Amazing service! My mom is visiting for a couple months and needed her hearing aids cleaned. We called Advanced Eat Care and they got us in in a couple of days (would've been even sooner had my schedule not been as crazy). We asked how much a cleaning would be for her and they informed us it would be around $65. This would include cleaning her ears as well as as the hearing aids. We thought that was fair, given we are in California lol After taking her hearing aids out and checking both her ears and the aids, they discovered neither one really needed to be cleaned. The gentleman who is helping us explain to my mom one area that she could brush free of some dust, and after learning that she didn't have a brush... He went and got her a couple for free. They didn't even let us pay. I thought this was so generous as they could've still charged us for the appointment and the time they took to sit with my mom. Great location, great service. My husband is a military veteran, and had hearing aids from the VA. He had sent them in for repair / and the VA mailed them back to us. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to reconnect the hearing aid back together again. We had run to the local VA in Laguna Hills, but they were unable to help us (their technician was out). My husband had been without his hearing aids for three weeks - the weekend was approaching - and we were both desperate to get our lives back to normal again. Driving home from the VA, my husband noticed Advanced Ear Care - and said - let's go see if they can help. And help, they did! They got the insurance info and said no problem billing insurance ppo plan uhc, the but one day before the test they called to confirm appointment and said "we dont bill insurance company for this test, you need to pay $150". Exceptional! I had an urgent need for audiology testing. Bill was very gracious and kind! I was seen a few hours after my ENT doctor wanted the stat test done. Easy online scheduling. Another clinic was going to have me wait 8 days for a potentially permanent problem. I brought my elderly mom to Advanced Ear Care in Laguna Hills as she needed to adjust her current Starkey hearing aids. My mom ended up buying a new pair of hearing aids and it was such a great deal where my mom even got a credit for donating her old hearing aids. This feels weird- I don't usually write reviews for businesses because most would be so negative, and who needs that? But there's no way I'd fail to comment on the great experience I had at Advanced Ear Care. I was referred to them specifically by my hearing aid manufacturer's customer service dept as the best firm in So Cal. to service and reprogram my aids. It meant driving 58 miles each way from Los Angeles, but the recommendation turned out to be absolutely spot-on! Brandon and Bill were actually fun to hang out with and they took care of everything I needed that same day, and at a cost that turned out to be considerably less quotes from firms here in LA. l'll gladly be making the drive in the future for such first class treatment. These guys do a great job. (Disneyland tries to get their staff to fake a positive vibe, but I believe that everyone I met here genuinely enjoys their work. I am 31 and this is my first check up in quite a while (you wouldn't believe the earwax build up, don't wait if you think you have excess wax!) I'm so happy with the 5 star service I received from this place. I walked in randomly, without an appointment for my hearing aid that was just out of its warranty period. It was my first visit here. Without even asking, the kind lady at the front desk took the initiative and called the hearing aid manufacture to see if they could extend the warranty for me, in which they did! My hearing aid was fixed beautifully within a reasonable amount of time. On a separate occasion I came back with my other hearing aid that stopped working, two days before I had to go on a trip! I truly feel this company takes advantage of senior citizens. I accompanied my 87 year old father to this establishment yesterday. I had done my research in advance and knew his insurance covered a flat fee of 1000 per hearing aide. After he completed his hearing test they recommended hearing aides at a cost of over 8000.00. I said this was over his budget and asked for a different option. He was then offered a pair for 4800.00, I said that is doable since his insurance would cover 2000.00. The representative told me they checked with my dads insurance company and they do not cover hearing aides. I told them they were incorrect and the representative told me they called twice and confirmed that he had no coverage. I said I would call the insurance company again myself and then all of a sudden they explained their error and he was covered. My dad agreed to pay the 2800.00 out of pocket, gets out his credit card but then the price on the screen they were showing us jumped up to 3800.00. I questioned this and was then advised that there was a 1000.00 up charge for fitted hearing aides. I told them he did not need the fitted ones, price then goes down to the 2800.00 out of pocket price. My father again presents his credit card but the price increased again. I asked why and was told she made a mistake on her original quote and this was the correct price. We left without making a purchase and I warn everyone to pay close attention to this place and please don't let your elderly family or friends go there alone. read more

I've been putting off getting hearing aids because I'm in my thirties and really didn't want to admit that I needed them. No idea why people would give this place 5 stars. My first red flag should have been when I scheduled my appointment they "recommended" that I bring my wife. After my hearing test was completed we were brought into the doctors office where he proceeded to tell us that I had "severe" hearing loss in one ear and some hearing lose in the other. He kept speaking to my wife.....I asked what the cost would be and was quoted me $ 7,200. but if I would make a decision now he would reduce to $ 6,500. I agreed to paying half then and the other half once the hearing aids were fitted. Meanwhile, I check around at other places including Costco. Costco price was closer to $ 2,000. So I scheduled an appointment with Costco for a hearing examine. I specially told the examiner the hearing loss percentages that I had been given from Advance. When the exam was concluded I was told their results were completely different. They went on to say that I didn't need hearing aids at all! Buyer beware, they will take your money! read more

I have been wearing hearing aids since 1988 I am on my seventh set I am convinced that the technology in various brands of the hearing aids are quite the same. I am further convinced that the fitting of you're hearing aids is the key to accomplish the best hearing. I have had Stuart Spencer for my last two sets he is the best of the best first of all the fit is perfect before you leave the initial care (no feed back) Stuart recommended that I come in weekly to do any adjustments that might be needed. There are so many options for certain adjustments that it takes a real professional to accomplish and he does it so well you watch the big Monitor while he is working on the various formulas for my particular needs. Such as the various modes phone, background noise, having lunch with someone across the table and on and on. I have Friday morning breakfast with nine of my friends I was having real problems hearing the conversation Stuart recommended a microphone the size of a package of chewing gum to put in the center of the table I am so grateful for that help. I stumbled across Advanced Ear Care after a three year journey to find some hearing aids that would work for my situation. I had just returned a set of aids to an audiologist who never listened to my issues, just told me what I needed and played guessing games with the fitment. I found myself talking with Stewart over the phone, in a rant I was telling him how I thought hearing aids should work, and what I wanted out of them. He agreed with me, and I set up an appointment. Needless to say that after meeting with Stewart and experiencing his professionalism, passion, and knowledge, I had finally found my audiologist. The level of customer service he displayed when going through the fitting sessions along with the programming sessions was far beyond that of any other experience I had to date. If I have an issue, he is never too busy to work with me. One of my hearing aids was having functional issues, I walked into the office without an appointment and they took care me. It has been a phenomenal experience. One day modern medicine will find a way to restore my hearing, but until then I will require an audiologist. My audiologist will be Stewart Spencer. There's not enough words of praise to offer the folks..from the second you walk in the office your typically greeted by your name. Stuart is most attentive to the many needs that I've been experiencing over the years which include tinnitus due to exposure to loud noises during my younger years as well as my hearing loss of 40 percent.. with my hearing aids, there's even an optional no cost remote control, that's perfect for my situation in life. ...I'm able to use a setting for white noise that drowns out the ringing in my ears, I'm also able to hear the most quiet whispers of prayer. Its totally cool too because now with another device that is simply attached to our tv I'm able to hear the tv without it being screaming loud.,which my husband truly appreciates..I'm even able too hear my neighbors talking across the street now....wow no more asking them to wait while I'm running to them in an attempt to hear them..I've been wearing hearing aids since 2007 which were from another company....I'm able now, after almost 9 months of having my new ones to say with all sincerity to check this place out...you will not be disappointed!!!
