Great facility with latest technology. Staff are all real friendly, helpful and patient. I have been a patient of Dr. Debbie Zamora now for 10 years. My husband, myself and our 4 children are all seen here and we are always able to get appointments on the same day as each other making it very convenient. Because we all wear glasses, the staff assisting us while picking out frames is always able to show us the ones that are covered by our insurance therefore keeping our costs down. Glasses are always ready fairly quick, even when the frames have to be ordered. I like that I even get a detailed eye care report at checkout. This detailed report is the "Why I have to wear glasses" explanation and in terms that I understand along with the vocabulary the doctors use so I understand what they said. I also appreciate Advanced Eye Care giving me a copy of my prescription without judgement. Other places I have been have made me feel bad when I ask for my prescription. I like being able to order very cheap backup glasses for my children online and other places have given me grief about this, but never Advanced Eye Care. I would definitely recommend Advanced Eye Care. My family sees both Dr. Debbie Zamora and Dr. Javier Zamora. read more

Sad Customer Service.... After several years, we will NEVER return or give this company any more business! First, called to make an appointment, the woman said she could not find insurance coverage for my sons - I don't know who is training the phone help, but our insurance is the SAME for 18 years... I made appointment, brought my son there, to get yearly eye exam and always pay the extra for retinal eye scan (all fees out of pocket). Got done, paid, ordered 6 month supply of contact lenses (would be available for pick up in 3-4 days). Today, Tuesday I get a call... They never ordered the contact lenses, because someone in billing made a mistake in the charges, and I owe $33. So, they will not order the contact lenses (even though they drafted my credit card $130.+ for the lenses last Thursday). They "Need to be paid first.".... They are holding my son's contact lens prescription, that has been paid for in full hostage, because they are worried they won't get their $33.!!! I would have had to go into the office to pick up the contacts, and could have simply paid the balance then... but, they are completely rude. I have NO debt, no bills I have failed to pay, this treatment is ridiculous! They are willing to loose long standing customers, repeat customers, and lens/glasses sales because THEY made a mistake, and instead of putting the customer/patient first - they care more about $33. stupid dollars.... I have given more than that to panhandlers at street corners! Well, Even talking with Dr. Zamora - they care all about the money... OMG $33. dollars? YOU LOOSE all our future business, and I WILL tell everyone how you treated us. read more

I've been coming here for five years; every visit surpasses my expectations. Dr. Debbie Zamora does a great job, answering all my questions, and exhibiting great patience when I ask her to repeat the "Number 1 or Number 2" thing during lens selection. The office and dispensing staffs are great, too. Their new facility is wonderful, comfortable and attractive. This facility also has state of the art testing equipment, including the Opto Map system. The ability to schedule appointments online by selecting available time slots makes it very easy to do with a busy schedule. Highly recommended. read more

Advanced Eye Care has a Great building and probably updated equipment. The Doctors are all very professional and they want to see that your vision is the beat. Biggest problem - just don't have any real problems with your glasses or frames, as I found out, they will make it your fault and want to charge you again to correct. Spent better part of two months going through their procedure of adjustments to correct problem. They apparently sold me frames that don't fit and though they will change frames they want me to pay for new lenses. Their system incorrectly put the midline too high and they are saying that it was how I held my head when they took the picture. Anyway, the eye vision exam you receive is great, your after customer satisfaction with a problem is where Advanced Eye Care could really care less. read more

Dr. Zamora facilitated my Eye Lasik surgery last year. I had such a wonderful experience. My eyes regressed and I needed an enhancement. She diagnosed a hereditary eye disease that isn't affecting my vision yet, and no other doctor has ever caught it!! I've been going to Advanced Eye Care & Surgery for about 4 yrs now. Let me add that one year I chose to go elsewhere to try my husband's eye doc. Yea.. I quickly realized the level of care provided at Advance Eye Care is like no other. I came running back! Now even my husband comes to Advanced Eye Care. The staff is professional, courteous & extremely helpful every time. The Docs are excellent! I usually see Dr. J Zamora, but have also seen his wife. On my last visit I saw Dr. Maria Cooper and I absolutely loved her! She's smart, witty and thouroughly explained my diagnosis. Overall an excellent provider.. they all are! They moved to this ginormous facility a few years back. It's a bit intimidating at first, but the warm demeanor of the staff makes up for this and you get past the corporate facade. Optical services is a huge make it or break it for me, it is why I didn't return to my husband's doc that one year. The optical staff at Advanced are in a class of their own. They work with you enough to ensure you get a proper and comfortable fit. I have only been here once but my experience was so great. I had a stye in my eye that was really uncomfortable. They have a super relaxing waiting area and the staff is very courteous and friendly. The doctor was very nice and experienced. I had a wonderful, overall experience. I recommended my husband and he is due for an appointment here. My understanding is that Dr. Lan Hoang works out of Dell Children's eye center, however, this location does allow her to practice out of their office. I will say that Advanced eye care has a friendly front desk and the lobby is nice. We took our 3 year old in for an eye exam and the technician did her eye chart test and then said to have our child lay in our lap and she was going to use drops to dilate her eyes and it would sting and she would have blurry vision for the day. We had never been told that the would be an eye dilation and were taken off guard. We told the technician our concerns and that we would like to speak to the doctor first about options and diagnostics. She was short with us and told us the doctor will HAVE to do it to find out anything. We told her we wanted to talk about it amongst ourselves for a moment. She told us we could go in the hall and discuss it. She stayed in the room. So we went in the hall to discuss a private medical issue. We went back in and told her that we still would prefer to talk to the doctor first. Dr. Lan Hoang came in, shook our hands and just started doing an eye exam on our daughter. She didn't tell us what she was doing, why, or the findings. She didn't say that she heard we had some concerns about the dilation and our daughters eye condition and talk us through it. She was impatient, rude and short. She told us the dilation had to be done or she couldn't tell us anything and we needed to find out if there was a tumor or cataract. Jumping to the worst and most unlikely conclusion and not explaining a thing!! Rather than talking us through our concerns while we were obviously worried about the health of our daughter and visibly stressed, she gave us a handout, told us to read it and come tell the front desk when we made up our mind. What?? I could have gotten better info off google. So my husband and I decided this medical care was unacceptable. There are hundreds of other eye doctors and we were going to find a better one that would treat our daughter with the very best of care. We left the office extremely upset. I went home, researched another excellent eye doctor and immediately made an appointment. *****THE KICKER****** The office called my pediatrician and told her that we had left the appointment and they were afraid our daughter wasn't going to get the care she needed. THE ALSO CALLED CPS!!!!! They called cps because we were so unhappy with the care we were receiving that I left the office crying and had to find care elsewhere!!!! They didn't even bother to have the office manager call and ask if we had concerns about the visit or why we left. THAT'S how concerned they must have been about my daughter. If they would have reached out to us, I would have told them how bad our visit was and why we would be seeking medical care elsewhere. Instead they called CPS and told them they were afraid our daughter would go untreated. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. There are so many medical providers out there that you cant just treat your clients like crap and rush them through a personal medical process and expect them not to go somewhere else. Please avoid this woman. She has extremely poor decision making skills, just like her bedside manner. read more

She checked on me to see how things were going. I went back to see her for a check up two weeks ago and I received the same wonderful service from her. This place is horrible they are deceptive and do not fully disclose information. They are over priced and dont care the front dest people act like its no bodies business but their own and we will not be returning. We paid our co pay and expected to get perscriptions but were told that the contact lens one could not be issued unless we bought the lenses from them.WHAT? They said they wanted to make sure they were set Nonsense they just wanted to eat our allownce for contacts when i know for a fact that the company they use only charges them about 30 a lens they mailed us last years bill with my husbanda contacts by accident and we saw how much they actually pay for lenses but yet they take all your availabilty and then some a bunch of rapist they are so if you like that kind of Stuff keep going there A very unhappy patient read more

I only give 2 stars because Dr. Zamora is very nice. The staff is horrendous! Overpriced glasses and contacts. My prescription was for glasses was messed up and my contacts were wrong. The receptionists acted like it was my fault she messed up with the billing to insurance. I first addressed my issues with dr. Zamora(I have used her for years, as well as the rest of my family). It didn't get better! The receptionist I dealt with was just plain rude! I got my glasses, they were super strong and way too big for my face, I hated them. They told me my contact prescription and glasses prescription do not match, and that when the doctor backed off on my contacts prescription it did not affect my glasses. WRONG!! Telling me this without talking to the doctor. After hundreds of dollars spent, I went to another eye doctor and she said the eye glass prescription is too strong for me, which causes eye strain. She decreased my prescription and whala, perfect! And guess what? They are a very close match(which had always been the case for me) to my contact prescription. I was so frustrated with the front desk staff @ AEC. Them my laid back husband had a ton of drama with his eye exam too. We changed offices for good! read more

Questions are answered and time taken with each patient, even if they are busy. Could not ask for better service or treatment. Feel very confident with this practice, but don't expect to just run in and out for an "eye test" like you may have done at so many other places....they actually DO the tests and explain things to you here. I've finally found the eye care doctor and office to meet my needs! It's a great feeling. As my eyes are aging I've needed eye correction for the first time in my life. The whole world of corrective vision is still pretty new to me. I've been to two previous doctors and been less then satisfied. Dr. Javier Zamora at Advanced Eye Care, along with his professional staff, really took the time to work with me and find out what would best meet my needs. In fact, they spent 3 hours working with me on my first visit and it went by so quickly! The office is clearly very 'state-of-the-art'. I've never seen so many different pieces of testing equipment before. Also very clean and well organized. The selection of eyewear is amazing. They have the largest selection of Silhouette eyewear I've ever seen. I decided to try contacts for the first time. They now make specialty hybrid lenses for 'aging eyes'. I'm excited but somewhat nervous to give them a try when they come in. The staff at Advanced Eye Care but my worries to rest. They said they will work with me until we get the contact lenses perfect, and they will teach me how to put in/take out, and how to care for them. Whew! It sure will be great not to have to constantly put on and take off my reading glasses! If you've tried other eye care centers and aren't happy, or are just looking for a great place to get started.......you will love this place! read more

Overpriced. They charge $30 more for a box of my contacts than every other place I have looked. When asked the staff says thats their price and that they usually have a really high markup on the items they carry. They are unappologetic about this but try to offer up a 20% discount if you buy a 6-12 supply. Even with the discount that supply would still be considerably more expensive than other places. Eye exam took two hour and follow-up was two hours just to make sure I was adjusting to the new lenses (I had no complaints or issues to cause the appointment to take so long). Save yourself some money by going elsewhere. read more

Advanced Eye Care is top shelf. I've been seeing eye Dr.'s for over 40 years and AEC is the best experience yet. Everyone is super friendly and professional.
