I saw Daniel Cooper MD in December 2024, and I'm incredibly grateful for his care. Seeing a urologist at my age was very scary, but he made me feel comfortable, listened to, and reassured the entire time. He was honest, straightforward, and calming, and when I became emotional, he took the time to make sure I was okay instead of rushing out. He treated me with kindness and respect and never made me feel judged. I truly feel God placed him in my path during a very difficult time in my life. 0 stars. Their phone line almost never works. When it does work they don't answer. When they do answer they ask you questions about your symptoms and say they will give a message to a provider and will call back. They do not call back. When I call back days later (trying to be patient and polite) they don't believe me saying I never left a message or they never got a message. Then they never have appts available. The nurse speaks so rudely and gets defensive. I have the phone record to prove my calls she said I must be calling before 8am if the line won't ring, my call log clearly shows 8:00 and 8:01 and 8:02 and so on I can try this for days with it never ringing just an automated message that doesn't connect. Even for days calling at 11am and 1pm on weekdays. I wish I recorded my call Monday when their representative asked my symptoms and said a message would be sent and I'd receive a call back, I have two long call logs that day. I also asked for my (urgent) prescription to be sent to a CVS instead of Walmart and they never did or wrote it down even though she asked me for the address and phone number and spelled it back. They take forever for prescription refills, I mean forever. I've been dealing with them for about 8mos. Honestly the worst thing and last straw for me today was the snarky rude person on the phone that acted like it's not her problem that their phone person never gave her my message and implied that the conversation never happened. Now they have promised to call me back today to schedule the next available appt. I doubt it will ever happen. And if I call back to say hey nobody called? They will say "oOh nOt My FaUlT i NeVeR gOt A mEsSaGe To" I've gone to a lot of Dr offices, this place takes the cake in the WORST. Save yourself the hassle, go somewhere else. read more

Everyone is correct. This place is terrible. They refuse to answer the phone, they will not give you your test results they make it clear that YOU ARE AN ANNOYANCE to them, but don't be surprised if the providers tell you how much money they make. I even emailed the honor health patient advocate and still crickets. RUN.... do not walk.... RUN away from this place. I have been a patient of Dr. Borhan for over 6 years. He is the consummate doctor that one pictures from years of experience and compassion for his patients. Being a cancer victim as well, Dr. Borhan works closely with my oncologist to assure me that he has my situation in mind every step of the way. Overall very disappointed with my experience. I felt like Dr. Cooper and Affiliated Urologists were more interested in doing biopsies than actually treating me and addressing my concerns with regard to my particular situation. Other red flags included Dr. Cooper's office not getting back to me for over two weeks when I had questions about my procedure and I never heard back from his Nurse Practitioner regarding an email I sent her. Decided to get a second opinion at the Mayo Clinic and now feel like I have a dedicated care team who is genuinely looking out for my best interests. And they recommended I don't get another biopsy at this time after they reviewed my most recent MRI test results with the one I had taken a year ago in Chicago. And the kicker? Most unprofessional office staff I have ever encountered. They failed to call me to state my appointment was cancelled. I showed up to my appointment only to find out they didn't order the medication needed. Office staff rescheduled my appointment for two weeks. On the day of the newly rescheduled appt. I called ahead to make sure they had the medication. I was put on hold for 37 minutes. They finally answered and stated they didn't have the medication yet and apologized that this was the second time they didn't call to let me know the appointment was once again canceled. Office staff stated they would make the appointment a priority and call me that same day or the next day to reschedule a third time. They never called back. I called their office a week later and was put on hold for 51 minutes. They now claim they will make it a priority and call me back to reschedule again. I just can't get over how unprofessional their scheduling department is. I've had no problems with the doctors. The office staff, however, can't order medication, can't answer the phone under 30 plus minutes, and fail to call patients ahead of time if appointment needs to be rescheduled. read more

I saw Dr Dan Jaffe 2x once at Tatum other on central . Had a procedure scheduled for 6/19/25 requiring an anesthesiologist to put me out . I was NOT given any info prior to procedure , no meds given and told because of poor communication on office staff I would B in pain if only given laughing gas but nothing else could B done and best to not do procedure .I walked out . People yelling in office and no communication AVOID this practice as if one needed help good luck getting help after a procedure if complications arise . read more

I had an appointment last Wednesday and am STILL (5 days later) waiting to have a prescription sent to my pharmacist from that appointment. I have called the number attached to this office 4 times now and have not had a single helpful interaction as they use a middleman call center to facilitate incoming calls, and outside of reaching out the provider (who has been completely unresponsive) they have no recourse to correct my issue. I am beyond irritated by the lack of professionalism and the poor customer service processes this practice has in place. If you are considering a urologist, I would STRONGLY recommend avoiding this practice at all costs. read more

Very friendly and welcoming front desk staff! Very clean and comfortable waiting room. Magazines and water etc...well decorated - easy office to find. Here for the first time and very impressed so far!. Dr. Bohran's bedside manners are impeccable and he is very welcoming and friendly and also very thorough in his explanations. Kidney stones are absolutely no fun at all, and I don't wish those upon anyone! They were very busy on a day like today and apologized for the long wait times and everyone conducted themselves very kindly and professionally and with a smile which are the reasons why I recommend this office very highly and without any hesitation! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Beyond ticked off by these incompetent people. I have been trying for months to get an appointment scheduled and their scheduling system was down. Finally I get an appointment scheduled. I show up 2 weeks later for the appointment and the check in lady tells me my insurance is inactive. I called insurance right there on the spot and they verified it was not inactive and is definitely ACTIVE. I asked the check in lady to call my insurance and she refused. Told me to kick rocks and have a nice day. Oh and said "is there anything ELSE I can help you with :)" Unbelievable. Truly big corporate bashing your head against the wall to the maximum. I have an appointment rescheduled and have tried calling their billing department but sit on hold for hours without getting through to anyone so I will probably have to cancel the appointment or else I'll show up and the SAME THING WILL HAPPEN AGAIN!!! read more

I normally have no issues at all with this office. I have had excellent service until my last visit which is why I'm writing this review. I had a TeleMedicine follow up appointment after a recent surgery and was expecting to talk to one of the male PAs since I needed to discuss a rather alarming sudden loss of sexual function. I was disappointed when I learned that I would be seen by a female PA as I feel much more comfortable having these discussions with a male. I decided to go ahead and tell her what was (or in my case wasn't) happening. After baring my soul and giving a detailed and somewhat embarrassing account of my issue she said "I have no idea why that's happening. Maybe it's just because you're old" (I'm 55) She scheduled some blood tests and I have a follow-up next month which I have confirmed will be with a male provider. Here's some advice... if you're not comfortable discussing male sexual dysfunction maybe don't work in a urology clinic. read more

They treated me like a number. I called twice today to speak with my Doctor or his assistant. Still waiting. As a patient, it would be nice to hear from someone. BEWARE Dr. Cooper and his team ( Arizona Oncology Assoc.) charge patients with medical insurance double the price vs those who do not have the insurance. When I asked Cigna to see the prices agreed upon between Dr. Cooper and Cigna or to speak with someone from CIgna who negotiate these prices I was told by Joanna , accounting supervisor at CIgna, that the patient is not privy to contractual agreement between Dr. Cooper and Cigna and she cannot transfer me to anyone who directly is involved in those negotiations. Anela, billing staff at Dr. Cooper's office, told me that patient signs the document agreeing to pay for the services before they see the doctor so when you see prices after the fact it is too late plus, you are also asked if you are self pay or have insurance so, if you say you have insurance you are..I guess the correct word would be.. screwed. So when you get the bill from Dr. Cooper that is double than what they charge a self pay person or what the prices otherwise for such service state on the internet ..and you try to question the prices or ask to be lowered to meet the market or self pay prices guess what..you can cry out loud because Dr. Cooper will send you to debt collector ...end of story. read more

The front office staff for Dr Kevin Art was so unpleasant I didn't even get to the providing. She was condescending and just plain rude without any care for a patient. I would urge you to seek a different provider who hires staff that is patient centered. This all has to do with me asking to use one of their paper masks because I left mine and they have a sign on the door that says mask required. So of course I am happy to oblige I just forgot mine.She begrudgingly gave me one with condescending remarks while the woman behind her stood without a mask completely. She even had the audacity to say "Don't worry I'm the rudest of them all here" with a smirk. read more

My visit was pointless. Dr. Patel is friendly but was non existent on help and would rather push to redo blood labs of which he was just presented with. Pushing for a 2nd visit. Money motivated is what this office seems to be. My PCP had referred me to this urology office to help me, due my blood labs showing below normal on free Test levels. Dr. Patel brushed it off actually disagreeing with my PCP saying the levels were normal and more than likely a psychological issue for feeling fatigue. Pretty weak response from a Dr. who is supposed to be empathetic and care about how people's health is before leaving the office. I cannot in good conscious recommend this office. I only waited a few minutes and Dr. Martin knocked on the door. He was well prepared and had view the actual CT films. He offered plenty of information and answered my questions with respect. I went in for a vasectomy. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. Once checked in I only had to wait a matter of minutes before being called back. Once back there an awesome nurse by the name of Kristine prepped me and made me feel comfortable as I was a bit nervous. Then Dr. Jaffee came in to perform the procedure. He has the most excellent bed side manner. He was very friendly and chatted with me during the surgery. After the procedure as I was getting up I began to feel very dizzy. The nurses were so great. Kristine and Stephanie rushed to my aid. They provided me with cold cloths to cool me down and have me two granola bars. I scheduled an appt at their Desert Ridge Office with a Dr. Kevin Art. Will say at the beginning, I never got to see him. The first person who answered seemed very nice and helpful. Suggested that I could fill out the forms by printing from their website, which I did. Of course, you can't email them back, have to print out and bring in. I felt the need to make some changes in 1, and didn't sign another. Told to be there 15 minutes before appt. I was - although difficult to find, since they list 2 different addresses there. Anyway, walk in and there was someone in front of me, not a problem...yet. After that person finished, the staff person gets up and walks away for 5 minutes. Yes, I noted the time. Not helpful, but maybe had to go to the bathroom, who knows. Someone else was still sitting at the desk. She comes back and I told her I didn't sign all the forms. Her response: " If you don't sign the forms, you don't see the doctor." I asked if I could at least explain why. The first one, was about the HIPAA policy. Yes, I know everyone just signs them, but you shouldn't. I have seen things in some of them that most people wouldn't like, but that is another story. Well, their form says the general statement similar to: I have received, read and have no questions about our privacy forms. Well, I had neither received, or read it and did have questions. I said that to the woman at the desk and she got upset! Why, because I asked a question? Again, I have seen things in them that I guarantee you would not sign if you read it. She says if you want it, it is right in front of you. Well it wasn't. I told her that. She is going on... "right there, right there." I said "there is nothing here, not even a holder." Of course if they put it on their website, it would have solved the problem. She finally finds it at the other end of the counter and gets one. Then says, it is your appointment time so just sign it. I said I still hadn't read it. She says well don't sign it, don't see the doctor! (How about, well make sure you sign it before leaving). I said, there was another form. It was their financial policy about being charged for appointments if you don't cancel at least 24 hours in advance. I can understand that, but I said "I wrote on it, because of my medical condition, I can't always give 24 hour notice. If I miss for a non-medical reason, then I pay, but not for a medical reason. " I told her that I had letters from my physician to confirm that. She said: "You can't change our form" and then guess what: " Don't sign it, don't see the Dr." Gee, had I not heard that enough already? Actually, I have taken Doctors and practices to court because they tried to bill me for missing when it was a medical reason. I actually won all of those cases because it was considered discrimination and against the Americans with Disabilities Act! Most doctors and staff have been understanding when it happened. She just kept to the same thing of "don't sign, don't see the Dr." Well, I have always found that the office staff are a good reflection of the Dr. In this case, I said well if this is how the staff treats a new patient, I don't think I want to see this doctor anyway - even though not seeing will cause me a problem on an upcoming trip. I tried 1 more time to resolve it, got the same answer... so I said forget it. The staff was rude, not helpful, and by not checking me in, would have made me late. I took all of that into consideration, and said thanks but no thanks and I left... and so should you. Oh, for those who it still matters to, not one person on the staff that I saw was wearing a mask. That's fine, it is their policy...but... it is a doctor's office. Who usually goes to a doctor's office. Sick people! The office had mostly older people waiting. Who are the one's to most likely to get sick? Right, older people... and people who are already sick. So would it be so bad to at least have the staff wear a mask? Careless attitude to go with everything else. The doctor could be great, but I will never know - thanks to the treatment by the staff. When my urologist went on medical leave at a medically tough time for me, I was referred to Dr. Borhan by my kidney specialist. I couldn't be happier with the recommendation. Although the office was very busy, they managed to squeeze me in within a week. It turned out that I needed the prostate surgery asap that I had been putting off for years. I was apprehensive about doing the TURP surgery but felt comfortable with Dr Borhan's straight to the point manner. I am so thankful to his office staff who was able to schedule me for surgery within a few weeks. Going to the bathroom like I am 40 again when I'm 70 plus is wonderful. read more

They do not answer their phones!! This is an on-going issue as can be seen from other reviews. What kind of practice doesn't answer their phones? I certainly would NOT recommend this group. I live in Alaska and was diagnosed with prostate cancer while visiting Anacortes WA. After researching my options I decided to have my prostate removed using the robotic option. I researched the best surgeons in that procedure and selected Dr. Borhan based on his credentials, surgery centers used as well as his support staff. To really top it off I found Dr Borhan to be very easy to speak to, explained everything in terms I could fully understand and relieved me of all my pent up anxieties in the first visit. WOW! The day of the surgery I was still conscious when entering the operating room. It was extremely clean and that robotic apparatus was definitely impressive. I briefly met his assistant whom Dr Borhan had used for many years and that was important to me. After the surgery I could walk almost immediately and left the second day. Up on leaving I wore a catheter which was really not a bad experience at all and required little maintenance. Made sleeping and traveling quite nice not having to stop for pee breaks. Once his assistant removed the catheter I was given diapers and warned some people may have incontinence and erection problems for an extended period of time. Within a few days after the catheter I no longer needed the diapers and was fully capable of sex but held off for a few weeks per Dr orders. I was relieved to discover that orgasms are very intense just without ejaculate or the mess. His office assistants were wonderful. If I had a question I could email them and would get almost immediate reply even after hours!!! I credit all this success to Dr Borhan. He and his staff are exceptional in every way. read more

An absolute scam! My husband went in to get an order for labs and they charged $145. He then went and got the lab work which we saw personally on our portal but they told him to come in for a follow up. Not knowing any different, he went in for a five minute follow up for them to tell him that his labs were normal (which we already saw online). When he left they said he was all set. Then comes the $95 bill! I called and spoke with the manager who stated that he could have cancelled the appointment but any visit is billed. That is poor practice to make someone pay to come in for labs that they already saw. We will not use them again. read more

This experience is a disaster so far, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer on February 25th, Dr. Cooper is very good at communicating with me as to how to proceed. 2nd visit with Dr. Cooper was on March 13th to discuss future appointments and how were going to proceed. After that appointment - silence. I called the office only to have to leave messages to call me back - still nothing. I finally got a call back from the staff on the 21st to discuss my payment options to cover the out of network staff that will be assisting Dr. Cooper - still no surgery date set. I attempted at this point to contact another surgeon, only to have insurance notify me that I would have to start all over and get another authorization number for a new surgeon. Opting to save time - I decided that I am staying with Dr. Cooper. Still no call back from the office. March 26th I left another message to call me. March 27th Called my Hemotologist to get someone to help me, they contacted Dr. Coopers staff and replied that I will get a call back, nothing. March 28th I finally got thru - only to find out now that I will have to wait till April 23rd "A preliminary schedule date" to be able to have surgery at best. I asked the staff if this was normal and the reply was yes. You tell me if this is what you want to work with if you have cancer? read more

Dr Jaffee performed the Urolyft procedure on me in June of 2002. I chose Urolyft after researching available options. I choose Urolyft because it is minimally invasive, has a quick recovery and demonstrated very good results. I choose to see Dr Jaffee as he is designated by Urolyft as reaching expert level with the procedure. The procedure was quick and recovery was also rapid. I notied improvement in my bladder function and less frequest night trips to the bathroom within 1 week. It has been 3 months since the procedure and the improvement has been outstanding. I make only 1 trip to the bathroom at night and I no longer have to urinate frequently during the day. I have no more sudden urges to go and no longer feel as if I only emptied my bladder half way. Dr Jaffee is caring, professional, and a talented surgeon. His office worked with my insurance company and an out of network surgical center so that I was only charged in network rates. I highly reccommend Dr Jaffee and Urolyft. read more

Had a procedure with Dr Ponas on Feb 2nd. I can honestly say he was one of the best doctors I have interacted with. His bedside manner was great, very personable, and really engaged beyond the expected doctor-to-patient interaction. His nurse/assistant Heather was also exceptionally nice, professional, and accommodating. Dr Ponas explained all of his steps as he was going through and answered every question.
