If you want some place that cares about the patients then this is not the place for you. They say a 30 minute wait and I waited almost 2 hours. My daughter had to say something and then they took me back and someone took my blood sugar because I hadn't ate since 4:30 the day before and didn't have any kind of water to drink since 10:30 the night before. My blood sugar was 352 or 353 . The girl who took it said "yeah..it's a little high" Meanwhile they carted in Outback lunch for employees because it was 'Welcome the new Technicians Week'. May I suggest if you are going to 'Welcome' new technicians that you do it after business hours......not on my time or my dime. Shame on Dr. Clary for not stepping up in defense of his diabetic patients or any patients whether to see a doctor or to have scheduled surgery. read more

I had an excellent experience from scheduling my appointment, wait time and actual exam/information. While I was not able to get an appointment as quickly as I wished due to scheduling limitations I was seen promptly. From my arrival time to the time I was called back was about 10 minutes (max). Once I was back I received a thorough pre exam and reviewed my history. I have an autoimmune disease that has just caused a multitude of eye issues. After having my eyes dilated I waited about 5 minutes to be seen by the doctor. I felt Dr Bryan provided excellent care and was dedicated to ensuring we have a well developed plan of care for my eyes. I was very pleased with the care I received EDIT: Do NOT schedule appointments on their post op days. Your wait time will be OVER 90 minutes. Very disappointing read more

Dr. Clary preformed surgery on both of my eyes for cataracts. I was extremely nervous but he made me feel comfortable and calmed my fears. My left eye surgery was yesterday and I am amazed at the results. My vision has been very poor requiring a very strong prescription. One day post surgery my vision was 20/20 for distance and 20/25 near vision. Also Dr. Clary prayed with me prior to each surgery and gave God the glory for my great results. read more

Dr Huff and the staff are beyond the best in the business! I experienced the best bedside manner, The best patient care and the best experience with surgery ever. Maybe I should give my second eye some time to heal but without a doubt an awesome experience! I went into this whole cataract experience scared and apprehensive on having my eyes cut on. Dr. Lucas Platt performed cataract surgery on both eyes. I chose him because my regular doctor was not in the insurance network that would give me a greater discount at the surgical center and my wife had her cataracts removed with Dr. Platt and was so happy with him. But I hadn't personally met him before being wheeled in for the surgery. That's when I asked him about what kind of lens I would have. I was going to have two distance lenses put in and would need glasses for reading, computer, and playing an instrument. I had filled out the papers earlier but I had excluded using $3,400 lenses (each!) which would have removed the need for glasses. So, Dr. Platt explained the options again more specifically and, having worn glasses many decades, I decided to wear the glasses. So we went forward with the first distance lens. A few days later, Dr. Platt called me to say he found a lens manufacturer who was running a promotion that would give me a FREE lens --as effective as the $3,400 variety... and he remembered my disappointment. So that's what we did!! Now, how many doctors have ever personally called you when you weren't even one of his regular patients? To save you thousands of dollars because he knew your were disappointed? Not an assistant or office staff calling, but the doctor HIMSELF!?? Dr. Platt is special. Oh year... everything went well. I still need glasses for the tiny print, but I'm so pleased. My eyesight is 20/20. Pretty cool, huh?!! read more

Expect a long wait (over an hour) and unfriendly staff. By the time you actually get in a room...you get to wait some more.

Larger eye care team. Very good doctors and techs are great. Very efficient appointment process - if you had eye care you know its a few test and exams on your way to the doc - very organized and little if any wait time. Dr and staff very pleasant and very knowledgeable. Leave time to park in garage next to building. Free parking and roving security so no issues there. read more

Dr. Clary was the third optometrist I went to after talking to him I knew this was the doctor I was going to trust with my eyesight. He was very helpful in helping me decide what procedure would help me most and help me obtain my goals. He explained the pros and cons of each procedure. He took the time to explain what each procedure would entail and what results I could expect. The day of the procedure he asked to pray over me, that assured me I was in great hands. The procedure went great and for the first time in 30 years I could enjoy life without the bother of contacts or glasses. I took my kids to Carowinds and we rode the water rides and for the first time in three decades I rode without the water getting behind my contacts and causing me pain. Was referred to Dr. Clary for cataract surgery. Surgery went well, the staff was very nice and I liked that Dr. Clary had a quick prayer with me before surgery, though it sounded very canned. It was follow up where I had my problem. I had no problem seeing after getting my new glasses and liked their optician there. My follow up was with their optometrist and I was told I needed a YAG laser to my eye to polish the lens as cells had started to grow on it as can happen. I then had to wait several weeks and come for another appointment to see Dr Clary to wait 45 minutes and have my eyes dilated again for him to look 1 minute to say yes I needed a YAG. Why was that not coordinated when I was there with the optometrist? It did not take but a minute for him to confirm. I was then waiting to see the surgery coordinator and set my appointment for the YAG. I then came for the YAG procedure and was brought into a little waiting room with hardback school dining room type uncomfortable chairs and then just sat there for an hour and a half till the doctor bothered to show up. For a person with a bad back and severe arthritis it was sheer torture. Then the doctor shows up and I'm finally told immediately before he starts procedure when I'm sitting in the chair that this may cause some more floaters. I already had quite a few in that eye and they were bothering me. This info was imparted by nurse or a technician right before the procedure started and I didn't have a chance to ask anything after sitting waiting so long. I was shocked afterwards by the terrible floaters that I had totally messing up my vision and also now I have fuzziness that I never had noticed before. I feel like this YAG procedure severely reduced my eye sight. Very disappointed that outcomes were not discussed before procedure was scheduled or I would have said no to the YAG as my vision did not seem cloudy to begin with. My eyesight will have to be very very cloudy in my other eye before I have another cataract surgery and will choose a more caring doctor who only seems to want to hurry on to the next patient. read more

The doctor I saw left me feeling uncomfortable. I did not feel I was getting the best of service from him and he, nor his staff, provided me with needed information about my medical concerns. The staff seems mechanical with some patient and over the top with others. How did I know this? Try sitting in the waiting room for a long period of time and you get to observe a lot.
