The cardiac doctor wanted to wait till the knee was addressed before proceeding with stint surgery. After day 6 and no confirmed knee diagnosis or treatment plan they elected to proceed with the heart surgery. She communicated with him on multiple occasions about her knee pain triggering cardiac event concerns from knee treatment services. He elected to proceed with treatment that resulted in MAJOR pain which resulted in her screaming in the hospital and crying for an hour. He elected to stomp out of room with a MAJOR attitude towards my mother and daughter in the room.

I'm an ex-ballet dancer who broke and dislocated my ankle from slipping off of a curb in tall flip flops LOL (it's true...)...There is more metal in there than bone ;D! VERY stoic...but very patient and answered all of my questions. He worked out a major good deal for me on the cost of my surgery because it was before Obama Care and I was uninsured. I will never forget his generous gift to me at a major time in need. He did a wonderful job and I'm back to yoga and hiking with no ankle aids (not back in heals). I hated the staples. I've been dealing with major back…read morepain since I was 17 and over the years it had just became worse and worse to the point I was no longer able to work or function normally day to day. I had originally been referred to a different ortho specialist and had a horrible experience there. When I asked to get a new doctor doe a second opinion I was sent to Dr. Pacheco. Now when I first went to see him I didn't expect much, I knew my back was bad and there probably wasn't going to be many options for me. But Dr. Pacheco was a kind and understanding person, and luckily enough he had experienced similar people with my type of pain. Ultimately he provided me with the option of a spinal fusion, I won't lie I was nervous, but I could tell Dr. Pacheco was trustworthy and he was willing to give me another shot with a repaired back. It might not be brand new but he fixed me up. Dealing with chronic back pain as bad as mine really had me in a dark place mentally but Dr. Pacheco was able to give me hope again.

The gal that answered the phone I told her why I was calling said she would check in the back and be right back. I was on hold for over 5 minutes, 2 other people picked up the blinking line and asked if they could help and I explained I was being helped. Finally, someone else picked up the line and asked if she could help, I told her the other gal was checking. Out of her mouth she asked who is your insurance company and I told her it was VA, she very rudely stated we don't take VA, not I am sorry sir but rudely we do not take VA. What a rude bi^%ch. Rude people like that make me sorry I ever enlisted!!
