This Affordable Dentures are the worst dental and dentures practice around. The quality of the dentures is awful. I've had two sets of dentures made at this location. The first set costs around 2500.00 dollars and was the second lowest price and quality set that they offered. Not even a year after having the dentures. The teeth began to come out. I had them repaired several times at that location. Only to cost me an additional 150 to 200 extra dollars every visit. Eventually they broke altogether. I went back to this same location. I bought another set. This was the second set of dentures purchased. This set was the second to the most expensive set that they sale at that location. This set cost me 3500.00 dollars. I haven't had this set for a little over a year. And again, one of the front teeth has come out of the dentures. I actually swallowed the tooth while eating a meal. I looked up the number of that office. Only to find that the office has a notice of temporary closed on the page. I called the number only to get the run around for the switch board operator. They said, they sent an email to another Affordable Dentures at the Stockbridge location. That someone would give me a call back within 24 to 48 hours. Why is it so difficult to get service from these providers? I would never recommend Affordable Dentures at any location. They are in my opinion a bunch of scam artists that are only out to line their own pockets. Then close down the business so you can't receive service when you have a complaint or emergency. You will be extremely disappointed if you have work done here. My 75 year old step-father had dentures made here and the first 30 days a tooth fell out. Several more teeth fell out which they did re-install (as long as he was able to save the tooth) until the warranty ran out. Now every time a tooth falls out they want $250 to re-install. They never were worth having from day one. They should refund his money so he can go have some teeth made somewhere that knows what they are doing. My mother had hers made 17 years ago and has never had a problem! This place is a rip-off. Ill fitting and so cheaply made they are a disgrace. They are preying on people who can least afford to be taken advantage of. Do not give them any money. Take it from someone with SEVERE odontophobia, the staff here is great! Both Dr Bempah and technician Essence were very reassuring, and were completely understanding of my odontophobic nature. They both kind, considerate and explained everything prior to doing my extraction. I have an appointment later this month to go back for a full upper extraction. While I am still nervous, I feel very relieved that Dr. Bempah and Essence will take good care of me. Wait times were basically non-existen. If you read all negative review, these are from years ago. Give them another try, I think the entire staff has changed. read more

Was there for my third visit this morning, appoint with v. johnson. First visit they made impression, made appoint. for extraction, second visit deadened mouth then came in for payment, no extraction. Third appoint. for extraction, Dr. johnson came in and said we did not see eye to eye and he would refund my 300. I have wasted three days and nothing done. Do not know what dr. johnson's problem was, In the process of talking with my attorney about being reimbursed for three days lost of work for no reason, if he had a problem why make another appoint. and then cancel after I show up for the appoint. I WAS a satisfied customer until today! I have always had a wonderful experience but that has changed. I purchased my dentures last year too and bottom. My temporary dentures were extremely comfortable, but the permanent ones were not. I got the $900 package. I've gone back several times to have them adjusted still uncomfortable. Today I went back because of frustration in can't wear them. I was told have to purchase the more expensive ones to have comfortable ability to actually use them. The dentist who is not the original one was very nice while explaining this. After a few minutes he said he would be right back. The asst walked in and asked me my decision. What happened to the dentist? Well he went on to another patients room. So because I'm not happy about buying another set of dentures more expensive and I would have this set that is not working just sitting in my cabinet I was not worth continuing a conversation with really?????????? Ok so I can spend my $$$ somewhere else where I feel I'm important enough for you to continue a conversation with! The front office staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I went to the Denture place and was very satisfied for the first few visits until dr. Henson the man who owns the place come in and proceeded to laugh at me and tell me how laughable my situation was when 99% of my teeth are bad and they wanted to pull all of them because and still proceeded to tell me that my situation was funny and then tried to kick me out this place is unbelievable with the way that they will treat you by the actual owner at that don't let their pretty Smiles fool you because you will walk away with half of your dental work not done. I am appalled at this office and how they handled my husbands treatment today. He went in for a emergency extraction on a molar. The "fill-in" dentist "had to drill" his molar out instead of pulling. Not so much a issue. He cut my husbands tongue with the drill, placed a stitch in his gum and sent him on his way with Amoxicillin and Tylenol 3. I won't even get into how you can't get anyone on the phone or a call back. Well the pharmacy wouldn't fill the Tylenol 3 because the "doctor" gave him a prescription with NO DEA number. Pharmacy couldn't get the dentist so I finally drove back up there only to be told by the receptionist that "she doesn't know his DEA number and all other pharmacies only need his NPI number". Pharmacy said they need both numbers. I find this very shady. Why would a licensed doctor prescribe a controlled substance if he doesn't have a DEA number? My husbands numbing has worn off and he's in excruciating pain. I am livid with this office and their lack of professionalism. Hey ADaI..... he's not a paycheck. He's a human being that you shuffled through your system with no regard to his aftercare. I'll be filing with the BBB next. You should be ashamed. read more

If i could give a lower score that 1 I would. We paid $1100 for a bottom plate. We had to come back twice because the first impression was not done correctly, then come back the following day to receive teeth that scrap and hurt my mother mouth. After calling them they tell us, oh give it time, your mouth is not use to it. After a week and now she can not wear the teeth because she is in such pain, we call back and they tell us they can not fix it for another month, but if you want new teeth, oh we can get you in in two days. So you take a person money, dont do quality service, make consumers wait a month before you correct YOUR mess up and my mother is just out of luck. The staff was very cold, no empathy, sympathy, very scripted, no we can't see you. THE DO NOT CARE, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. I Would never recommend going here. Asked for a manager and of course they are busy, they will call back, but 5hrs later still no call back. read more

These people should be put out of business. My wife had a lot of dental work, and a full set of dentures. We paid $4000 out of pocket, because they don't accept insurance. We bought the package where all adjustments and appointments were covered for a year. The dentures did not fit properly, and after trying multiple times to get an appointment we finally had to just show up, and threaten to contact the BBB. Finally got an appointment, and they broke her dentures and had to start all over. We filed the claim on our insurance, and after waiting weeks, we contacted the insurance company and the notified our check had been sent to the dental office, and was cashed on March 2nd. We have tried for a week now to contact them about this. They will not return our calls. We even called and were told that the corporate office would be calling us back today. Which they did not. Do not use this business. They will lie to you, they will cancel appointments without notifying the patient, and they will steal from you if given the chance. read more

If I could give zero stars it would better rate this office. I am a first time denture wearer. Went for consultation early one morning was told needed 14 teeth pulled. They fitted me for my dentures and told me they would be ready when I came in to get my teeth pulled the next afternoon. Appointment was st 4:30. Didn't leave until after 8 on because the did not have the dentures ready and didn't tell me until after all my teeth were pulled. Did I mention it was a Friday? So when they were finally ready they didn't fit AT ALL. They grounded all the teeth down to make them fit. Went back Monday to get redone. Told them the bite was off and they said no it's not you just have to get used to them. Went back 2 days later because they forgot a tooth in the back. It was broken and scraping my jaw. Once again they told me I was wrong. It was just s bone spur. Went back at least 2 or 3 more tones because of wrong fit and still complaining about the tooth that was left. Still told I need to get used to them and it was a bone spur. Finally someone got enough sense to get the actual dentist instead of the dental assistants to look and guess what. Yep! It was a tooth. Had to go through getting a tooth pulled AGAIN!! Still didn't fix the fact that the bite was off. Got tired of going and just chomped my food until it was soft enough to swallow since I couldn't actually chew anything. Fast forward to last week. Went for my follow up. Owner was there and immediately said Oh no these are all wrong and need to be remade. Nahhh. Really?? Been saying that for the longest. Do the remake them. They don't fit. Assistant keeps leaving the room doing something then coming back and putting them in. Told her they were pinching my gum on the left side. She started getting annoyed and told me I just had to get used to them. Left and stoped to get a bite to eat. Took one bite and had to turn around and go back to the dentist office. Every time I bit down it felt like a clamp on my gum. Assistant took dentures and cans back. Still a no go. Same thing 3 more times. No change. Doctor came in, didn't ask any questions didn't examine me just said oh it's going to take some getting used to. I finally just gave up and left. Today is my wedding anniversary and tomorrow is July 4th. I cannot eat anything not even noodles because the assistants solution to the demure digging into my gum was to grind all the freaking teeth on the renter down. So now I have no chewing surface AND the damn thing clamps on my gum so tight it's ridiculous. My gums are swollen and I'm in pain. Called yesterday but they didn't see me until Thursday. I want my money back so I can go somewhere else because they just can't get it right. Since when do the dental assistants make all the decisions without the aid of the dentist!!! Stay away unless you want to spend everyday at the dentist office trying to get them to understand that it's your mouth and you know what's going on in there! read more

I was referred to this location by a family member. My experience from the time I walked through the door was wonderful. Everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable. During my consultation, they took the time to explain the extraction procedure in great detail and made sure I was comfortable with the entire process. I am very pleased with the results. I have had a bad experience and it is still going on. First visit was October 1, 2013. Told the process would take three months. Should have realized that I was going to have trouble when dentist pulled out five bottom teeth the were good. They had to make the upper plate twice, size of teeth were too small, now they have to make the bottom partial twice. Piece and teeth were too big, so big that instead of replace five teeth they replaced four and a half. The rebase on the upper was so painful I could not keep it in most of the day. So more adjustments had to be made. Can't wait to be finished. I believe I will have to see a practice-not to confident that I will ever be comfortable with the work they have done read more

They reworked some dentures for me that a local dentist had made. I was very pleased with the outcome. They were very friendly and professional and got them reworked in 1 day. I would recommend this business to anyone who is looking to have good fitting dentures made at a reasonalbe price. I also sent a friend to have some made there and they were pleased as well. read more
