I'm so grateful I have been able to maintain sobriety and accomplish as much as I have in the last four and a half years, that being said though, no matter what I did, having a mouth of black and broken teeth left me feeling incomplete and killed my confidence. On January 27th, 2026, after only a couple of thorough but quick and easy consultations, Dr. Hoyer performed the surgery necessary for me to sign a new lease on a fresh set of chompers. The difference this has made for me in such a short amount of time is unreal. I find myself with happy tears sometimes when I am able to look a stranger in the face and smile and say hello. My favorite thing to do in the morning now is to look in the mirror and smile at myself, nice and big! I haven't felt this confident since I was 18 and I am now 36. Couldn't have asked for a nicer guy, couldn't have found someone that did the work any better. Thank you, Dr. Hoyer, I am forever and ever so grateful.

At my initial consultation , I did decide to have a dental implant placed. Kim in the business office was extremely helpful in examining my insurance and letting me know what the cost would be at the time of the procedure. Today was the date for my procedure. I was greeted promptly and signed necessary forms. Emily and Meredith took me to the procedure room where they hooked me up to various monitors since I was going to have sedation for the extraction. My doctor is Kim Pansegrau, DDS,MD and he provided me with IV sedation. Within seconds he proceeded with the procedure and I have zero recollection of any of the mechanics of the work. And when done, unhooked me from the monitors and put me in a wheelchair and took me to the recovery area, where I spent about fifteen to twenty minutes. Mason checked my vitals and when I was ready to go , explained the medications I needed to take and the precautions I needed to use. When ready he put me in a wheelchair and rolled me outside to the car where my wife was waiting to take me home. The whole experience was very efficient and in my mind flawless. I had zero discomfort and quickly resumed ability to walk and eat since the anesthesia was not so overwhelming. I am so thankful to the doctor and his very able assistants. Not only is this doctor highly recommended but the whole office staff made the experience which I was so nervous about a very benign affair. Kudos to the staff at the Center of Oral and Maxillary Surgery.

My mom's 18th birthday present back in the day was a full set of upper dentures. I have an older sibling who has dentures. Ugh. So I sucked it up and headed here upon the recommendation of my dentist to increase the upkeep on my still kinda pearly Irish chompers. Dr. Joe is a really nice guy. I did some research on him and found out he went to Harvard, which, if you mention it, he waves away as though it's nothing. He and his staff were very careful to explain everything that was going on, and what I needed to have done, while tedious, was not bad at all to deal with. They are great about keeping on you about checking in with how you are doing as you heal up. Other than it seems like most patients I've seen are at least 20 years older than me, and are being picked up after their appointments by their children while I can still drive, I am adjusting to the fact that there is no shame to getting some additional dental help. It's even kind of cute seeing all these who are around the age my parents would be if they were still around.

This place was bad news from the get go. So we have a date set to have the surgery done. We did arrive late because we had the wrong address. However, when we get there, they ask if he's eaten anything. He says yes. Of course he wasn't supposed to eat anything. When they called to remind him of his appointment date they NEVER told him not to eat anything. So, we had to re-schedule the appointment date. We originally scheduled it for January 25, 2013, but they called us back telling us they had a Saturday appointment for the 26th available. We decided to take it since we didn't have to take time off from work. Then the night of the 18th, they call and remind him of his appointment on the 19th and to make sure he hasn't eaten anything. Of course my fiance tells them that his appointment was made for the 26th not the 19th and this place refuses to admit that they made a mistake when making the appointment. Had they told him that it was the 19th he would have not taken it because we had a funeral to go to that day! Him and I even had a discussion while on the phone with the place asking me if the 26th was okay! There were two witnesses to verify that they DID tell us the 26th not the 19th and they refuse to admit that they are wrong and then proceed to tell my fiance that they can't help him any longer that he has to find another place! How this place is in business is beyond me! They have NO customer service what so ever! They don't tell him that he isn't supposed to eat the night before (and refuse to admit that they forgot to tell him that too!!) and we have to reschedule and then they give us the wrong date! Then have the nerve to say it's our fault and they can't help us! Please do NOT go this place!!! Thank god we didn't. They might have done some damage and then proceeded to say it wasn't their fault!
