If you like standing in lines this is the place for you. I came with a group of 7 people specifically for go karts. We bought the arm bands that give unlimited rides for 2 hrs because "at 3 rides it pays for itself." We got in 2 rides before time was up. This is not because the place was so busy, it is because karts kept stalling out and they would have to halt traffic on the track. To be clear, people were not crashing, karts were breaking. And then the change over between riders was handled so poorly that overall wait time was ridiculous. I will say that for the two rides I had the track was fun but bring a book for the wait. read more

A very lonely place, but we wanted to have fun. It wasn't that bad, but we have been to better places. We came to El paso, TX for a soccer tournament and my players wanted to go somewhere fun after. We decided to come to this place. It wasn't bad, we had fun. What sucks is the way they make business. I know they want to make as much money as they can, but they need to be straight too. What I mean is that it was around 9pm and they started convincing my players that if they got a bracelet for like $21 they would be able to have unlimited rides. They had water carts, gold karts, mini golf, and bungee jumping. Which sounds good, since all games are expensive anyways. The thing that made it mess up was that at 11pm they already starting closing down machines and rides and they had said 12 midnight. We went to complain and they let us ride one or twice til like 1130pm or so. Which wasn't enough because the only reason we all bought bracelets was because it was going to be about 3 hours of rides not only 2. They should be able to fix that quick or just be straight up when they promote the bracelets. Other than that, it was fun. read more

Falling apart and not maintained. Mini golf course had torn up greens, none of the water features worked and the course was littered with trash. In the game arcade 75% of the games were broken. They would refund but really after the 2nd time I was out of patience. Hands down the most depressing place of this type i have ever seen and I've been to many. It upsets me greatly that I have to allow for even one star for this horrible establishment. If you want a place for your child's party that offers terrible pizza, an overworked staff, safety code violations, broken games, bad mini-golf, and no maintenance whatsoever, Adventure Zone is the place for you! I booked my daughter's party there in June and was not impressed. Our hostess was not as attentive as I would have liked but was nice enough. The facility was a mess and frankly we would not have gone back if my son had not fallen in love with the race track. So, I booked another party, my son's. I. The games. To begin, the place smells awful, I can't imagine they've EVER cleaned the carpets. The games with balls HAD NO BALLS, other games had no tickets or gave out the wrong amount, and 1 out of every 2 games ate your token (this is very annoying as tracking down a staff member to replace a token once or twice is to be expected, but every two minutes?). Parts are MISSING from rides--no wheels on the firetruck, no safety strap on the train. And some are covered in a layer of slime. I asked an UNCONCERNED staff member if there is a "game tech" and she said sure he was in earlier but took off early for the day. II. The jumping balloon. It costs one ticket to ride per party child--get this--the big balloon filled with air is five dollars to jump on!!!!!And it is guarded (yes the bouncing balloon has its very own BOUNCER) by an uncommitted strange man constantly ogling the female members of my party and sucking on his drink. He's not there for SAFETY but to make sure the kids that going in are "on the list"--I'll get into this more later. III. The golf course, dear God, the golf course! Bald spots are bad enough, but the stagnant water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes as we discovered as the sun began to go down. IV. The party room. When we were there in early June we had my daughter's party in the same room. I noticed a large pile of screws on the window sill-low and behold they are still there at the end of September! There are two doors, one that leads to the game room and an emergency fire door that leads out onto the grounds-this door (yes, that's right the FIRE EXIT )was locked. To add injury to stupidity, our hostess tells my brother that this is policy. You heard right, they lock it in order to keep party goers from leaving their party. It's an attempt to manage the birthday schedule. My guests were told they could not go outside until a certain time. This might be funny if it the room weren't located at the back of the building. V. The Party. My hostess (Lulu) was attentive at first but soon I had to go searching for her. She was unable to help me manage my guests and soon she was nowhere to be found at all. It turns out that while she's hosting my party, she's painting faces for another and doing other side jobs as well. WE HAD NO ANNOUNCEMENT, NO EXTRA "FUN PACKAGE", one of guest was bullied, we had to sing happy birthday by and serve cupcakes by ourselves, and we had a huge mix up with an order of tacos. To be clear about the bullying, it happened in the bouncing balloon. My niece who is 6 was attacked by two older girls from the party next door--the bouncer DID NOTHING while they shoved her back and forth, my niece crying and asking for help. HER GRANDMOTHER had to intervene! I told the staff and Ingrid (another party hostess went running over) but the two girls were already back in their party singing happy birthday and the bovine bouncer still stood there sipping on his straw. The tacos were a complete mess. My brother ordered a platter of 30 extra tacos on his own, paid for at the counter. 45 minutes go by and we have no tacos; he goes back to the counter to see what's the hold up and is told by a snotty staff member that they already delivered them. It took another 25 minutes to get it sorted out and finally delivered. The only things Lulu was present for was distributing my ice cream-15 minutes after everyone ate their cupcakes, and making sure we were out of the room on time. VI. Payment and value. When it came time to tally up the check, we had another go around about the separate platter of tacos with staff members questioning different members of my party as to whether we'd paid for them or not- I'm talking two different staff members and three guests interrogated. I'm asked to fill out a survey by a suddenly cheerful Lulu-who looked very nervous when she saw I'd actually filled it out and written extra on the back. Overall, I'd give Lulu a 5-she's upholding her employer's policies and stretched too thin to be effective. Another staff member, Chris, was helpful, but unable to resolve the fun package issue. The facility is a joke-0. I managed a CEC for five years and upheld the company standards. I know how to maintain a game room. The website had no link to leave complaints or advice or even compliments- 0, this place is AWEFUL. read more

Honestly there's not much to do here in El Paso but this gives the community a great family place to go to. I love the tacos!! You MUST have them!! I am glad that after moving here from another border town in California that there is a taste of authenticity in their Mexican food. The go kart course looks beautiful when the sun is setting also. We came specifically for the tacos.. They are horrible and nothing like they used to be.. The staff is rude and the tacos were soaked with grease... Disgusting grease... Not like the grease from Roscoe's Burgers . They staff gave us 3/4 cup chili for 30 tacos... They were upset we asked for more.. The chili sucked.. The staff was rude... I should have done my research, but alas, I made a spur-of-the-moment decision to bring my 7 year old daughter to Adventure Zone. We live way out in the country, hours from El Paso, and I wanted to treat her to a fun time in the big city. Fortunately, the novelty of it all was enough to satisfy her, and I admire how she was able to overlook the terrible state of the establishment. I lack such magnanimity, it seems. It took a conscious effort on my part to mimic her enthusiasm while grumbling silently to myself. That the golf course needs a good reseeding of astroturf was what I noticed first, and I soon discovered the hazards of retrieving golf balls from the holes. This should be done only by an adult who is known to not suffer any ant-bite related allergy. Said adult must be deft and fearless. Do not hit your ball down any of the tubes that are supposed to spit the ball back out onto the green; you will not see it again -- at least not until the tube becomes so backed up with balls that no more will fit. That day will come. The arcade is essentially a graveyard of deceased diversions. Many that have not yet succumbed are sickly, but go undiagnosed and untreated. Beware the hucksters that will lure you in with their flashing lights and promises, only to rob you -- wordlessly, unashamedly -- of your tokens. We did manage to enjoy the bumper boats and the race track (despite the wait). As others have said, everything is there to make this place a lot of family fun... it just has not been maintained. read more

Came for the mini golf as part of a bachelor party. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even granted our request to let us finish up the round of golf after closing hours. The golf course was fun, although it has seen better days. Fortunately, I like a challenge and having irregularities in the course only added to the appeal for me. read more

Highly disappointed. Came with my son to have a bit of fun. For starters the restaurant part was filthy. Trash all over the floor, sticky countertops. Then the staff. I went on Friday afternoon and almost no one was working. It took forever to get service! Then the facilities. The mini golf was a joke. The holes are not labeled and there are no tees. There was trash everywhere and the holes were dirty to be sticking your hand in to retreive your ball. The go carts are worn down it was gross to sit in them. Same with the bumper boats. Looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. So all in all, very very disappointed. Will not be returning. read more

My family and I decided that it would be a fun opportunity to take my niece out to Adventure Zone. Upon getting out of the car we noticed how run down the outside is, the sign was even missing parts. We went inside anyways and were pretty disappointed. The game selection is terrible and half of the game are out of order. The games look like that haven't been cleaned in quiet some time. The games were missing parts like balls you have to use to play. We were not even in there for more than 15 minutes before we decided to leave and try out Bob-Os with is a much better option. read more

This place is pitiful. Mini golf course is in terrible shape. Bathrooms are nasty. Most of the arcade games don't work. I saw a corner in the arcade that had screws and extensions cords accessible to children. read more

I used to have my daughters birthday party here every year since she was one, for two years we got the party manager Sofia something. (Blonde-ish freckles super friendly) she was great we didn't have to worry about a thing her employees were always on track. She took care of everything, my experience was always okay and amazing with her. The next year they told me she was gone, they assured me it'd be the sale so we took a chance, and we'll let's just say it was terrible. I dealt with two managers that day. Ish or something like that was rude and stuck up. He didn't help has no customer service and then we dealt with a blonde girl very bubbly, think her name was Ingrid and she was just awful. She said she used to be the party manager so I immediately thought okay good everything will be taken care of. WRONG. My pizzas were late the hostess didn't cut the cake they were never around, I kept having to go to the front to get taken care of which is something I never had to do with Sofia. I was irritated, the time in the room was over, they sent us off didn't help with the gifts like they used to and was just given a bill and sent off. They didn't even give me the survey they used to. This was literally so awful, they need to bring back Sofia to take care of parties and maybe my friends myself and inlaws will have our parties there again. read more

I was looking forward in spending some time with my grandson who is 2 1/2 yrs old & thought mini golf would be fun for him. I was disappointed when I saw how poorly the course looked. Grass carpets were pretty much torn up & trash visible throughout the place. The standing water around the course looked like a Cesspool & the men's rest room was filthy. When my grandson got hungry we wanted to order a couple of hamburgers but were told they were out. We ended up ordering pizza slices which were not very tasteful at all. My grandson could only eat a couple of bites and even said he didn't like it. I ate what I could but also ended up throwing the rest in the trash. The good thing is because of his age, we did have fun but it's obvious to me that this establishment don't care how the place looks but then again, it seems many places end up this way in the "Sun City" and it seems we just have to settle with what we get here. I would never bring anyone visiting me from outside of El Paso here because I'd be embarrassed. It's sad because it could be a great place & is something El Paso needs in the way of family fun.
