His girlfriend shows up and starts screaming at us, saying we are trying to rip them off, making threats and claiming to be an attorney. She continued insulting, threatening with litigation, and intimidating for an hour, trying to get us to just pay without meaningful discussion or negotiation. Warning: This dude has a serious attitude problem, so stay away! He initially proffered an estimate that was twice what we were getting from other tree services, and then he returned to our residence on the day after the estimate was given in order to give us his business card and set a date for removal of our dead pine tree. At that point I bluntly informed him that his bid was too way high and that his license was not verified on Yelp. At first he balked and denied that fact, and then he eventually admitted to me that he had allowed his license to lapse. This dude even had the audacity after our little verbal exchange to demand that my brother return his business card. It didn't end there either. I was informed by my sister on the following day that he had called her to complain about MY attitude! He claimed that I was rude to him when I had simply exposed his duplicity and pointed out to him that his bid was way out of line. Unbelievable. Stay away.
