How have we survived without these people for so long?!?! I own a four year old startup company in Downtown. We obtained our second round of funding in March 2012, and therefore, could finally start improving our IT systems. We interviewed five different computer support companies (or maybe it was six) over the course of three weeks. We are very protective of our data and wanted to make sure we performed comprehensive due diligence. We asked tough questions, evaluated their suggestions, and checked lots of references. It was exhausting and time consuming to say the least. But it was all worth it because we were lucky enough to have found Nate, the owner of Advanced Networks and their amazing team of techs. The team really understood our goals regarding cloud computing. They incorporated an effective cloud-based file sharing and backup system. They installed a robust in-house server for our data and VPN needs that has the capability of expanding as we do. One of the requirements of our largest inventor is that we use Google Docs. Malcom and Karl, two of the techs we see most often, made big improvements to how we were using the apps. We have greatly benefited from all of their help and suggestions. Our office has been working with Advanced Networks for about a year and a half now. We want to be focused on our work, not on our IT, so after we had some ongoing issues with our previous provider, I asked a colleague who is very tech-savvy to help us find a replacement. I run my own web and graphic design business and my main machine crashed. I wasn't able to boot it up and I thought I'd lost all of my files.
