I found The Lash Doctor on Google maps. Made an appointment on their site which was super easy and convenient. I am visiting from CA and was due for a classic lash fill. The Lash Doctor accommodated my lash fill even though I didn't get my original set here. Valeria was great! She was gentle and meticulous. I love my refreshed lashes! (FYI - I have "classic" lashes - they feel comfortable and light). The ladies at The Lash Doctor were all super kind, friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for your lash needs.

Went and had my lashes done after I had been going there for a while and was a reliable customer and had had multiple different styles tried unfortunately my lashes are very fine and they can't hold the hybrid. Had a wet set done. Everything was great. Had someone new do them, my lashes fell out in 24 hours and I was basically told it was my fault. They would not do anything about it would not return my phone calls. Terrible customer service. read more

Based on other reviews, I am sure this place is lovely in quality of lashes and other services. However, I had a booking experience that just left a bad taste in my mouth. Originally, when I called to ask for day of availability I was told that there would be a 4:30 availability and that the artist doing the set would be charging $130. I mentioned I was not sure if that would work with my schedule but would give them a call in case anything changed. Around 4:20pm, I decided to give them a call to say I would be able to make it if is still available. I clearly asked if the spot was still open even though I would be arriving at 4:40pm. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the cost would be $200 because the lash artist available was the owner and most experienced. I want to be clear that I do not have a problem paying more for top quality. I am sure the owner's service is worth the additional price. However, I do have a problem with being told about this once I arrived to the location and not 10 minutes before when I called. I had clearly confirmed that the service I was informed about would be available and then was not going to spend additional $$ upon arrival unexpectedly. I am sure this is a simple mistake from the front desk receptionist but more coordination needs to happen to ensure this doesn't happen. If the extra cost would have been informed to me before arriving, I could have made my decision before wasting my time. read more

The good: Nice place, clean, and friendly staff. The bad: I got hybrid lashes, that ended up being really heavy and chunky looking. I've had hybrid lashes done in the past and they did not look like previous hybrids I've had. They also fell out as soon as I got in my car. About 10-15 of them. Sort of looked like the regular glue on ones from a Walgreens. I spent 200$ and won't be returning. Overall disappointed with the result. read more

I recently came in asking if I needed to get my eyebrows done and instead they suggested I just do a "maintenance" service to hold me until my next full eyebrow wax. They use a calming oil afterwards to help with the redness which I greatly appreciate. Most importantly is the waxing doesn't hurt; rather it's like a quick flinch. If you have any allergies you should get your nostrils done! It truly makes a difference and you won't have to worry about them going all the way up your nose. It's just around the nostril flares. Sugar wax is less harsh than regular wax bc the hair is pulled in the same direction. I met and talked with Mandy then I was taken to a private room. I took off my bottoms only and received a towel wrap that had snaps to fit on my waist. I laid on the table and let the lady know I was ready through the closed door. She came in and got to work. I would say it's uncomfortable but not unbearable. Mandy is considerate and would offer breaks but I just went the whole time nonstop. It's good to have at least a weeks worth of hair but not too much hair or else that's more pulling. Mandy went to work on the front and the BACK. The front was more effort than the back. The back goes really quick and is much easier to handle. A little weird feeling but manageable. I was there for about 30 minutes and it really all goes quickly. Mandy will talk to you throughout to make it less awkward and as pleasurable as possible. Overall it was not scary or way painful. I will be back for another. I know over time the hair will get thinner and waxing will be easier.

With busy schedules, I found a day that worked for everyone and booked my appointment. I arrived about an hour early so I could enjoy the hot tub before my massage. I was also planning to take advantage of the spa amenities afterward and grab lunch at one of the restaurants. About 10 minutes before my appointment, I put on my robe and headed to the waiting area. As my appointment time came and went, I watched every other guest get called back for their massages while I continued to wait. After another 10 minutes had passed, I finally went to the front desk to ask what was going on. The manager came out and informed me that there had been a miscommunication and my massage therapist was unable to make it to work that day. Unfortunately, there were no other therapists available and no alternative appointment times. I was simply told they were sorry and that I would need to reschedule. At that point, I broke down in tears. This wasn't just a massage, it was my birthday gift and my first opportunity to step away from the chaos and demands of postpartum life. Having that experience taken away without any notice was incredibly disappointing. To their credit, they did offer me a complimentary massage whenever I am able to rebook, which I appreciated and accepted. However, this was a very disappointing first impression. A simple phone call before I arrived could have saved me the time, effort, childcare arrangements, and emotional letdown.

I was incredibly thrilled to see the results of both Bianca and Linda. I went in to get a lash lift + tint with brow threading and medium tint. These were all firsts for me and they did not disappoint. First, the ambience and vibes are amazingly cute, clean, organized, and on point. The staff all seem happy, jovial, and uber friendly. You're gonna do a lot of smiling there for sure! I went in thinking I might need to get a classic set because I thought my lashes were too short but Bianca did a great assessment and encouraged me that they were long enough to do a lift with. The lash lift + tint truly looked amazing and I couldn't believe they were hiding like that. Next, I went to Linda where I got my brows threaded and then lightly tinted. She gave me a mirror and asked how I wanted the shaping to be: straight, curved, rounded, and then showed me where she would thread it. She did the tinting first and then did the threading and in the end it all came out amazing! I will be definitely going back. read more

I have been to numerous lash studios and The Lash Doctor is undeniably the finest studio I have ever been to. Highly recommend this studio to EVERYONE. Not only does their studio radiate peaceful energy but also, their staff displayed professionalism to the highest degree. For someone who gets anxiety going to new studios they offer the most welcoming service beyond compare. Also, a huge fan of the music!!! Valeria, my lash technician, is truly talented and proficient. She has the ability to listen to her customers effectively by presenting astounding results. I have been getting my lashes done by Bianca for the past two months. I have been getting wispy hybrids sets and I've loved them. They are always super full and fluffy. I recently decided I wanted something extra so I asked Bianca if we can add a little bit of pink for the summer! She was excited to try this service out without hesitation. My lashes looked great and she asked me various questions to make sure I got what I wanted in the end. We even went through all the shades of pink so make sure I really loved the color. I've had really good lash retention since starting services with Bianca. I also get a ton of compliments all the time! I recommend Bianca to my friends who are interested in getting lash extensions. Krista is the absolute best lash tech in San Antonio! She takes her time and listens to what I want and isn't pushy. I told her that my eyes are super sensitive to the glue and she makes sure I am taken care of every time!
