I don't know if they do that, but we did tell Alejandro, the owner, that we were having some projects done at the house before we could get the unit delivered and he graciously agreed to postpone the delivery and not charge us any storage fees until we got everything sorted out. He was extremely patient and understanding with us and went above and beyond. I cannot recommend this business enough. Their products are modern and top-notch. We called and were quoted approximately $1,600 for the replacement. We then visited the store in person to confirm the price and schedule the installation. A few days later, we received a call offering an upgraded model for an additional $400. We clearly declined and stated that we wanted to stay within the price range we had originally been quoted. We communicated this multiple times throughout the process. After the installation was completed, we were surprised to receive a bill for $2,000 before tax. When we questioned the charge, we were told that a better model had been installed. However, we never agreed to upgrading the system. After expressing our concerns, they reduced the price by $100, but we still ended up paying over $2,000 with tax--significantly more than the original quote. Our main issue is the lack of transparency. We were not informed that a more expensive unit was being installed until after the work was completed. Had we known beforehand, we could have made an informed decision.. We had been considering using Chappy's for a future Diamond Brite resurfacing project, but after this experience, we will be looking elsewhere.
