Although Ron is good and professional, his office manager is rude and they are very slow to book. I started my process with them in January to fix my spa. Called and set appointment for 3rd week in February. He came out and was there less than an hour and told me I needed a new control panel, told me which one to buy, and to reach out when I got it. It took a few weeks for the part to come and when I went to schedule to have it installed, it was another 2 weeks out. That led to today. I cancelled other appointments to be here to get it fixed between 11-1 and get a text at 11:22 telling me Ron was sick and wouldn't be coming. I don't want a sick man to work... but they only work during the week during limited times and I can't take off work again. They did not offer any discount for the inconvenience, in fact, the office manager was quite rude. I have included the text exchange. The office manager was friendly and up front regarding pricing. Ron arrived during the agreed upon time frame and was courteous and accommodating since I work from home and had to take a meeting while he was here. I reached out and waited two weeks for the guy to come Out and tell me my spa was not worth fixing to go buy a new one.l kind you it works just making a noise from the pump or electrical box. I was polite and told him what was going on with it at that point he said give him time to look at it so I did. Mind you he had worked on my spa before and fixed some issues that were wrong with it. This time around he told me we was not going to work on it and said he did not work on it my spa before when I clearly showed him my invoice form the last time he worked on it. I first contacted Ron Braddock, owner Advanced Spa Repair to replace a small 3 1/2" jet in 2019. I paid the $100 service fee and an additional $60 (aprox.) for the part. It took several months before Ron came back to install the part. One year later, in Dec of 2020 another part identical to the previous one fell out. I paid Ron another $100 service fee and an additional $75 for the part. Six months later I have been unable to reach him despite numerous phone calls and messages. I used them once and thought I would give them another chance. 1st time, the owner took my part to try to find something that would match. I hadn't heard back in 2 weeks so I decided to call. He said he is still looking for the part. Called back again and he told me he could not find a replacement part. I felt fortunate to have him send me back my part because I had a feeling, I wasn't going to see it again after multiple attempts. 2nd request for repair. Not available for 2.5 weeks understandably because I wanted a Monday. After waiting a week and a half, I was growing impatient with my hot tub leak so decided to see if I can get anyone sooner. I placed a request on yelp and one of the companies to receive the request was Advanced Spa Repair which messaged me if I was the one with upcoming appointment with them. I said yes and asked for any sooner day, (any other than Monday was fine also) , because I needed to repair this sooner than later. They said no and asked if I wanted to keep my appointment in a week. I told them I did. I was now a week away from my scheduled appointment but after 2 days I got a message that they are CANCELING MY APPOINTMENT AND NOT RESCHEDULING AT THIS TIME. Now that's quite obnoxious because I already waited so long and no sign of gratitude towards customers in this day of high completion for best service. They may have a better chance getting away with it in Europe but not here. And frankly, it wouldn't take much to have asked me to cancel in advance if I intended to which I certainly would have. read more

I was called back right away and scheduled. I needed my spa connected to my 220v spa disconnect. Ron came in and knew exactly what the issue was after looking at the computer and looking at the wiring in the spa disconnect. He got it hooked up correct and it was up and running! It didn't take long so he gave me some real help on my controls and my water balances. He even gave me a real quick easy way of emptying my spa without using the connection that came with the spa. We had a small leak in our small 5 person hot tub. When Ron came out to inspect it, I felt he was extremely up-front and honest about the various issues we could be facing. After spending time inspecting it, Ron concluded he wasn't exactly certain where the leak was coming from. Ron had always done a great job for all my spa repairs. Last year he even ordered and installed a new spa cover. after it was installed it was not quite perfect in its fit. Ron asked me if I wanted him to take it back and get another one. I told him I would try it as is. About a week later I changed my mind and called their business and told Kathy I wanted to talk with Ron. She would not let me so I told her that I needed to have a different size installed and I was told that it would cost me $200. When I asked her to have Ron call me, she never did. She was not helpful and just didn't care about the mistake so I have never used Advanced Spa Repair again. If I could bypass Kathy and talk with Rod I would still like to use him. read more

After the appointment, Ron called me at work to let me know the exact cost and what my spa needed. After ordering the part, which came in FAST by the way. We had an appointment to install the part on Monday. I did leave my gate unlocked on the Friday before and left them a message saying that IF he was in the neighborhood, my gate would be open.
