This is a small family run business where the owner, Chris Everly, is quite friendly and outgoing and has very fair and competitive pricing in comparison to other junk removal companies in the area. He held to his pricing/quote even as the job unfolded where my hot tub design was more difficult and time consuming than he had anticipated based on the unique design of my Caldera Spa (Loose blown insulation versus typical solid foam) and the fact that the underlying structure had water logged and rotted over time greatly complicating the job. Throughout this protracted job, Chris and his son were upbeat and positive and at the end of the day honored their quoted price where others would have pressured for additional money. This spoke volumes to me on this mans integrity where you wish this would be the norm but all too often is not. The other key thing I greatly appreciated was the effort they put in to clean up all the loose blown in insulation at the end of the job, which literally was everywhere, where they left me with a clean deck and reminded of a cardinal rule I learned long ago as a young engineer that "you always leave a clean workspace at the end of the day". Nice! Overall I am a big fan of this company and strongly recommend that you consider these guys for any Junk removal project you might have for all the reasons I stated. Today Beck Construction completed my neighbor's kitchen. Only 3 weeks and they even carefully removed all original cabinets so they can be installed elsewhere. Excellent job! 3 weeks ago on June 15, 2026 RenovationsNow finally completed my kitchen remodel that began December 01, 2025. And it took 7 months. SEVEN MONTHS! I kept asking Jeremy the Proj Mgr to come and see what was going on. He NEVER came not once. Look up my old reviews to know my complaints have been ongoing. I have pictures, text and email communications (including those I sent that never received a response). Finally two 'bathroom techs' came to look at my complaints (different from the install techs) and found ALL my complaints were justified and they saw first hand all the issues I was continually complaining about. Jeremy would have seen that I was justified complaining if he would have honored even one of my requests and see the crap that was going on. They claim they couldn't email me or call me because they lost my number some how ( which was in the email). When I finally got it back I saw they broke my wood rail in the process. They offered to take a substantial amount of money off the price and to drop off the piece they broke because they forgot it. A week later and I still don't have the damn piece. These folks have the nerve to say they are too busy to drop the piece off and want ME to come get it. Don't ever use these guys Michigan Sandblasting, Inc.

My experience started out positive. They cleaned up a second piece without charge after I had…read moreasked what the cost would be and what it would look like. The piece that was actually getting sandblasted and powder coated was another story. Quoted $80 for the piece + $20 rush charge. I don't know how much this stuff usually costs, but it seemed ok. (Now that I read the review from Kevin G, and see what he got done for $120, I'd say my small piece was over priced.) They called the next day to say it was done, when the rush meant it wouldn't be done for another 2 days. (Was the extra $20 rush charge actually necessary if it could be done so soon?) I went to pick up the item later that day and it was beyond TERRIBLE. Like a child had done it, but worse. I can't really explain other than to say it looked like it was dipped in very thick powder coating then laid on its side to dry. There were thick drips and clumps all over. Some of it was already chipping and flaking off. (I didn't think powder coating should be able to do that.) I know, I should have taken pictures. I told them it was awful and needed to be redone, thanked them for wasting my time, and I left. In less than 1 hour, I get another call from them saying it was completed and ready for pick up. Ok, let me ask again, if the total job took less than 1 hour, was the extra $20 rush charge actually necessary? On the voicemail left, they still quoted the same price of $100. Seriously, you think I'm going to pay the $100 after the crappy job, wasting my time and gas, and an unnecessary $20 rush charge? Anyway, when I went to pick it up the second time, it was much better, still not as good as I would have expected, but much better. I don't know who took my payment, as no one through this whole ordeal bothered to give their name, but I told him what I was willing to pay for the piece due to the issues mentioned above. He agreed and took my payment.
