AERC is the worst evaluation agency I have ever dealt with. They nearly jeopardized my teaching career. Despite emailing them five times to clarify my requirements, they ignored my concerns. When I finally received the evaluation, it was completely inaccurate--they missed several subjects from my original transcript, and the translation was incorrect. When I tried to address these issues, AERC ignored me, refused to answer phone calls, and failed to respond to emails. They charged me $500 and delivered nothing of value. The supervisor, Martha, was incredibly rude and unprofessional; she hung up on me and refused to fix their mistakes. This company is just absolutely awful. They wasted my time and money and asked for more. The official transcripts come in sealed envelope and once the seal is broken it's not official anymore therefore each time you need an official transcript you have to pay them another $40 plus the cost of shipping. They only accept money order and overcharge for everything. They tried charging me $75 for 1/4/ page translation that I got translated for $15 with another agency online. They are quite pathetic. read more

This company, according to themselves, only follows the American grading system guide and has know idea how different schools or systems work. I came from a British international school out of state and the moment I got here, my nightmare has begun. First off I didn't know that they're only accepting paper document of my transcript and I had to ask my previous school to ship it over across country. Not only does that take time and money, the fact that the results aerc gave out was petrifying. They claimed to 'indicate English as a second language only if the courses were taken from a foreign country', which in this case it was taken in another country but fully taught in English. They basically took off 5 credits for most of my subjects and some for 0 at all. I later asked my previous school to send out a clarification email but clearly aerc isn't taking any explanations, even through official. I couldn't believe how stubborn this company is and the attitude they gave out was just infuriating. I also know a lot of classmates who had to go through the same procedure and received even less credits than i did, I don't know why this company hasn't got taken down yet as it is basically fooling around with your credits and destroying your college applying opportunity. Aerc has no idea what they're doing and not to mention, the fee is expensive. For those who plan on moving schools that require this transcript analyzing service, please reconsider your choice as it would highly affect your pathway in your high-school life. This is the worst customer service I have ever had in the United States. I hope future clients read this before getting ripped off. Masters graduate from the Sorbonne University from France, I sent them my documents to be TRANSLATED and EVALUATED Spring of 2018. AERC charges a lot more for their translation services, but I sent in my docs anyway to be translated and evaluated as I wanted AERC to do it all for me in one shop. After translating my docs, they told me there is a problem with my credits and they cannot evaluate my diploma. I went my way and called Sorbonne University directly and they confirmed the credits are correct and I transferred that information to AERC. AERC told me they need the confirmation in writing. I provided contact information and asked them to contact Sorbonne directly. I sent them explanation from official government websites about ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). I contacted an ATA certified translator in California to confirm the credits are correct. They told me again they will not proceed with evaluating my diploma. At this point, I wanted my money back for the translation services and evaluation services. I paid $995 for the translation ONLY because I knew I was getting my evaluation, otherwise I would pay much cheaper to a ATA translator directly. I wanted all my documents to be safe in one shop that's why I requested translation and evaluation services. NOWHERE in the agreement did it state that they would charge me the Translation fee EVEN IF THEY CANNOT EVALUATE. I contacted AERC's director to explain my situation. She was very rude on the phone with me and just wanted to get rid of me. Conclusion: She offered to send back all my originals, translation and $305 for the evaluation fee. When I explained to her that I am requesting the translation fee or at least half of it, SHE JUST IGNORED my request. I will contact CTC California Teaching Credentialing - Foreign Evaluation as THIS COMPANY NOT ONLY DOES NOT HOW TO EVALUATE FOREIGN WIDELY KNOWN DIPLOMAS FROM THE SORBONNE BUT ALSO RIPS CUSTOMERS OFF. i like that this establishment has a physical office and people you can actually visit or talk to on the phone. a few NACES and AICES accredited evaluation companies are unreachable and kind of scary to deal wth. i just dropped off my transcripts, personal check, and will be following up in 4-5 weeks. ill update my review once its all done, but so far so good! :D read more

I pay for rush service but its almost the same i wait almost a month & it almost lost my original papers , the front desk in their office said i will recieve a txt message once it delivered thats why i pay extra for it, but i was worried coz its almost a month im waiting, & when i call them they give me a wrong tracking number , i went to post office but that tracking no is not exist,. So i try to explain to the post office mamager what happen, & he help me, that maybe try to omit some numbers coz the girl in the AERC when i call them she gave me a long tracking no. Few months ago, I contacted AERC for an evaluation of my European transcripts. They asked me to get my transcripts translated by a certified ATA translator (this cost $800 because transcripts from my country have numerous pages). Once the translation was done and paid, I was told by AERC that they finally can not process the evaluation of my certificate even though I provided everything they asked, because they didn't have at their office any database about it (which is an usual European university diploma). I had to find another evaluation service on last minute, this one just asked about the translation to be accurate, but not necessarily by a certified translator (too bad I had already paid $800 for it). Furthermore I had to pay fast-service fees for the second evaluation service because AERC made me waste much time so that I was getting close to the application deadline for the American university. Bad experience with AERC. I hope that other customers are more lucky. read more

I paid almost $300 dollars to have my high school transcript evaluated. They said they sent the evaluation reports to my school twice but my school never received it. I paid $15 for the third copy and turned it in to my school office by myself. That was how I finally ended my nightmare. read more

Very poor service, very poor customer care and people sounded like they're don't know what they're doing! They claimed to finish the evaluation in three weeks, paid the fee in advance. They claimed to call clients when evaluation is done but they don't. Until I called them today and waited on the phone for than 20 minutes because they could not find my son's document. They asked to call me back because they need more time to trace the record, but ended up calling my son and claimed that they left message to my son's voicemail that the documents were ready to pick up last August 7. My son didn't received any calls or any voice mail. This company lied to their client to hide their shortcomings. I came here because it was on a list of recommended places that Cal Poly Pomona gave me, anyways, I needed an equivalency for my bachelors, everything was going well until this older lady came out, she saw my degree and I kid you not she said it was fake and threw it on one of the girls desks, asking me if my University from my country was an accredited one, she said "it must be on the the book", I said ok, "can you check the book then? That's why I'm here anyways" she kept making excuses, basically she denied me services, this is the first time I have felt discrimination and incompetence in this country, I left and went to someone else on the list, it was further away from Cal Poly but it was worth it, now i have all my papers sorted out and going to school, STAY AWAY from this racist place. This place has the worst customer service! The few woman that work there have a very rude attitude. They charged me extra for getting the service done as "rush" and it took almost 2 weeks! I mailed my papers with express and a tracking so I knew it was delivered the next day and I called next day to make sure they just lied and said they did not receive it even though it clearly said in UPS tracking that it was delivered. This place is the worst and it makes complete sense when I read all the other 1 star reviews! All they do is give u difficult time and charge you extra for the most simple stuff for no reason. Funny part is that when they see you need your papers rushed and soon as possible they make the process slow as if they do it on purpose and they don't care how much your situation is time critical They are super slow, irresponsible, careless and not reliable! Rude amd no customer service. I went today. I had my transcripts translated with stamps of the school, Ministryof Edut, and Judiciary .Two ladies said its ok. The older lady came and start talking too rude .She had so much hate of doin her job. . She said The Copy is not clear. I gave her another clear copy then she started find something else. She said where is the school' stamp. I showed her. She said no it should be in Red on the translation.I showed her the blue stamp from my school on the translation. She told me they made it up. Such a rude person. She didn't take my application since the stamp was not red. I had all my documents and told her this is what the Ministry of Education gave it to me and there was also the Judiciary stamp as well. She kept saying tgat " Where is the Red stamp"I Drove 40 miles going and 40 miles going back to get this attitude. I gave my documents to IERF and they accepted. Such a wasting time. read more
