Fortunately, we worked with Downs Funeral Home and the staff there helped us so much. They were beyond professional and helpful and they made themselves available day and night if we had questions or concerns. They made an unbearable process much easier. They truly showed us respect and caring. I am not sure how we could have planned the service without their expertise. While I hope to not need them again for a very long time, it helps to know they will be there for us if we need.

Gorgeous cemetery - - as far as they go -- this one is absolutely huge!! We drove all around, there were plenty of hills to drive up and down and all around. We even saw a mama deer and her baby scurry past us... it was so beautiful! My only irk.... (and this is probably a privacy thing), was that we couldn't locate the plot that we were looking for. They do have an office looking building, but it's only open M-F, and we were there on a Sunday. (Too bad there wasn't a directory, or something online...) But... if i were to live in Duluth when I pass away, this peaceful place is probably where I'd like to rest.

I have been to a couple of events as well, and tthey have been helpful if directions are needed. The office has displays that help when you want to make a purchase, and there are always coffee and refreshments. They actually have a lot of open hours, so it's easy to contact them.
