One of the surgeries for teeth extractions. They got everything. She even does an X-ray after to make sure there's nothing left.

I LOVE this place. I am so grateful for Dr. Lynn and all the staff here. They helped save my cat's life and improve her quality of life. My cat has severe stomatitis and it seemed to progress relatively fast. We didn't realize how bad it was until it was late and we really needed help. It got so bad my cat couldn't eat. It is not easy to find a Vetinary specialist in dentistry. Especially one we trust. I was so worried when we called bc my cat stopped eating and was suffering daily. We got so lucky when we called we were able to get a same day consultation. They helped us with the pain and we scheduled an appointment. Our baby had two surgeries with Dr. Lynn. We had great communication and were even able to bring a blanket from home so she felt a bit more comfortable. Overall, I am so great I'm for the experienced Dr. Lynn and her staff. I know our baby is safe and well taken care of. Also to anyone concerned about price, pet insurance can help if you get it early. This is a specialty place and you know your pet is in good hands.

This shows the before picture and after picture. Super clean job. Might be graphic for some people.

I took Sierra in for a consultation because of her 2 chipped teeth. They were already chipped when I adopted her. She is a medium sized Siberian Husky mix and is 2 years old. One chipped tooth is her canine tooth and another was a small incisor next to the canine tooth. I believe Advanced Veterinary Dentistry is family owned by Dr. Lynn. She is a wonderful woman with a very calm aura that truly wants what is best for the dog. I believe her husband helps the business and answers the phone. He is a very nice man and really pleasant to talk to haha. There is maybe another 1-3 assistants. My point is, the business is run authentically by the owners and you can see the amount of care given to their practice and cause. Plus everyone is super nice! Definitely an environment I want my dog to be in - calm, nice, relaxed. The consultation was very smooth. My dog gets nervous going to doctors or dentist offices. During the exam, Dr. Lynn gave her chicken treats to make sure it was a pleasant experience. It was difficult for her to take pictures of the teeth so she ended up taking her outside and having me hold her lips open so she could take pictures. I really liked that decision. She wants what's best for the dog and takes the route of the least stressful for the dog. Dr. Lynn examined Sierra's teeth and supplied detailed pictures and explained the 2 options for Sierra. She explained to me what was happening with her teeth and what was going on in the roots as well. There was no pressure on which method I'd choose and Dr. Lynn explained there is no "right" or "better" way. I really liked that she presented the options objectively and respected whatever decision I'd make. I found the payment estimates to be very fair as well. The day of the surgery I decided to have Sierra's canine and incisor tooth extracted. It took about 4 hours from when I dropped her off and when I went to pick her up. The operation went very smoothly. Sierra came out looking more lively and herself than usual. Normally after anesthesia she is very dazed. But this time she was cheerful and very hungry! Haha. They gave me clear aftercare directions for Sierra and some non steroidal medication. They also included clear pictures of before and after the procedure. In addition, a detailed report explaining the procedure, i.e. the situation before, and results after. The next day, Dr. Lynn texted me to check up on Sierra. I really appreciated this because it shows she cares and how adaptive they are and up to date with technology. A simple text gets the job done and warrants quick and easy response/communication. Covid process. Since this is during COVID, I would call them and wait in my car outside. They are very safe and COVID friendly. In summary, Dr. Lynn is a professional. She not only has the technical skills but has a good heart and cares for the animals. She wants them to be as comfortable as they can and is looking out for their well being. Awesome job Dr. Lynn, keep doing what you're doing . :)

Before and after Molar removal. Clean work, nice job!

Unfortunately, our experience left a very poor & unprofessional first impression. AFTER ALL WE ARE PAYING FOR A SERVICE!! Upon arrival, we encountered a sign at the front desk that was extremely condescending and immediately gave the impression of a business more interested in enforcing rules than treating patients with respect. There is a 10-minute grace period that is not clearly communicated beforehand, and if you are even slightly late, the clinic threatens to cancel your appointment and charge a late fee. We were only about five minutes late due to a long line and parking delays, yet we were told our appointment was canceled and a late fee would be applied. The staff at the front desk were dismissive and RUDE AF!!!! , particularly one woman who seemed to enjoy asserting power over patients. She even hung up abruptly on a caller saying, "I'll call you back, I'm busy." When we requested to speak to the manager, the response was only slightly better, still condescending, and we were reprimanded for explaining the situation. It felt very much like being treated as children rather than valued clients. For a clinic that presumably cares for animals, this lack of empathy, patience, and basic courtesy was courtesy was shocking. If you're treating your HIGH PAYING CLIENTS THIS BAD!? HOW ARE YOU TREATING OUR BELOVED ANIMALS? YIKES. The behavior at the front desk, combined with the aggressive sign, makes it very difficult to feel comfortable or welcome. We hope the owners and doctor are made aware of this, as staff attitude can seriously affect a clinic's reputation and patient loyalty. We are reconsidering whether to continue using this clinic and strongly encourage owners particularly more than poor management to retrain front desk staff on professionalism and compassion. Patients who spend significant amounts on pet care deserve to be treated with respect and understanding (especially during their first visit) Once this behavior is put on social platforms such as Yelp, Google. Even tik tok you will suffer greatly by allowing your front desk to abuse your clientele? What an absolute embarrassment. Take your disgusting signs down before you go viral.

I paid at the end, the receptionist called the team to confirm nothing else was needed on my end, then I left. The next day, I was notified that they forgot to charge me an additional fee from USDA, and was told that had I responded to Rosey's messages prior to our appointment "I would have known that". I triple checked our text chain, phone log, emails, and even PetDesk - none of which have anything from Rosey before our appointment on 3/3. Naturally, I questioned the additional charge (there was already a USDA fee that I paid for on the original invoice) and mentioned that I had no correspondence from Rosey leading up to the appointment. I received such a condescending and accusatory email back from her and was essentially told she would not help me in the future. I'm still waiting to connect with management and share screenshots showing that Rosey never reached out to me before our appointment. I completely understand that mistakes happen and I would have been fine to pay the additional fee. However, I don't stand for gaslighting and false accusations.

Multiple antibiotics. cough suppressant and an inhaler. She didn't improve. During this time, we were contacted about buying a nebulizer and using colloidal silver and acupuncture was also suggested. Looking back, none of that would have addressed what we later found. Tumors throughout her lungs. What was especially painful was the upselling feeling while we were desperate. On the day we had to euthanize Betty, our daughter first thought she couldn't be present but then changed her mind. We were charged an additional 125 dollars just to be in the room with her. That felt really insensitive on an already heartbreaking day. We spent around $2,000 total between treatment and euthanasia. I understand veterinary care is costly, but what I expected was clearer communication, compassionate guidance, and not feeling pressured into add-ons while saying goodbye to a member of our family.

Dr Evelyn is always thorough in giving treatment and answering all questions, though she now doesn't have many appointments available and has her other doctors take the vast majority of patients. Dr Li is ok but not as good as Dr Evelyn, he often does not follow up with test results and you have to track him down to get answers. Not to mention their prices are insanely high, even for CA standards. And when you finish a tech appointment, they just try to rush you out of there and hand your dog over, you have to really dig to get some information on your pet or how to use medication. The main issue is that Petsadena now directs calls to a call center operator with AI-like humanoids. Most of the time they don't even answer. If they do, they do everything in their power to avoid connecting you to the vet's office. Explaining the issue or leaving a message is useless, never get a return call. Really frustrating experience not being able to get connected to a human that can handle questions or issues. I have since found a new vet. What a difference 9 years can make, very unfortunate this is the way they treat long-term clients now. There was a few years where they were constantly losing veterinarians and the wait times were long but honestly the last year or two has been very stable. Parking is very limited so I like to get there a little early to get a spot. I make appointments online but I've been able to get same-day appointments on the phone with no extra cost when an urgent matter arises. The staff is usually pretty nice and they've gotten way more efficient with the overall appointment. When you have an appointment you'll fill out a form online asking basic questions about why you're bringing the pet and it captures their diet. However, they ask you the same questions again when you do the intake so I'm not sure why we fill it out before. When the vet tech summons you, you'll take your dog to the scale before going to your room or if you have a cat they'll go to the room and then you put the cat on the table scale. I really like the price transparency at the end of the appointment, it's nice to not be surprised at checkout. They also only charge you out after the vet techs have done the procedure. Sometimes my cat can only tolerate one of the three recommendations so I'll only be charged for the one they complete (and have to come back for the others) but I like that they respect my girls' comfort! I would recommend this place, though I do have pet insurance so the costs aren't as prohibitive to me.

The receptionist was extremely rude and condescending and would not let me talk to anyone about the situation. I begged for two hours to talk to the vet, and she kept treating me like I was wasting her time. In the meantime, my foster was in a crate in the back of the building. I finally got to talk to a vet on the phone after the two-hour wait, and she told me "Ok, we'll put her to sleep"!! I was agonized and told her that I was supposed to be with the dog during this process. At this point, I had been weeping for two hours and just wanted to hold my foster. Another 45 minutes went by, and I was told to meet them outside the back of the building. While I was sitting there, I could hear employees in the back room laughing and making fun of clients. Rats were running back and forth across the fence. It was dark when the process finally happened, and I was able to go home. It was absolutely the worst experience at a veterinary hospital in my years of fostering. I wrote a letter detailing the ordeal to the vet manager.
