Very poor Customer service. The receptionist Mariana is overwhelmed and you can sense her frustration over the phone. They take appointments and cannot complete them. Then she gets mad if you ask her to consider your circumstances. She does not know me but got upset and said I had an attitude when i requested to speak to someone else. They text me to confirm for my appointment and then less than 30mins later they canceled my appointment via text. I waited a week for an appointment. They indicated they have emergencies coming in and those take priority. Customer concerns are not valued and they do not properly know how to manage their schedules. Hiring more techs during peak season would make more sense than telling customers you are understaffed and their needs are not a priority. They asked the appointment to be moved a week with no guarantees as to if it would actually be serviced then. If you have other options in your area go with a more professional company. read more

Technicians overstate time of visit. Services are expensive compared to peers. Problems are rarely resolved with repairs. Almost always the recommendation is changing the whole PTAC unit. The company also offers annual maintenance, which does no good. They claim PTAC lifespan will be extended if well-maintained. We have them installed our PTAC, and come over for maintenance. Yet, the PTAC failed completely only 5 years after installation. read more

Wanted to share TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience we had with AEROMARK....we have an annual contract with them and this time when they came I mentioned them about a probable issue which our NEST thermostat has been alarming us about.... They said there was an issue with the part and ordered it / installed it on Wed.. suddenly starting Friday night the heat went off.. Inspite of me calling they didn't show up until Monday and then took 2 days to figure out that issue wasn't with the original part they replaced and now they need to order a new part.. charge me again for this part now... And me being with a kid and without heat for almost 5 days , ISSUE has still not been RESOLVED.. and not to mention extremely non courteous people in management..Has been a nightmare to be able to speak to manager as well.. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALLLLLL read more

Frank came to look at my unit and within minutes he was able to diagnose the problem. He was very nice, professional and efficient. The kind of worker you feel comfortable having in your house. I dealt with several heating companies over the years, a lot of them are very prompt to want to replace the entire unit when the work required is a bit complicated or inconvenient. My AC stopped functioning the hottest weekend of the year. Called Aeromark based on a recommendation. When scheduling an appointment, they asked what was wrong, advised what could be wrong without actually coming in. Told them I wanted someone ASAP. They advised waiting until work hours if I could as it would reduce the bill. Frank showed up timely and professionally. He was in and out with a complete service in less than one hour. They listen to your HVAC issues and present a logical and cost-effective solution all while not talking down to you. They truly work with you. Quite possibly the worst customer service and technical skills for a company requiring both if not at least the latter. So our AC was struggling to cool down our apartment during the hottest weekend of the summer. The cost is $175 just to get a tech out to take a look at what the problem is a bit high, but we decided to go with it because a few people in our building use them. He comes in and pokes at our AC to check power output and after 30 minutes determines there is a decrease in the power output. Next mentions he does not know how to work on a unit where is a Nest is installed...we are in the 21st century where most households have a NEST!!!! How do you employ someone that does not know their way around servicing a unit hooked up to a NEST....should of have been a red flag anyways he insists that the issue is the circuit board and he would order it. Gave us the model # etc. and say the office will call tomorrow with the quoted price it should be around $235. I look up the board and found it for under $150 beside the point the next day I wait and finally in the afternoon I have to call to find out what the quote is only to find out that the cost will now be $285 for that same board. I question their approach I understand they need to make a margin profit however I am not ok with almost 100% margin when repair time again will cost $175 per hour so I dispute this with them and they agree to go with the original $235. He comes by two days later changes out the circuit board in an hour and unplugs the NEST over rides it to check the power output and sees that the power output is fine. He is prepared to leave my wife stops him (I was at work) to say well you need to see if it continues to work and actually cool down the apt not to mention you unhooked the nest thermostat. He retorts oh your system is not compatible with the nest - (Then how do other people in our building with the same exact system have working NESTS!!!) I could install a new thermostat but that will take more time and cost you about $200!! As a service provider if you do not know something say that and leave do not proceed to make assumptions and fix non existent problems to fleece the customer for money!! THIS IS ROBBERY and an ERRORS AND OMISSION lawsuit waiting to happen. Almost $700 paid to this company and they didn't even fix the problem!!! As a metaphor - I went to them to tell them my pizza has rotted cheese on it and I can't eat it. They took off the cheese put some new sauce on it and said the cheese is not compatible you owe me $700 for not fixing your problem thanks. I come home and I am furious so I contact nest to see if they have any local experienced reps - I call that company and they diagnose it over the phone in 20 minutes that the system just needs a common wire to support charging the nest and the system separately this is a frequent issue and the circuit board is not a problem. This company comes the next morning adds the common wire plugs it in and everything is was good to go in 15 minutes running fine and only charged $200 TOTAL. Also mentioned the circuit board doesn't look like its new...when its new it tends to stick out. Anyways I called the service number to tell them what happened and how they sent someone not knowledgeable enough to fix a problem that was fixed in 20 minutes and instead performed services that were not needed I wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves The service manager indicated he would call me back regarding a credit and the whole time was rude about it....that was 2 and a half weeks ago. I have receipts to prove everything. Save yourself the headache and money go somewhere else. read more

Terrible experience. First of all, the company called us to let us know they won't be able to come the day of the scheduled appointment because of a death in the family and rescheduled to the next day. That was pretty annoying as my husband had taken time off and had to take more time off for the next day. The technician arrived about 45 minutes late (without warning, we had to call the office several times to make sure he was going to come this time), parked about 2 blocks away although there was a free parking spot right downstairs, and kept on going back and forth to his truck, obviously trying to extend the time as much as possible. He explained that he was working on a large building the day before, so apparently the office screwed up their own schedule, and just did not want to apologize for it. All the technician did was to take the temperature of the vents and plug in his control tools. He damaged part of the ceiling paint while taping the instruments and now there are 2 black marks that we can't manage to clean. At the end, he went back to his truck again to get the coolant bottle, that took about 15 minutes, and once back, he finally decided to not pour any into our system (which obviously needs it as the temperature stays at 80 degres after several hours of cooling). As the exhaust vent is located on the balcony of our neighbors that were not home yet, he said he would need to clean this first. He said we could do it (only good tip he gave) and explained and we did it the same night. But our AC is still not working. We tried to call back the next few days but no one answered. In addition to be super expensive, they also charged us more than what was on the bill, and after a week were able to call to get the extra money back. They said they won't be able to come in to put the coolant in for free, so we decided this company was the least professional and friendly that we ever dealt with, and we'd better let other potential customers know. read more
