This is my 2nd time going back, I had to get another surgery. Before hand I had to reschedule like 3 times and I felt so bad but they were so understanding and so kind! A week before my appointment they made a follow up call which I really respect and it makes me feel safe, and that this place is not sketchy at all. I have a really bad fear of needles and I told them when they came in the room and the doctors and nurses were super nice and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable. If you are looking for a place to get any extractions or wisdom teeth pulled, I 1000000/10 recommend this place because they are just so nice and respectful. We have been coming here for a year now and could not be more pleased! The staff is simply amazing. From the front desk and beyond, everyone is so nice and friendly. Dr. Anjana is absolutely incredible! My daughter just loves her! She is so patient and caring. To say she has helped my daughter overcome her fear of going to the dentist is an understatement. Now she actually ENJOYS going! As a parent who has been afraid of going to the dentist myself for most of my life, I just feel so calm and at ease here. I've been going here for years the Dentis is super friendly and knows exactly what she's doing the first time she's very professional she tries to make it as comfortable as I can be, she always ask questions for comfort and yet we have a full blown conversation about vacation resorts. with a mouth guard in my mouth . I have been going to this Dentist office for five years. I had an appointment for 1:40 pm. I arrived at the office at 1:50 and was told by the receptionist that I was 30 minutes late for my appointment. I showed her the text which stated I had an appointment for 1:40 and she stated the Dentist office was about to close therefore I would not be able to be seen. I found this to be very insensitive seeing that I have had to wait pass my appointment time to be seen at several of my appointments. I was not asked if I would like to reschedule the appointment. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this dentist office or recommending it to anyone that I know. I am surprised they are still open. Every year they have a new dentist. read more

I made an appointment for TMJ consultation since they they have a couple of TMJ specialists here. At my appointment, they were ONLY concerned how I found them and why I didn't have a referral for what I went in for. They tried to call my dentist, who in fact gave me referral to another place. I didn't go to the place that my dentist gave me a referral for since they didn't accept my insurance. That's why I found this place through my insurance. Nevertheless, they took exrays and told me they would have someone above also look at them and that I should hear back within a week with treatment options. I never heard back from them. When I called them back, there was no answer. Now I'm stuck with a bill, in which, I'm basically paying to of had a dead end conversation that lead to nowhere. Would not recommend this place since they don't follow up with their patients and question your visit. read more

I made an appointment due to the stellar reviews, close to home. It was a hard process since I was with my former dentist for 17 years. I called and made appointment 2 weeks ago, receptionist seemed friendly. She informed me someone would call me to confirm insurance info. I got a call this past Wednesday to confirm appointment and was told I would receive another call Friday to confirm appointment(???????). It seems like they could consolidate the phone calls to just 1. Why would u call someone twice?? Suggestion guys. Arrived at appointment to facility. Decent facility, decent waiting room. Went in back to get X-rays and noticed there was another seat near mine. Wait where's the wall??? No privacy??? Though the had a privacy notice on top of paperwork??? How about a private room. Another suggestion. The tech must have taken multiple X-rays. I'm shocked she didn't take one of my colon. Must have been at least 20. My teeth are not that bad. I go to dentist every 6 months but I understand...1st visit, rake it up!!! Plus I have good insurance. Doctor seemed nice, friendly. They have your images on the screen while they take pics and while doc is consulting u. That part I did like & something my prior dentist lacked. He told me the hygienist will be with me shortly. I was relaxing in seat when one of the assistants came and said that it will be 30-45 minutes before hygienist sees me or if I want to come another day. I informed her that I will wait, I do not have another day to come by to get a cleaning - today's the day. She laughed, I laughed. ????? I went to waiting room and just wanted to make sure I was on the list. The 2 ladies at the front desk thersaid yes I will be seeing the hygienist and the lady I spoke with in the chair also confirmed and stated that the hygienist has separate hours than the doctor. What??? I have never heard of that before. They give u a "free" dental teeth whitening kit. They fit u for the mouth piece. Please bring a raincoat! When the hygienist does your teeth cleaning u are getting all wet from your saliva. Plus she started on my top teeth then bottom, then back...no consistency to cleaning like I used to have. I will continue to find an old school dentist. Will I be back???? Hmmmmmmm probably not. read more

I'm giving this place one star because they offer you a $5 GC to post a review. Obviously people will post 5 star reviews because they haven't dealt with them enough to give them an accurate review...with that being said, I'm disappointed in their service. At first they are nice but then they get ignorant. What really upset me was that they call to confirm your appointment a couple days prior (no problem) if you don't pick up they leave a scripted message saying "If you don't call back by the end of today we will cancel your appointment and charge you a $25 cancellation fee"(PROBLEM) People can't always call back the same day. Also, the dentists have VERY LITTLE patience with small children, as soon as the kid fusses they quickly jump to give you a referral for a pediatric dentist who probably compensate them for all the business he sends them. Recently I had tooth pain and I called to see if they had an appointment the same day. The girl didn't say no right away but asked for my info to check my file. She said no appointments were available because I needed extra work done since I haven't been there in a while. They pretty much could care less about me and only wanted me to go in on a day that they could do "X-rays" so they could make more money off of me. I've been a patient at Advanced Family Dental for a couple years now. I usually get a cleaning every 6 months. Every dental assistant I've encountered has been friendly and well trained for the cleaning. Dr. Mustapha is very thorough with the my teeth examination. A great bonus is that they always provide their clients with a new Oral-B soft bristle toothbrush, sample dental floss, travel-sized toothpaste, and mouthwash. 2 thumbs up for this location. OK I give them 4 stars due to the Dental Hygienist, she is very kind and so friendly. She is the type of woman you would want as a neighbor. I enjoy the Doctor. When we went we were given free whiting kits and Oral B toothbrushes. I agree it appears their prices are higher. Lose one star because my husband had the same exact work done for $75.00 dollars cheaper two weeks before. The doctor also can get one setup in the proper clinics for free dental. He was able to setup a free $10,000 jaw surgery for someone I know. This changed her life. Their technology is outstanding. No more scraping for cleanings. They simply use water spray tool. I am one of the lucky ones and have insurance. However I do have to pay 50%. If you have a fear of the dentist he specializes in that. He can sedate you and complete all the work right there in the office. I would recommend them. read more

This place is great. Great and friendly staff, clean, and organized. My daughter came in with me and they were kind enough to put a movie on for her so that she could relax.
