Over the years we have hired several contractors to accomplish various work on our home. Recently,…read morewe found Patron Construction and asked for a quote to remove the old cracked concrete slab from our patio and replace it with a new, colored one. Robert came and measured the job, asked questions to make certain he understood exactly what we wanted done. He then sent a very fair estimate and we made a date to do the job. His crew, Juan, Brandon and Henry showed up on time and began the work of removing the old concrete. They found that it was a much harder job than planned because the original concrete had been poured in differing thicknesses. Nonetheless, they worked for two days breaking it up, removing it and hauling it away. We were amazed at how hard this crew worked, how courteous and pleasant they were and also how well they worked together. They never stopped except for a very brief lunch break and were right back at it. The chunks were extremely heavy but they lifted them into a wheel barrow and hauled them out to the trailer without one hesitation. We were amazed at how hard this crew worked and made certain that the job was done correctly. They ran into some problems with the patio posts that had sunk a bit over the years so they fixed this problem. They made certain that we were apprised of the progress and inquired if there was anything we needed done differently. The next day, they added Chris and poured the new tinted concrete in very hot weather...never stopping to break and making certain that every moment of attending to the wet concrete was done properly. They stamped a beautiful pattern into portions of it and brushed several other parts. All in all, we were amazed at Robert's crew and the magnificent job they did for us. Also, Robert was reachable at all times during the job and checked in to make certain all was going as we wanted. Thanks very much to Robert and Patron Construction. Recently, my wife and I began a remodel of the exterior of our house. One of the final stages was…read moreto remove the side pathway and back patio area as well as the barbecue area that was ugly looking Concrete and replace it with a new stamped concrete area. There was over 19 yards of space that we wanted to redesign and construct. From the moment John came out he was extremely honest about what it would take to get the job done properly. We initially were drawn to his company because he had done all of the concrete work at our community pool where we live and it was a huge job beautifully done, so we figured if he was good enough to do that he's very qualified to do our house. When we received his initial contract estimate, it was broken down very clearly itemizing every step of the process and the corresponding price. He was also very forthright about items that he could not predict, and what they would cost if those items would be found during the demo process. The team of guys that he has have been with him for over 25 to 35 years, which is a testament to him and his wife in terms of how they treat people. Workers wouldn't stay around if they weren't being treated well like this. The project took about two weeks and those guys were on time every single morning and diligently worked throughout the day like a well oiled machine. Everyone knew their task and they were just get to it. Every evening they would sweep the driveway and make it as neat as they possibly could during the whole construction process. The prep work was immaculate including rerouting the drainage system, creating a solid base of decomposed granite and reinforcing the base with rebar. Again, every single thing that they promised in the initial consultation was done, including covering the stucco that we had recently painted with plastic sheeting to protect it from damage. Finally came the pour and again it really was amazing to watch these guys moving around each other. Very efficiently. The final outcome was beautiful. They still have to just come back in a few days to remove the forms, but my wife and I couldn't be happier with the job that they did. There's no question if it comes to a concrete project there is no other contractor I'll ever consider calling. You just have to be a little patient initially because as you can appreciate a contractor of such quality is not available to start your job tomorrow! He has a backlog of work, and again that confirms your calling the right Contractor. While initially, we were wishing that we didn't have to wait a couple of months for him to start, in retrospect I would say to you that he is absolutely worth waiting for, and I'm sure that the backlog is not always that long. It just happened to be summer and some large community areas needed to be done. But he finds a way to work you into the schedule. This is an A class Contractor and you won't be disappointed.

All I needed was a vanity in my bathroom replaced but the new vanity was a floating vanity to help with mold issues that had been happening on the floor of the previous one. Once the vanity was taken out at 10:30am it was clear that the pipes needed to be moved higher for the floating vanity. That's when I should have called my plumber. That's when he should have suggested that rather than attempting to cut the drywall and move the pipes on his own. After 10 or more trips back and forth to Home Depot and almost 11 hours of work I asked him to leave at around 9:30pm and called my plumber because he could not finish the job enough for us to turn our water back on. I would not recommend this company for any large job and would give zero starts if I could.
