The one you want to go into is the log cabin looking building. Upon entering, you'll notice the door is difficult to open. If you can get it open congrats, otherwise, there is likely no one around paying attention to customers coming in. It's a nice building, it seems new. It screams EXPENSIVE & 'WE LIKE TO PREY ON GRIEVING PEOPLE'. You see, we walk around to the front desk area where you would expect a sympathetic employee greeting potential grieving customers upon arrival. Was there anyone working at the desk? NOT A SOUL!!! I looked around a couple minutes, & coughed, thinking that SOMEONE may just hear me. Nope. MY mom finally got the attention of this oblivious employee in the back that was more into herself than us. Mind you, when my mom got her attention, she gave me the impression as if 1. she didn't really like to help 2. 'oh great another customer. go away i'm busy' look. Anyways, she showed us the showroom where all the urns are. I found an awesome looking black one, but it was in the $500-$700 range. THAT IS RIDICULOUS. Who would pay that much, when you can buy the same one for $136?! She said to us "excuse our mess, we are unloading more urns today" - ok I get that the place is a disaster, but help us out. My mom & I were looking for a green one, those seem to be rare. After she said that, the lady told us "be right back, I am going to go check in the back if we have any other ones" My mom & I waited & waited. We eventually gave up, & she told the lady we are leaving. What blew my mind is that the lady WENT BACK TO HER DESK (instead of looking in the back for more Urns). It turns out the lady was helping someone else!!! She completely blew my mom & I off!! I'm sure she did, thinking we weren't going to hand out $800 for one of their urns. This was the worst customer service ever. DO NOT BUY AN URN HERE. HOW can you ignore customers? Well this place does! If you can wait & order online, I KID YOU NOT, I found the exact same black & gold floral urn for $136 (not including shipping). This business loves to prey & take advantage of people!!!

Gorgeous cemetery - - as far as they go -- this one is absolutely huge!! We drove all around, there were plenty of hills to drive up and down and all around. We even saw a mama deer and her baby scurry past us... it was so beautiful! My only irk.... (and this is probably a privacy thing), was that we couldn't locate the plot that we were looking for. They do have an office looking building, but it's only open M-F, and we were there on a Sunday. (Too bad there wasn't a directory, or something online...) But... if i were to live in Duluth when I pass away, this peaceful place is probably where I'd like to rest.

I also greatly appreciate how supportive they are of the caregiver. They consistently ensure that supplies are provided and well stocked, which makes a meaningful difference during a very challenging time. My only concern is that services are not "open" or available on holidays and weekends. Illness and end-of-life needs don't take breaks, so it feels odd and somewhat disappointing that Ecumen's services are limited during these times, when support can be just as critical. Overall, the care team is exceptional, but expanded availability would greatly improve the experience.

I'm a bit peeved with my transaction here…read more I went in to get some hydraulic lines and explained my application. I wanted to steal a tractor's loader hydraulics and run them the back to connect to a 3 pt snowblower's chute. I needed four 3/8 inch 10.5 foot lines with an elbow and ag style quick connects. I also had a three foot power steering line I wanted duplicated. I came the next day to get the five lines and an 850 dollar bill. I could have gotten the same things at fleet farm for 250 and ordered the power steering line from the dealer for 60 dollars. Their response? We only use the best stuff and you'll never have a problem with it. That's great, but that really doesn't make sense for what I'm doing. I've worked 10 years for an industrial equipment manufacturer so I'm no stranger to fluid power or what things cost. Blindly overspeccing things is seldom helpful for an application and usually only benefits the guy selling the parts. For 850 bucks I could have bought two remote valves, a joystick, and lines to set up dedicated rear hydraulics. But don't get me wrong, I have a new found sense of pride knowing that my new hydraulic lines rival the value of the tractor... I had them keep their quick connects (4 male/female sets and 4 male) which dropped 300 off the bill. I bought the same fittings online at summit hydraulics for 100 dollars shipped. I figure the whole deal was 3x more expensive then it should have been. The steering line was ballpark what I could order it for, but I'm 90 percent certain they swapped a long elbow for a normal length one so the new line doesn't fit the steering valve. Looks like I'll be ordering that one anyways. The guys are the store are fine. Friendly people.
