It is noticeably asymmetrical, not at all what I asked for, and he was extremely rude when I approached him about it. He claimed it was "still swollen" at first and to wait for swelling to go down for it to look better. Then, after a few months, it still looked the same. I went back and said I was still unhappy that it is asymmetrical and that it doesn't look good, and he gave me an attitude and said "well nobody has a perfect nose!!!" Excuse me? I spent nearly 13k on this nose. IT SHOULD BE PERFECT!!!!!!!! 3 years later it still looks the same by the way. It had nothing to do with "swelling". He offered to revise it to "fix it" but I absolutely did not trust him at all so I did not accept the offer. I'm hoping to save up and afford a revision with someone else in the future. Also, still to this day, 3 years later, my nose feels very sensitive to the touch and as if it hasn't completely healed.... (That's not normal!) im oftentimes worried what the inside of my nose actually looks like and if there's issues internally that I can't even see. My surgery went hoursssss passed what it was supposed to - and they told my mom, who was waiting, that "they couldn't fuse my bones back together" and that there was an issue but claimed everything was fine and good and blah blah blah. I took his word until I began the healing process. I wonder what actually happened while I was under. Why did it take an extra like 2-3 hours? What did you do wrong to me that I don't even know about? Explains why my bones on either side don't match at ALL. I feel bad for leaving a negative review but this is MEDICAL and life ruining and damaging. It took me a year to accept my new nose and negatively impacted my self esteem SO much. I was left disfigured with cobra like indentation under my chin and painful lumps and platysma bands on my neck that needed an URGENT revision surgery that cost me over $12k. He was my doctor back in 2014 when I underwent a breast augmentation and lift. At the time, as a very busy professional, I was curious about his "one-day recovery method." All went well--his method really did work. I had my surgery, and after a long weekend I was back at work with no issues. After Covid, I began experiencing health issues with my breasts, not related to my implants but rather due to an immune disease I developed. Dr. Epstein was there for me every step of the way, even though my complications had nothing to do with my implants. He always gave me an appointment, took my concerns seriously, and ultimately helped connect me to the right specialist who gave me a proper diagnosis. Earlier this year, I decided to have an explant. Dr. Epstein never hesitated or tried to convince me otherwise--he was fully supportive and performed the surgery himself. I trusted no one else. His in-office medical center is top notch, his staff is incredible, and they always made me feel comfortable and cared for. The surgery went perfectly, and thanks to Dr. Epstein, my breasts look phenomenal--as if I never even had an explant. I'm so happy with the results. More recently, I experienced a flare-up of my immune disease and needed a breast abscess drained. Even though Dr. Epstein was away internationally, he never left me without care. He made sure I was referred to the right doctor immediately and personally arranged for me to be seen and treated. He did it all from miles apart. No doctor does that! I went there under a lot of stress, and this didn't help my skin issues - it made them worse. Dr. Penzi listens to you, shows great empathy, and has great ideas for approaching the problem. Haley, the PA, is also great at what she does, is just as easy to talk with, and is equally compassionate and friendly as Dr. Penzi. I briefly met with Dr. Gratch, so I can't say much about him yet. He listened to what I had to say, though we didn't have time to discuss everything thoroughly. He seemed busy, so I look forward to continuing the conversation when we have more time. I have been frequenting Romero clinic for quite some time ...I'd say probably over 10 years... But…read morethings have changed there dramatically ..you can't even get an appointment by phone ...you have to text and they don't answer you back sometimes. You have to text repeatedly ..that right there just makes me nervous! That as well as the fact that Dr. Romero goes away for very long periods like a month at a time to his "farm" in the Philippines... Whatever that means and leaves his nephew who he says he trained personally and who is not a doctor nor a dermatologist nor an aesthetician to do his work. He did some work on my face and I was not at all pleased with the results. When I mentioned it to Dr. Romero he became completely standoffish. I had never made a complaint about anything in the entire time that I've been there and I gently described to him my issue and he told me that it was all in my head that from where he was standing it looked great. Well it did not look great and I'm not going to have somebody tell me that it's all in my head. Several other reviewers here have said the same thing about him for years now. He cannot stand one drop of criticism. If that were my customer I would not treat them the way that he has treated those of us who have brought up a concern about our treatment. Very unprofessional also very un compassionate. I now go to a board certified dermatologist and have never been happier. That is all.
