Eric, the PA, took his time to educate me about the circulatory system, why veins need to be treated, and the repercussions of not treating them long term. The ultrasound tech was a pleasure to talk to, and the ma was very friendly as well. Speaking to them made me realize how much info was missing from the previous practice I went to. This should be the standard for all medical practices. I live in buckeye and made the drive out here, and it was worth it. Excited to continue my treatments here Initial call over the phone went well so far. The instructions that the scheduler gave me for what to do before the initial consultation was more thorough than the other vascular surgeon's place I went to in peoria. I asked if previous medical records from there need to be faxed over but they said no. Crossing my fingers that everything goes well!

It is a two story building with Physician offices, complete testing facility and surgical Center in one great facility. Type of care 5/5 Annual ECHO performed by Ruthie. Quality of care 5/5++ Ruthie provided great care and service who exemplifies what great patient bedside manners look like. She thoughtfully explained everything. Ruthie is the type of care provider who represents the practice and professional well. Updated After checkout I was waiting for my ride in the upstairs waiting area by the elevator and an elderly gentleman went to a window clearly upset and appeared confused. It was not hard to hear him he projected loudly. The young woman working that window spent time with him using outstanding interpersonal skills to calm him down. He needed extra attention to help address his questions. I witnessed her locating facilities located loser to our location and providing him All the information necessary to address his concerns. This was over the span of 15 minutes. When he left I approached her window to offer a fist bump a tell her she was awesome! That was an amazing display of kindness, empathy I rarely see. They have a sign posted at the front desk stating "Our Valued Patients and Family Members - At this time when the news is dominated by COVID-19, we want to let you know that we are vigilantly implementing enhanced protocols to ensure your safety". It goes on to say they're monitoring and implementing recommendations of the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control. From what I saw, nothing could be farther from the truth. I saw no social distancing, no germ abatement techniques being used, and no cleaning supplies available in the waiting area nor at the front desk (I asked for them). Keeping in mind the nature of this practice, their clientele are elderly. There was no temperature monitoring before entry into the crowded waiting room (it is relatively small). The other 3 doctors I've taken my mother to in the past 8 weeks ALL required temperature checks - without them you could not enter their buildings. As it should be! There were 3 staff sitting at the small reception desk, each one being only 2 to 3 feet apart. Throughout the time we were there, no one was even remotely attempting to keep 6 feet apart. None of the many staff I saw wore a mask! The door leading from the waiting room into the examination area required using a door handle. When I asked the reception attendees if they had disinfecting wipes so I could clean the handle, they said they did not. Where are those "vigilant enhanced protocols"? They're not even following the basic recommendations when no one is social distancing, no one is wearing a mask, and there are no readily available cleaning supplies in a small reception area of a business that is processing a high volume of extremely at-risk patients? Unbelievably irresponsible and putting those patients lives at risk if you ask me! We left without services, of course.
