I get my 3 months supple of Dexcom G7 sensor from ADS for about a year now. I like the convenience of get supplies sent to me. The biggest complaint I have with them is that they send out the next supply of sensor almost on the last day my last sensor runs out. I wish they could send my supply out a few days before my last sensor goes out. They evidently do not take this in consideration which leaves the patient to take glucose readings manually with a strip & finger pricks the exact rea this sensor was developed for. Getting your insulin pump supply order from this company is nearly impossible. First of all whenever you get someone on the phone you have to keep repeating every word you say before they can get it right. Then they always tell you it will take a couple of days to verify your insurance but really it takes more like a month. They never call you back and let you know what's going on and its up to you to repeatably call them only to be told the same lines as before and you never get any closer to actually getting what you need. I am forced to use this company. They have all kinds of requirements and hoops you have to jump through just to get what you need to simply survive. If you can use someone else for your medical supplies do you life a favor and find another way. read more

Every customer service rep says, "I understand. I understand". If they aren't diabetic, they don't understand. Maddening experience trying to get my Dexcom sensors shipped. I was told on Sept. 1 and 2 that shipment would be made that day. Then told that billing had a problem with my insurance, after assuring me my devices were sent. Each time I'd say Just Bill My Credit Card. Each time I'd call I'd be told I would get a call back to confirm the already confirmed order. When I called at 2:30 this afternoon Sept. 3, I was told my order had not shipped yet, still waiting on insurance confirmation. Had they called me back ? Not once. Now Roxie says she'll call with tracking number in the morning, but she's going home now and it's too late for orders to go out today. What's up? ADS closes at 5 pm. read more

And have clicked the link to order supplies on their website. Get a form to complete including an invoice number. I am not looking to pay an invoice I want to order supplies. I am attempting to work with ADS as I have had 2 pharmacies tell me that my medicare requires that I go thru them. This is part of a nightmare where my previous provider kept dropping the ball when my insurance changed to Medicare, so we need to process this quickly as I'm out of my script medicine. I called them on Monday 8/31 to get the process started. They needed me to complete an online form and for my doctor to complete a form and fax the script to them. I also told questioned about sending the order overnight. They said they could do that and the cost would be about $10. Forms were completed and received by ADS by 2pm that day and doctors office got confirmation that they received the FAX. I called them that afternoon and each of the next 4 days asking for order status updates. Every time I was told they never received the info from my doctor. When I told them Monday pm that the FAX was confirmed received, they told me it would take 24 hours to process. Tuesday, I called after 24 hours and they told me it may be "a few days" before it gets processed. I called Wednesday and was told it could take up to 72 hours before they'd take it off the FAX. Wednesday, same answer. I asked for a supervisor and after holding twice was told a supervisor would call me back. Never happened. Thursday, after being told the same again, I told them that there's a disconnect between them and my doctor and asked them to call my doctor and figure it out. They called and asked them to fax it again. Friday, same answer, nothing from doc. (Afterward, I called my doc and asked them for their confirmation. Received by ADS Monday at 2pm and Thursday at 11:16am.) I asked ADS if they can verify that the FAX was received as it was sent the day before. They said they could "email an inquiry to the FAX dept., but they won't get it immediately." I then asked for status updates on my orders. They said they "would put a note in my file". "Don't you have a way to check a box to get me text notifications on my orders???" No, but whenever somebody looks at your account, they'll see the note, so they can respond with a status update. It's currently Friday at 3pm. I've received no notifications from them so far. This company is an absolute cluster in terms of customer service. I'm already researching to find other mail order services that work with Medicare, so I can tell ADS to stick it where the sun don't shine. read more

Representatives are more than happy to go above and beyond for me. Great experience with every interaction. I only get my Dexcom G7 Sensors from here, so I can only speak on this. My experience has been mostly automatic, with the exception of when my doctor sends in a new request for insurance justification and ADS does not identify that the request is new and needs updating. I then would have to call and let the representative to check the referral carefully. After which they would process the request. I had to do this twice when my insurance would not approve and my doctor had to change my regimine. The value is incredible. I remember paying so much more when getting my monthly supply at my local pharmacy. Now that my account is setup and no updates to my insurance is needed, I receive excellent service from ADS and that just makes my life easier. Thank you, ADS! read more

I would give them a MINUS 5 if possible. They single handedly decided my mother should move to a new Dexcom that in incompatible with her Pump & Pen. They never notified us. Then they reconfirmed the information and said they were sending it out and I would receive a confirmation of the new shipping info. That never happened. But now they say they can no longer supply the supplies they are supposed to supply after promising it 2x. Now my mother has resorted to pricking her fingers again and is without diabetes supplies. Their new system which is NOT compatible with my mothers existing and COVERED DME, takes 3 hours to transmit information to her existing equipment. Because yes when your diabetic patient has high or low blood sugar we wait 3 fucking hours to make a decision on how to act. Shame, shame, shame on this disgusting company and industry. Was this company bought out by Edgepark ? I had so many issues with edgepark back in 2019-2020 and I recently received an email that has the logo "EdgePark / ADS". If it is the same company, it'd explain all the issues. I get a text saying ready to ship , nothing gets shipped and I have to CONSTANTLY reach out. Every 3 months I get told exactly the same thing " we're not sure why it hasn't shipped , our apologies , we'll ship it now ". Stop apologizing and just do better. Last time I told myself to just contact prior to be safe. I'd hope I could have a pharmacy I could trust but I have to advocate way too much for myself . I contacted them to inquire about my shipment and never heard back. Finally called my insurance and they were able to take care of the stuff . A script for Dexcom G7 was sent to them 45 days ago to fill a Dexcom G7 15 day by Walmart. Someone from that company call me and got all the info that they needed to fill the order Advanced Diabetes Supply had not called me in over two weeks regarding the order to be filled as they told me that a person from their company would get back to me. I talked to someone there regarding the script and it took them a long time to find it. They told me that my doctor had not verified the script and I went to my doctors office to have them sent the info to ADS. I follow up about a week later with ADS and they said everything is fine and would be sending it out. I called back a week later and they said it was cancelled for some reason and they would call me back that it would be sent out in three business days. I waited four business days and no Dexcom was delivered. I called ADS again and found that my order was cancelled again with no explanation. I have went to CCS to fill the order and told ADS to make sure they do not send me supplies. This is the worst medical supply company that I have ever dealt with. If I could give less than one star I would. My husband is on Medicare, is a LADA diabetic and is prescribed the Dexcom 7 10-day CGM. Walmart is Medicare Preferred Provider, but Walmart farms out the CGM's to ADS. ALL CGM's are shipped from Carlsbad, CA-no local store pick-ups. ADS does not refill the prescription until the DAY it expires therefore a 1-2 business day lag. LADA diabetics--all diabetics--depend on their CGMs to maintain their levels. I refilled his prescription the day we inserted his last sensor so the CGM should have auto shipped on the last day-called to follow up-prescription had not yet been processed. After failure to properly contact my insurance, causing an extreme delay in shipping my products, I was to be sent an emergency sensor. But when I received the box, all that was in, it was the paperwork. So after spending several hours on the phone, trying to get my pump supply order straightened out, they sent me a box with nothing in it. I needed supplies for my insulin pump after I changed Medicare insurance from an Advantage plan to traditional Medicare with a supplemental plan. Instead of telling me exactly what Medicare required for approval they dragged it out piecemeal. So instead of taking a couple of weeks to gather all the documentation and blood test results, it took multiple months. Then their customer service representatives outright lied to me on the phone about my order. They incorrectly tried to place my order as for a new insulin pump plus supplies. I did not need an insulin pump, and Medicare was not going to pay for a new one. I never requested a new pump nor did my endocrinologist. The natural result was that the order was cancelled. A neat trick to screw over a customer (I have worked for Medicare in the past and saw some of my colleagues play such games). I just needed supplies. Then I was hung up on five times in one day, even though I was not rude, I did not use foul language, and I tried to be polite and patient. Then I found out the supplies I needed were actually on backorder. No one called to let me know that. I was transferred to talk to a pharmacist to talk about possible alternatives to the supplies on backorder. After an hour of being on hold, the call was cut off. On the sixth call in one day, I finally reached a representative who was actually interested in helping me and in placing my order for insulin pump supplies. Time will tell if it actually comes about as promised. I cannot recommend doing business with this supplier. Find an alternative before you are forced to endure their incompetence and rudeness. read more

Caution: Refrain from Utilizing This Pharmacy If you have alternative options, I strongly advise against using this pharmacy. I have been dealing with this company since February, when my doctor recommended ordering pump supplies from ADS. ADS is the most unsatisfactory pharmacy I have encountered. They only accept requests via phone and email. They have consistently failed to fulfill their promises. Despite calling almost every other day for the past month, they have repeatedly assured me that the pump supplies would be shipped that day. However, I have yet to receive them. Now they claim they are having an internal issue, they can't seem to resolve. I was assigned a case manager named Gabriella, but I have never spoken with or been able to reach her. I was informed that she would contact me back a month ago, and every time since. I have spoken with Jen, Evelyn, John Marica, and Mareesha. Marcia is the lead, for whatever that means to them, she doesn't seem to know more of have more authority. They seem to prefer to get you off the phone as quick as possible. And they ask the same set of questions each time, which seems like they aren't actually recorded my previous requests and answers. Furthermore, ADS attempted to charge me $120 per Dexcom CGM, despite all other pharmacies charging only ~$10 per unit. I know this is an insurance item but this pricing strategy suggests a lack of concern for their customers and a deliberate attempt to conceal it. I had to push hard to them to cancel this order I didn't approve. They don't want to send the pump supplies, just whatever they can make the most profit from. In light of these issues, I am filing an Independent Medical Review (IMR) with the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC). If you are experiencing similar problems with this pharmacy, I strongly recommend that you consider this option. read more

ADS sends us SMS messages asking us to authorize expenditures for supplies but without telling us which supplies they're going to send us, when they're going to send it, or how much they're going to charge us. This is unacceptable because we need to know what, when, and how much. Why do they say, "click here and we'll charge what we want," instead of "click here and we'll send you x boxes of A and y boxes of B for $[billling amount]"? It shows that they're not willing be upfront and honest about what they're going to do. Having to do business with companies like ADS is another burden of having Type 1. read more

I have been trying to work with ADS for 2.5 months now to get my prescription for a CGM filled through medicare. The interface between ADS and my doctors office is pathetic. ADS keeps telling me that the script that my doctor is writing isn't correct and needs to be submitted via a form that ADS uses. My doctor tells me that he has filled out that form and returned it at least twice now and ADS still say's that they haven't received anything. At this point my doctor is no longer replying to them as he claims that he has provided what every other medicare provider requires and there have been on issues, only with ADS. read more

By far the worst company I've had to deal with in a long time. My insurance company arranged to have them supply CGM's to me, and orders were often shipped at the last possible moment and then arrived late, after the one I was wearing timed out. A few times, the CGM fell off and I called ADS and after 25 or 30 minutes on the phone I was able to get CS to send me a replacement. The third time it happened I called and they refused to send a replacement...instead, they told me that I had to call the manufacturer to see if they would send a replacement. That took almost 3 days to get a response but Abbott did send a replacement. After that sh!tsh0w, I called my insurance provider and they told me that they couldn't understand how I ended up with ADS as my supplier because my insurer has a contract with CVS and recommended I change to them, so the rep switched to them as my provider and I could simply go to their location a few blocks away and pick my supply up from them. My insurance rep also told me that I have zero co-pay for CGM;s which surprised me because ADS has been billing me about $110 in copay each time they ship an order. I then called ADS and cancelled all future orders and to not send the next order which was due to ship in about 3 days from the day I called to cancel. Well, guess what? They shipped the order anyway. I get emailed updates with tracking on any incoming mail and packages to my address and I could see the order was en route but at a facility in Texas. About a day later, I received an email that the shipment was canceled and being returned to the sender. Despite canceling and them clawing the shipment back before it ever got to me, they sent me a bill for a $110 co-pay. I assumed they would have figured it out and dropped the co-pay bill. Nope. Instead, they have continuously sent me mailed collection notices and emails claiming I owe them the $110.00. They also call me about ever other day with a recorded message that gives no opportunity to respond. It is a broadcast only call. It's so persistent that now I don't answer any calls anymore unless it's known family or friends. I finally called their customer service and (after holding for a while) the rep told me that they showed the order WAS delivered (it wasn't!) and that I would have to call shipping to make any claims and sort it out. That infuriated me (sorry to the rep, if you're reading this) because after already spending too much of MY time trying to correct it I became angry and unloaded with all the worst words...but this is another example of how mismanaged and unprofessional the company is, as a whole. First, their service and shipping delays caused me to have periods of days at a time where I had no CGM and Second, they refused to help me with a replacement for a defective monitor (even though they were my supplier) and directed me to the manufacture which delayed the replacement by almost 10 days!, then they charged me a co-pay when my insurer assures me I have a zero co-pay (for the record, I have been using CVS as my supplier since November now and have never paid a copay to them) and finally, when they screw up a shipment that was canceled and returned to them they are insisting I still have a co-pay for that order and have been persistently trying to collect. I just read a few reviews also complaining about slow and late ships so I wanted to warn any future customers of this so they can find a better supplier. Absolutely AVOID. I called at the BEGINNING OF MARCH, 2026. And have played phone tag with FIVE(5) representatives. Being told "this is being held up by the supervisor". So today, APRIL 13TH, 2026, I call and ask for a supervisor. To which ALL OF A SUDDEN I am told the EXACT department who needs to handle my need. This is getting ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES that is NEEDED for my INSULIN PUMP. And am told "you will have to pay out of pocket." I expressed that had THEY at ANY POINT contacted me back, I could have SWITCHED OUT THE UNUSED SUPPLIES like THEY wanted, instead of having to use it (because fun fact, they wanted me to send it back before shipping me out new supplies) that could have been done. BUT since I was ring around the rosy'd I had to use said supplies. I questioned if they would contact my insurance to see if things could be adjusted. In which i was told no, because the original prescription said x on it. Aka THEY REFUSED TO TRY AND DO THEIR JOB! The absolute WORSE company known to mankind. They DO NOT CARE about you they care about money. Refusing to question my insurance, which fun fact WOULD PAY YOU, if they would add more infusion sets and reservoirs is NEGLIGENCE! Absolutely awful company. I have been trying to return this pump and get a new one for 3 weeks. After being on the phone for about 12 hours having the same exact conversation, I GIVE UP! There is no note taking from the calls so everyone I talk to is starting from scratch and knows nothing! I never get the call backs from supervisors that I have been promised. Absolute worst customer experience I have had in my entire life. Avoid this company if you possibly can. Update: They sent me 1/3 of the supplies I need simply to exist. Awful company. Expect to do their job for them. Update #2: Was transferred to the US call center where I was told I would get my infusion sets! HOORAY! That was 6 days ago when I was told they would be "overnighted". After emailing, messaging and otherwise trying to contact this company, I am now on the phone with a non US call center who tell me that the infusion sets are 'Out of stock". I am on my last set.
