The staff at Affinity Surgery Center were wonderful with my son. I am a pediatric nurse and I was hesitant to have others taking care of my child but they truly were great. Audrey was so nice as I was flustered trying to manage my crying son and fill out all of the required paperwork. Brad and Sherri were wonderful checking us in and helped get everything ready. Joanne was his OR nurse and she made sure she came out and introduced herself to me. His procedure was about an hour long and Sherri came out and got me right away so I could sit with him in recovery and feed him. All of his nurses made sure I knew what was going on and what to expect. The facility was extremely clean and I watched the staff continuously clean the lobby about every 15 minutes while I waited for my son's procedure to be completed. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone. read more

I had to have trigger finger release surgery. The office staff and the waiting room were excellent. I was taken back to prepare for my surgery with Dr. Bronstein. I was well taken care of from beginning to end. Dr. Lomax (a wonderful doctor) performed surgery on my son today, at this facility. I was not familiar with Affinity Surgery Center before today, but can tell you they took great care of my son. The entire staff was so kind and compassionate to us both. Audrey was so understanding about my concerns in not being able to stay due to covid, and assured me I could call to check up on my son as many times as I needed. Sherry brought him out to the car and was also very kind and thorough when going over his discharged paperwork with me. I would definitely recommend Affinity Surgery Center, and if the need ever arises, I would ask if this surgery center is an option. This surgery center is top notch and I'm so happy That my hand surgeon uses this location. My son had his circumcision performed here with Dr Hwang. Amazing experience start to finish. Even though it was a routine procedure, all the staff made this nervous mama so comfortable and were so kind to my baby boy. Easy check in, super clean facility from the front desk to the surgery suite. All the nurses were great, we had Anne, Gaby, Sherri, and Lulu. The check in staff member (Audrey) was cheerful and helpful at 6am when I was barely functioning. The OR Tech Brandon was super helpful in explaining what was going on during the procedure (even though the doc was awesome at explaining as well!) When we got in, the first thing in my mind was this place was nice and have modern look. The front desk (I think her name is Audrey) greed us with smile. After checked in Audrey gave a paperwork and when you done filled it, wait in that room untill the nurse called pasient's name. My husband got his surgery a few months ago with Dr. Lomax. It was not to long After they prep my husband, one of the nurse call my name so I can came in to talk with him about 20 minutes. When I was with him, I saw 3 people (doctor, anesthesiologist,nurse) came and explain to my husband what they're gonna do and if my husband had any question. Dr. lomax himself called me to let me know that his surgery done and he's in recovery room probably about 1 hour. The team members involved in my husband care were Dr. Lomax, Audrey, Nicole, Cheryl, Sochar, Chrosty and Nora. I really like their customer service read more

Wow, this experience couldn't have gone any better. What seemed to be a nerving process was made seamlessly and effortlessly excellent by the kind and respectful folks here at Affinity Surgery Center. Initially I was scared for myself and my son because who isn't when heading in for surgery - but yet how fantastic it has ended up and the experience with all of the staff was just nothing but top notch. Audrey at the front desk was easy to talk to and extremely kind but maybe even more importantly very swift in the check in process and confirmation. Also big shout out to Amy! I had called earlier and confirmed with her and took a situation which was eccentric and handled it like anything else. Joanne, Annie & Anne in the pre-op room were also very kind and swift preparing my son for his procedure. Words can't explain how the personal connection I felt with the care of my son and management of the procedure. The staff made sure I was educated regarding prior, during, and after the surgery which is exactly what a parent wants and needs for their child. The whole process was just "easy". Simple, and collectively professional. The atmosphere was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Last but not least I really want to give recovery room nurse Sherry a great big hug if I could. She treated me and my son very well like he was her own and as if I was the patient myself. She was encouraging and understanding and took her time with us which I deeply appreciate. My almost 3 year old had a foam bead in her ear requiring her outpatient surgery to get it out. The employees at Affinity went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable even though it was a stressful situation. Sherry was amazing and took amazing care of us. Joanne made my daughter a balloon person and it was adorable. She loved that so much. Everyone was very nice and accommodating including Audrey and Heather. The office was immaculate and beautiful. Dr lomax removed my daughters tonsils and what left of her adenoids. The nurses did everything they could to help my daughter feel comfortable because she was terrified. One of them even took her in the room before the surgery to show her what It looked like to try and relieve her anxiety. They really did treat her like their own. read more

Went here for both my sons' circumcisions, and I couldn't ask for a better experience. My first one had to be put under anesthesia, and my second son was awake just got the local anesthesia shot. Both experiences were really great! They were really thorough of telling me what's going on and made sure to answer all my questions. The staff was really helpful too with calming my babies and helping me get them ready post operation. Definitely recommend here for your little ones. It's already nerve wracking of knowing what's going to happen, and it's very comforting that the staff you're trusting your little ones with are great and caring people! read more

The entire staff was very friendly. The nurses were extremely sweet and made us feel at ease (my toddler was getting surgery which is a little nerve wracking). They, along with the anesthesiologist, took their time to talk to him before the surgery and make him feel comfortable and calm. I'm fairly new to Las Vegas and I needed arthroscopic knee surgery for a torn meniscus. My orthopaedist, Dr. Ong, uses Affinity Surgery Center and I did not know what to expect having only been to hospitals for surgery before this. What a pleasant surprise and overall positive experience! The main difference I noticed was the attitude and demeanor of the staff. Audrey at check-in, and especially Sherry in pre-op, plus Anne, the operating room nurse, were very comforting and considerate, plus they were cheerful (even at 7:30 am). They were also very patient and polite with me as I asked a bunch of questions. The facility was very clean and the process of prepping me and getting me into the operating room was smooth and efficient. I don't remember much about post-surgery because I was groggy from the anesthesia. I was glad that the anesthesiologist had listened to me and given me a good cocktail of drugs that did not make me at all nauseous. I wish that I had been able to see the doctor afterward to hear how things went and what he found during the operation, but I think that is his choice and not the fault of the surgical center. One minor problem was the driving directions printed on their flyer, they were confusing and caused me and another couple in the waiting room to get lost. I told the front office, but I doubt they will revise them, so I recommend using Waze or google maps instead. If I ever need surgery again, I would not hesitate to use the Affinity Surgery Center. read more

My mother had shoulder surgery on 12/11/2018 here. The facility is very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and caring (minus the woman with curly hair who was at the front desk--I think she was just having a bad day.) Special thanks to Alex (pre-op nurse), Rachel (OR nurse), Nora (the EVS worker who took my mom to the bathroom), the CNA who wheeled my mom out to the car, and Dr. Ong. I had wrist surgery yesterday. I was politely greeted and was helped by the staff to fill out my various forms for registration. The clinical staff asked me several times many critical questions to be sure I was the correct patient, with the correct procedure, with the correct doctor. I was informed of my options for anesthesia as well as what to expect before and after my surgery. They were very attentive to my physical comfort as well as being sure that all my concerns were being addressed. Both the anesthesiologist and the surgeon met with me right before the surgery. I had a great experience at Affinity Surgery Center. I had a shoulder operation on january 7, 2021. The staff was absolutely wonderful and totally on top of everything. The pre-op nurses, Joanne and Anne were reassuring, personable, professional, and swift getting me ready. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Beckett, arrived right on time and made me feel completely safe. The surgical nurse, Sasha, also made me feel very safe and comfortable. My doctor, Dr. Ong, also arrived right on time which I appreciate. Everyone was really nice, facility was clean, and I felt taken care of from start to finish. I was so impressed with everyone at the surgery center from checking to being taken to my husbands car in a wheelchair!! The staff was so professional but kind and friendly at the same time!! Dr Hammer, the anesthesiologist was patient with me because I was very nervous. My nurse Mary, and all the nurses there that day, worked very well together. there were two kind people here, front desk girl and one nurse GabI who unfortunately I only saw for about 20 seconds. the nurse in charge of me was too busy checking off boxes to care about me at all. she was a jerk. I told her at least 3 times my husband and sister are waiting for me in the waiting room. she never bothered to go get my husband in the waiting room when my surgery was over. she walked me outside and said "where is your car" - again i had to repeat another 3 times "my husband and sister have been waiting in the waiting room" - she was not listening at all and could not care less. two different people told me someone from the surgery center would be calling to check on me the next day. it's 8:00pm the day after and no one bothered to call. obviously their 5-star reviews are coming from them - no one would give that kind of treatment 5 stars unless you enjoy being barked at and treated like dirt, this place sucks. read more
