Thinking we wouldn't be able to get a repairman until next week, I drove Middletown DE and shopped Lowes and Home Depot looking to take home a refrigerator that day. However, they didn't have a fridge that I wanted in stock so I had to order one - with 1 week delivery. Thinking we'd have to use ice coolers for a week, on Saturday I thought maybe I could get someone to look at our fridge, so I called Affordable. Within 2 hours, Todd was here, and found that a relay had failed, and he had the part on his truck. He fixed our fridge and we had a working fridge again. I had a serious problem with my refrigerator (it was snowing in the freezer), I called a reputable appliance contractor from the area, he spend 15 minutes trying to fiix the issue, and then he told me that the refrigerator is okay. Sure enough, the next day the problem resurfaced. I called the contractor several times, finally he called me back after one week and he told me that he doesn't know what is going on with the refrigerator. I was really disappointed and at the same time very worried that the refrigerator is going to stop working. A friend of mine recommended Todd, and he came the next day. He had a helper, a nice young man, his grandson, Barron. Todd and Barron took their time trying to eliminate all the possible causes that would cause the snow in the freezer. Sure enough, they discovered what the problem was, and they fixed it. They were extremely professional, courteous, and very patient with my dogs. I was really impressed by their commitment to solve the problem. Todd basically saved me at least $1300, as I was looking at the possibility of buying a new refrigerator. I will recommend Todd and Barron to all my friends. I have to say that I was really impressed by Barron: many young kids at his age would choose to play games, or have fun. I feel that I must compliment Todd the owner of this local business. We called to have our garage refrigerator repaired. Todd is recovering from spinal surgery so he sent out his employee Chris to take a look at the refrigerator. He arrived on schedule and was quick to tell us that there was not an economical way to repair the problem. I checked with him to see if he had a second hand replacement which he did. In a few hours Chris showed up with the replacement refrigerator which was cleaned out and very serviceable. All of this was not a critical situation but Todd was terrific in his follow-up and delivery. He truly cares and provides excellent service and timely communication.
