Just had an IPL done and I have mixed feelings. I have a lot of freckles, always have had, which I like. However, I hate my big age spots, which are what I wanted treated. You're told to expect darkening of the areas for a while until they flake off. Today, the morning after, I'm seeing the darker spots but unfortunately they're all on my freckles and it appears as though my age spots went untouched. Not one age spot shows any darkening. Leslie was very nice and has great reviews everywhere I looked....hence I chose her office. I was told to expect the appt to take about an hour but was in and out in 30 minutes..including chat time...and I have a lot of sun damage/age spots. Of course as I was getting my purse she mentioned that if I call back within two weeks I can get a buy one get one free deal. I'm now wondering if using a Groupon means you get a less than acceptable appt because you paid less? I would like to think not but I have to ask. I guess this is what I get for giving into vanity. read more

My experience with Dr. Lopez was excellent!! Before my TT procedure I did a lot of research and started following a Tummy Tuck FB group where I learned a lot different situations people have gone through from not being followed up on to their incisions getting very infected, etc. When I found Dr. Lopez I knew very quickly that she was the Dr. I wanted to go with and I am so glad I did! She comforted me on the day of my procedure because I was nervous, she followed up on me so closely by seeing me often after my procedure and checking in on me. I am very happy with my results and I am not even all the way done healing since I still get a little swollen at times, which is 100% normal. I have been coming to see Leslie for five years since I moved here from California. I get Microdermabrasions and also IPL. I also got hair removal for my face and chin last year. I recently had a photo-facial I purchased from Groupon. I was a bit nervous cause it was my first photo-facial, but felt much more at ease when I met the tech. I asked her what to expect, she did a great job explaining to me. I also asked her if the photo facial would get rid of some ugly broken vessels on my face. She was nice enough to spend some extra time focusing on them. She was absolutely wonderful! I have already noticed a huge difference and I'm just a couple days out. In regards to another review I want to say I have had other laser procedures such as hair removal and skin resurfacing at other spas. They all used ultrasound gel and disposable wood tongue blades to remove the gel. I'm not sure what is so awful about using Kirkland wipes for a quick face wipe, I'm just happy everything is sanitary and my face looks great! I see more of a difference with this one treatment than I did after 3 laser resurfacing treatments! read more

I purchased the Triniti skin series. IPL Photo Facial, ReFirme and Matrix RF for skin clarity, skin tightening and wrinkle reduction. I'm super happy with the results and with my technician Leslie Deng. Leslie is a wealth of information, she answered all my questions, she was thorough, professional, and personable. I went to a Esthetician once a month for over 7 years @ $75.00 - $125.00 a visit. I have age spots on the side of my face that I was told she could get get rid of. At the rate we were going, it was going to take the rest of my life. It only took one IPL treatment and all these spots have disappeared. My skin looks clearer than it has in a very long time. Like many on here, I found out about this place because I had a groupon. This is not the first medi spa I have been to, but it may be the last! The technician here is amazing! She is skilled, funny, nice and she has a wealth of knowledge that she is not afraid to use. This is by far the best skin treatment I have ever had. No, it's not super fancy, but maybe the other spas cover their lack of skill up with material fluff in the lobby. I'll take results over a Buddha fountain and new age music any day! read more

I recently returned to Aesthetic Laser Center and was reminded just how great they are at doing what they do. I originally came in for the first time in 2016 for laser hair removal in the bikini area. It only took a few visits to completely eradicate the hair. I didn't think about hair removal again until last summer when I realized I needed chin and lip and back of the leg treatments. I returned to ALC and worked with Leslie again. This time I booked a series as I knew I would need more treatments. The deals/specials that are offered are very good, significantly reducing the cost over the long run. They are good for a year or until the problem area is fixed. I just had my third treatment and couldn't be happier. I'm now considering Coolsculpting, as I trust ALC and Leslie, implicitly. read more

I have had three photo-facials at Oregon Cosmetic Laser. I am extremely happy with the results. After my first treatment, dark spots on my face grew slightly darker, scabbed up, and then fell off. The number of broken blood vessels (mainly around my nose) decreased. I saw the same results with each subsequent treatment, just on a lesser scale. The technician is experienced, listens to you and wants you to have the best results possible! - No prolonged redness (my face looked normal upon leaving the office) - No irritation - No zits - No welts (which I've heard can happen with an inexperienced office) - No red marks Their service is great. I missed an appointment and it was no problem to reschedule. They are on time and perform the procedures quickly and efficiently. They provide honest and helpful consultations and do not attempt to up-sell you on services that won't work or are unnecessary for you. As others have said, it's not fancy, but you get great results and no unwanted side-effects. I will continue going and expand on the types of services they provide. read more

I've been coming here for at least 8 years for IPL treaments, usually about every year to year-and-a-half. Leslie does a great job and I feel like the prices are fair. She never tries to up-sell me on anything else or put on the hard sell for expensive skin products that are not necessary. Before I started having IPL, my skin was very blotchy and I had red spots and veins on my cheeks, nose, forehead and neck (it's hereditary); now my skin looks really great (for a 57-year-old guy!). It's kind of a no-frills operation, so if you're looking for a fancy, expensive spa-type environment, this is probably not the place for you... but if you just want the treatments done affordably and correctly, this is the place! read more

Just had the IPL Full Face done today. I used a Groupon for $99, and it was a great value. While I wasn't a huge fan of the lobby, Leslie immediately put me at ease. She has been performing laser procedures since 2004, and was very knowledgeable. She explained everything she was doing (and why), which wasn't necessary since I have had IPL several times before. It looks like she got all of the brown spots AND the broken capillaries, so I am psyched. I would recommend this to my friends. (The review from Coco N. is kind of crazy and should be removed. So this is not a fancy spa. The lobby is not impressive. What is completely impressive is the photo facial. i have had capillary treatment many times in the past and am always disappointed with the amount of time they spend and the lack of results. Leslie did an amazing job on my full face. She got the capillaries and the sun spots. It's a remarkable improvement, so much so that I went back for a second time. I grew up in California surfing so I have plenty of sun spots. Yes, she uses wooden sticks, ultrasound gel and wipes to clean off the gel. I use all these in a medical clinic and no one scoffs there. And I put the sticks in peoples mouths :) Go to Leslie. You won't be disappointed. read more

I LOVED my microdermabrasion and photo-facial experience with technician Leslie Deng. She was methodical, thorough, professional, personable and is an overall fabulous cosmetic specialist. I love the results I've received and will be returning to her for future treatments. Located conveniently off SE99th the inconspicuous med spa has ample parking. Once inside the building the ambiance is quiet, clean and safe. After minimal paperwork technician Leslie Deng led me into a room with a very comfortable table for my microdermabrasion treatment. She cleansed my skin thoroughly before beginning the procedure. She listened and paid special attention to areas on my face that are prone to adult acne. Calming music played on as she worked her soothing magic with wonderful smelling cleansers, toners, and gels post procedure. I left feeling like a million dollars and my face never felt cleaner-- my pores felt like they were breathing for the very first time. I've had microdermabrasion before but something about her technique was superior to my other experiences. I returned a few weeks later for my photo-facial and was fortunate enough to have Leslie again. The procedure of a photo-facial is not without a little bit of discomfort. She removed all my makeup with a clean, hypoallergenic wipe, which I appreciate because I am prone to breakouts (read above), covered my eyes completely with cotton before placing protective eye-wear over my eyes, slathered on industry-standard ultra sound gel and went to work. As the procedure progressed she entertained me with interesting stories, talking me through an otherwise uncomfortable experience; her warmth and conversation sufficiently distracted me. Throughout my process I was never instructed to remove my protective eye wear. Due to my own experience with Oregon Cosmetic Laser I have a very hard time believing that there was a lapse in safety or professionalism. I DEFINITELY recommend Oregon Cosmetic Laser for cosmetic med-spa needs and will be returning to have my permanent makeup touched up soon. read more

I got a groupon for an IPL and I have to say the laser actually worked better than many of the lasers I have tried. However, there were large gaps between the applications so my face has zebra stripes. You can VERY clearly see huge rectangular spots on my face from the laser and gaps between where it was not treated. I look worse than before. It is embarrassing because I have to explain it to people. It kind of looks like tire tracks across my face. However, the rectangular areas that were treated do look much better. It is just too bad that there are so many gaps between them. read more

I've been going to Oregon Cosmetic Laser for a while now and I have always had a great experience at every visit. Leslie is very nice and very knowledgeable about all of the procedures I've had done and Jodi is so sweet, she remembered my name from my very second visit. The spa is very clean and has a relaxing atmosphere, there is even a tea selection and/or water for you if you come early, although I have never had to wait at all for my appointments, even if I am a little early. I've had amazing results with the laser hair removal treatments and am so happy I chose to come to Oregon Cosmetic Laser for them. I would definitely recommend them for any of the services they offer. I read the negative review by a woman who came in for a photofacial and I cant believe someone could be so ignorant as to post comments that clearly shows a lack of knowledge. Calling tongue depressors "popsicle sticks", calling goggles specifically designed for the machine that was being used on her "tanning goggles", then calling the topical gel specifically designed for use with the same machine "goo" and being disgusted by baby wipes? I had the IPL laser done a few days ago. Specifically for a broken capillary on my cheek and a few sun spots above my jaw line. I noticed the red spot almost three years ago and thought it would go away- turns out a broken capillary only gets bigger I was nervous to have a laser done on my face. This literally took less than 5 minutes for a spot treatment and I felt small sting like a rubber band on my face. Quick and painless really! Excited to see my results, some of which I can already see! Leslie asked if I would also like to the laser tiny spider veins, on the sides of my nostrils(not that noticeable, I usually cover with makeup). I did laser the sides of my nose and the veins disappeared immediately. I did my research beforehand and read reviews from multiple laser centers before choosing Aesthetic Laser. I noticed some past clients mentioned that they lost some freckles. If you're trying to get rid of brown and red spots, you will obviously loose your brown freckles or the coloring of your moles. Which is why I chose to "spot treat" first and see how my skin reacts to the laser. The red, brown, or freckled spots turn a darker color, before they go away. The spider veins however, disappeared immediately(for me)! Thank you Leslie and front desk, for the great consultation and service. I am already planning to come back and have my whole face done. I'm willing to loose a few freckles to do it :-) read more

Groupon led me to a photo facial at Oregon Cosmetic Laser. I had a hard time at first as my schedule and then bronchitis kept me rescheduling with them. They were so nice and so patient with the changes that I knew I'd be comfortable there. And I was. Leslie explained exactly what I would experience so that I could prepare myself and relax during the procedure, which I did. I was amazed! So many of my facial spots have disappeared or diminished and the ugly little veins I had around my nose are all but gone now. Bless her!
