I asked for an estimate when I called their office to set an appointment. I was told there would be an $89 trip/diagnostic charge and then they would charge me for the work, which they said they would tell me once the service tech checked out my issue (Leaky outdoor faucet). So I was fine with that because I had a degree of trust since the reviews were so good. And I had received a flat rate estimate by then from a competitor for $220. So I'm thinking in the ballpark of $200 which was fine. The guys who came over were on time, personable and professional. I liked them. However when they were finished estimating the service, it came to $489. This was just too far out of the realm of possibility that I just paid them the diagnostic fee and am having a friend come do the faucet replacement for me. $50 part and I'll grill some burgers.

When my HVAC system failed, they were the first company I called. They responded promptly, confirmed that my unit needed to be replaced, and provided an estimate. I obtained a couple of additional quotes for comparison, and Parker's estimate was by far the highest. Even so, because of my positive experiences with them in the past, I chose to move forward with their installation. I was without heating and cooling for approximately two weeks while waiting for my scheduled installation. The day before the installation, I was contacted and informed that it would need to be postponed by two additional days because another customer's installation had not been completed, leaving that customer without service. While the delay was inconvenient, I understood the situation. The installation itself was completed professionally, and I was very pleased with the quality of the workmanship. Unfortunately, my experience after the installation has been extremely disappointing. Mike with Parker Heating and Cooling informed me that I qualified for two separate rebates based on my new system and assured me that he would complete and submit all of the required paperwork on my behalf. It has now been more than three months since the installation, and I have received no information or updates regarding either rebate. I have attempted to contact Mike several times, but he has not returned my calls. While I have no complaints about the quality of the installation or the technical expertise of the company, customer service after the sale is just as important. Failing to follow through on promised rebate paperwork and then refusing to communicate with a customer has left me very disappointed. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend Parker Heating and Cooling despite the quality of their installation work.

I called another company told them the issue, they told me they could have someone out the next day because this issue did not need to wait (did not tell them anything about Parker's)within five minutes this company called me back and told me they would have somebody out within 2 hours. When the person arrived I actually thought they were just here to give me an estimate. He said no ma'am I am here to give an estimate and to fix the problem. The estimate was less than half the cost of Parker's Heating And Air! Plus not only did he fix my issue. He also looked at my HVAC unit to ensure everything was working good. I will never use Parker's Heating And Air again! They went from being a small family owned company to now all about the dollar.

The photos are of the new doorbells Airstream installed for me last summer and it has already been a huge help along with the porch light in identifying and dealing with unexpected visitors (good and bad, mostly good). As for our HVAC we have had considerable work done on it over the past year, and at every step Airstream was honest, professional, and transparent with their pricing while respecting our budget and time. After the 2026 winter storm, we found that the system had been taxed significantly and Airstream has worked with us over the past few months to get it back into tip-top shape for the summer heat. Each time the work has been done efficiently and with minimal interference in our daily activities and minimal stress on our our pets. I can not recomend this company enough, and look forward to continuing to work with them.

The technician, Ryan S., diagnosed a failed condenser and advised that my R-22 unit was too old to repair with current Freon, recommending a complete replacement at an estimated cost of $10,000-$24,000. I requested a written report and photos so I could obtain a second opinion. The report stated that the condenser was not working and that I needed a new A/C, but no photos were provided. I ultimately had my regular A/C technician evaluate the unit. He replaced a faulty capacitor and added one pound of Freon for $180, and the A/C immediately returned to normal operation. One week later, I have had no issues. While Ryan was very courteous, the diagnosis and recommendation were significantly inaccurate. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not use Air Stream for future A/C service and will instead wait for my regular technician to become available.
