned this it got worse. They could not confirm an appointment time like the previous guy explained as procedure. Worst customer service in a long time. Bought a whole new system from Advanced Car Stereo. 13" flip down screen new Pioneer navigation touch screen Rockford fosgate speakers and amp. I like these guys they took care of me. Flip screen wouldn't stay latch. No problem switched it out for a new one head phones covers kept coming off no problem replaced. That's taking care of your customers. He set me up with a Pioneer 7201nex Head Unit, as well as new speakers front and rear, a backup camera and tinted windows at a decent price. I got a custom stereo installed in my car, and truthfully there were some issues and misunderstandings with the installation. It took much longer than I expected to get everything the way I wanted, but in the end they didn't even charge me for the extra parts and labor! I was there at the agreed on time and waited for an hour and a half before it became obvious he wasn't going to show or take my calls. I was missing a cord needed for install and they do carry most anything you need for dash cams or car upgrades. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a dash installed. They do offer a warranty on the work itself. The sitting area is pretty small and there isn't like a tv or anything. If you can leave your car and come back for it I would recommend that if you can. Again call in advance just to get an idea of how long it will be but if you can drop off it's probably easier. It's really a walk in basis by the looks of it. The value is there since it's not something I felt I could do on my own unless I wanted exposed wires. They do sell some too as well but I'm not sure the price on them. So you can bring your own dash cams for install and it's just the labor that's being charged of course. The place is conveniently located and easy to find. Plenty of parking right in front. Would definitely recommend.
