The washing machine shorted out during the very first load we ran (tripped the breaker when switching from wash to spin). We had an electrician come out and evaluate the electrical, which he said was fine, but upgraded the circuit just to be sure. The brand new washing machine is still shorting out. Queen City says it's not our problem - take it up with Speed Queen. We did that, and even the Speed Queen rep said that if a problem occurs within the first 30 days the supplier (Queen City) should make it right. Beware of purchasing anything from this place - they will not stand by the (very expensive) products they sell.

I was looking to ask questions and look around. The younger guy with the great hair, long and wavy helped me both times I have been here. His name evades me but I wouldn't work with anyone else if I went back. He literally knows the details about every product in the store. Like knows. Not faking it. Knows. Ask him a question - he knows. If he doesn't - he will go find out. We talked specs, I was sensitive cause I was buying appliances again after mine died and wanted to try something different. We measured, chatted about deals, compared prices, and stewed. They let us do our thing. We purchased and had delivery a few days later. Delivery crew was awesome too. I would recommend this place to anyone for appliances or mattresses. Exactly the experience I was looking for and the prices were super competitive. Don't buy without at least looking here too.

The final straw has been a piece sitting in Greensboro for several weeks (while we've been waiting for 3 months for it). It never occurred to Fergusons in spite of weekly calls, inquiries etc. to drive 19 minutes and get the piece from their Greensboro location. Today, after talking to them, they still did not offer to get the piece or ship it to us. I drove over there myself and got it. 19 minutes for a piece they've been sitting on for weeks. Not sure where to begin. They are very nice at the beginning; they will disappear after that. Beware.

The Ferguson employee attempted to find a match on a chart that was tapped to the counter but was unsuccessful. He took the Shower Stem to a back room with a last ditch effort to find a match but couldn't. He returned the Shower Stem back to me, I thanked him for his efforts and left the store. When I arrived at my next plumbing store, at that time is when I saw that the Stem Washer Holder had been badly damaged and bent. That was not the condition of the Stem Washer Holder when I gave the Shower Stem to the Ferguson employee to find a replacement. If the employee's goal was for me to never return to Ferguson Plumbing Supply because of poor, destructive and deceptive customer service, "He Won."

The showroom here is nicely outfitted with many product lines on display for one to see and touch in person. However, there has never been any effort to offer competitive prices. I have always and I mean ALWAYS been able to find a significantly lower price on identical inventory. I have given the Ferguson rep detailed price quotes and asked for matching numbers with no accommodation offered. IMO if you don't care that you are paying 25% more for identical fixtures give this business your patronage. Otherwise there are better options easily found.

We were so frustrated at the big box stores and their lack of knowledge and professionalism. We purchased a new dishwasher from Bobby Teague Appliances and from the start they were very informative. They also explained why the new design of dishwashers are difficult to fit into older homes' existing cabinets. I measured carefully, but our new dishwasher was a very tight fit. The installer, Brian Littlejohn, was a true professional and figured out how to make the install work in our older cabinets. Thank you Bobby Teague Appliances and Brian!!
