Sansbury refused to write a new prescription without another exam. It was less than a week since I had my eyes examined. I was sent out with a lens I cannot wear and my eyesight in that eye is -11.50. In my opinion, they did not care that I cannot see without a lens in that eye. That was the worst customer service I have ever had at a medical facility. I will not return and I advise anyone considering Sansbury to be very wary.

Dr. Ingram was very quick in his evaluation of my eye prescription. He asked approximately 2-3 questions only for each eye. I mentioned at that time that with the prescription that he came up with, I could not read with my left eye beyond the biggest possible size letters, while with my right eye I could see easily the tiniest setting! But Dr. Ingram only said that this happened because of the different axis without rechecking if the prescription that he came up with was correct. Anyways I used the prescription of Dr. Ingram and bought glasses accordingly. One month later I decided that I will get a second eye prescription to see if it agrees with the eye prescription that I got from Dr. Ingram. Surprise! The prescription is different! Unfortunately, I already wasted the money to buy glasses according to the prescription of Dr. Ingram.

The woman who was helping my daughter find glasses she liked had an attitude and outright insulted me twice! I resolved to never go back. Please note that I didn't make a bad review at that time. I decided to let it go and move on. Fast forward a few months, my daughter's glasses broke and I decide to order her a pair online. I call to get her prescription. They gave me all the numbers except the pupillary distance (which you must have to order glasses). I was told I would need to bring her in to get it remeasured and I would need to pay $10. So then I asked for her pupillary distance from the glasses we bought from them. They REFUSED to give it to me and said it was against office policy to give it out. My husband then got on the phone and informed them that this was part of her medical record which we have a right to under HIPPA laws. We are now awaiting a call from the office manager within a few days because he is out of town. Don't use this office. They are literally in violation of the law and they are just plain rude.

May I suggest if you are going to 'Welcome' new technicians that you do it after business hours......not on my time or my dime. Shame on Dr. Clary for not stepping up in defense of his diabetic patients or any patients whether to see a doctor or to have scheduled surgery.
