We went there for my husband to start his denture journey, at first the service was nice the people were ok to deal with. After his teeth were extracted that's when the service started to turn sideways. They were not hands on with his temporary set of dentures the first set wasn't even his to begin with, the second set of temporary dentures wouldn't even fit properly, the employee's where doing the bare minimum of that so he couldn't even get his dentures in or out without them cutting his gums up badly, we told these people this several times again they didn't do anything about it, we paid in full almost 10k. Over all the worst experience you could possibly have with starting your denture journey, we wanted a refund for the work and permanent dentures he didn't get or wouldn't get cause of the service. We fought for 3 weeks and they still charged us for temporary dentures he couldn't use that we told them to keep, and also made me sign some stupid paper saying we wouldn't sue them for malpractice. Which my husband didn't sign, which I have started the process of filling a malpractice complaint against this location. Overall we DO NOT RECOMMEND this location period, worst possible experience ever. If I could give this a 0 star I would.. also we ended up having to go to another dentist and pay an extra 6 grand to have oral surgery to have 2 implants removed that were put in at this office and to also clean up the poor Job they did with his extractions. The implants were placed wrong and 1 of them wasn't even in the bone as it should have been. read more

Just don't! Payed almost 1100 and still couldn't get what I needed. Refused to pay and got yell at. REALLY! Half of you guys in there need a class on how to treat customers. So unprofessional and just plain rude. Stop treating your customers bad and take that attitude and use it to clean that clinic up. read more

I had all my teeth pulled and top and bottom dentures made. It was the worst experience I have ever had. I can't get an appointment to get my dentures adjusted . They want me to wait a week to be able to get them adjusted. So it means I have to go a week without my teeth. The front desk people are rude. The assistant is rude. The teeth are very poor quality. My bottom dentures have never fit. I am Appualed of the treatment and service I have gotten. I don't advise anyone to go there . They don't do what they say. They don't have any bedside manner at all. It was a horrible experience from the day I got my teeth pulled upto now. I wouldn't take my worst enemy to them . I have a 5 page letter for the office manager. They will be giving to her today. I can't believe they treat people there. I am devastated with this all. Affordable Dentures on Rivers Ave. in North Charleston has always been a seedy environment but with new management/ownership it is even worse. I could never imagine there being any room to be worse but they have won that award hands down. Don't worry, they have raised all their prices for this bad service and actually lied when giving me a quote over the phone not once but twice. They like to get you in there to tell you they are going to overcharge you. I was paying $35.00 to change O-rings in my dentures but they have now gone up to $300.00. That is 9x as much as previously charged but now you can only do it at certain times in an extremely dirty environment. Digusting! Treat yourself better and never step into this low income clinic that charges outrages prices! Worst experience just hit rock bottom! Stay Away read more

i went to affordable dentures to get crowns put on since i could afford them there. My first appointment i scheduled to get my crowns done and when i went to my appointment they said they couldn't do the operation of the crowns becuase my gums were to bad which is false because i don't have problems with my gums. Mindy proceeded to tell me that she would have to clean my teeth first before they could put on my crowns. So i listened since i was out of options financially. So when i went to my second appointment to start cleaning my teeth, mindy was very negative on the outcome of my teeth and kept saying that i mine as well pull them all and trying to push me towards not trying to save my teeth. I felt very discouraged after leaving there every time thanks to there main focus being on something else besides doing a good job. after my last deep cleaning appointment they told me not to make any more appointments and they never did my crowns, what i originally went there for! they made me pay them for cleanings to my teeth that didn't need done before my crowns and then kicked me out after i paid them for unneccessary work. read more
