Eventually, I found what I believed were the shrimp from the ad, but they weren't labeled in the freezer section. To make matters more confusing, the online ad clearly advertised them as colossal shrimp, but the bag I picked up didn't actually say "colossal shrimp" anywhere on the packaging. Because of that, I wasn't confident I had the correct product. Then came checkout. There was only one register open, so the line had grown pretty long. Another cashier opened a register and called for the next customer in line to come over. Before those of us who had been waiting could move, a customer from farther back in line rushed over and cut in front of everyone. It was frustrating because the cashier saw what happened but didn't correct it. After finishing that customer's transaction, he apologized to those of us who had been waiting, which I was nice but I felt the situation should have been addressed before the customer was checked out. Before paying, I showed the cashier the online ad to make sure I had picked up the correct shrimp since nothing was labeled. And then he kinda had a slight attitude that I inquired about it as well. I felt like I would never inquired about it if it was properly labeled in the aisle. I also briefly thought the shrimp had rung up for about $37 per bag, but it turned out I had misread the screen the total was for two bags, so the sale price was correct. What should have been a quick trip to pick up two bags of shrimp turned into a frustrating experience. Between the lack of assistance from the employee, the confusion over the product labeling, and the way the checkout line was handled, the visit just wasn't enjoyable. With both, a unexperienced office person answered and both could not give me the estimate I was looking for. Both required a technician to physically check the unit at a cost. It seemed I had no choice but make an appointment with each. Frustrated on knowing I'm going to be paying someone for not fixing the furnace, I contacted Adams Heating to see what they had to offer. Right away, I got a response from the owner in directing me to his tech (Josh). After discussing my situation with him, I cancelled my previous two appointments and made one with Adams. What was the difference??? Simply put ...Integrity and old school values! Josh was honest in his communication and gave me what I exactly wanted, that of an estimate. The problem turned out to be the capacitor and was replaced quickly at a very reasonable price. Throughout the replacement, Josh gave me an quick oversite of the furnace itself which was educating. Even though they didn't perform that work themselves, they referred me to one of their installers and, in the process, saved me money by bypassing the markup they could have charged. That level of honesty is pretty rare. They could easily have kept the work in-house or added a layer of profit, but instead they focused on what was best for me as the customer. They also followed up several times by email to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the outcome. Great customer service and a company that clearly values long-term relationships over short-term profit. Highly recommended.

The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. We got behind a customer who was just finishing up when Jaime T (per our receipt) came over and got us stating there was no wait in his line. I handed Jaime our reusable bags who then stated "Just put those at the back of the check stand". At that point I told Jaime I would be right back, I was going to grab a case of water. When I returned 2 minutes later Jaime was 3/4 done with the checkout however I noticed my spouse was starting to bag our own items, and not the way TJ team members normally bag purchases (neatly with maximizing the space in the bags). We were checking out at 11:20, the other open check stands had one or no customers in them and Jaime had no one behind us at his checkout. My spouse stated it wasn't a big deal but when you have one TJ team member not doing what you have come to expect it is disappointing.
