After The procedure was done oh, I forgot to tell you this they want the money upfront. Then when I received my partial, it could not stay in my mouth and I asked the doctor what is the alternative? I need that to stay up because I have to chew or go to work And he said to me oh I told you that that would not stay. This place SUCKS! The people who work here are rude and treat people less than. When you pay the thousands and thousands of dollars for your dentures they are even more rude. I took my mother here to have some extractions and a lower plate made for her. My mother is 81 so I do my best to look out for her and make sure she is at ease. The dentists and the dental staff in the back were very good and they made her feel comfortable. Not only that, when they were midway through the extractions the dental assistant came out to give me an update that everything was going well. Made me feel at ease. However, I do have two complaints. She had an appointment on Tuesday at 9:30 to take molds of her teeth and to come back later in the afternoon for the extractions. It should have all been done that day. After some confusion about cost, which my mother had written down during the consultation and asked what amount she needed to bring when she came back, they told her that she had to also pay the balance which they didn't say before. My mother is old but she's not dumb. The lady at the desk even circled it on the paper for her. So we got the additional money and paid the bill but after the molds were done, the technician said she had bad news and that they couldn't do the extractions that day. Clearly the office staff had overbooked and not allowed for the time to continue with what my mother had already scheduled. They said we could come back the next day but, of course, I had to work and couldn't take a second day off. I had a planned day off for Friday so we said we would come back then. Annoying but okay. So she insisted that we come in at 8:00 on Friday...which we did...but while we were the first people in the door, we were not called back until 8:45. Four other people who came in after us went first. Really? Had they not had such a great dentist and professional staff, I would have been completely turned off by this place because of the scheduling problems. Not only that, on Tuesday, I noticed someone had left their water bottle in the bathroom. When I came back on Friday, that same water bottle was still there on the sink. The bathroom needed cleaning and was completely out of toilet tissue. You could tell no one had been paying attention to the restrooms during the week. It's the little things that make this place "not the best". I am thankful that the people in the back - dentist and dental assistants - were awesome. Kudos to you guys! Thank you for taking good care of my mom during the procedure and treating her with great kindness. You are the reason this place is successful. (P.S. The lady at the front desk on Friday was all by herself and was doing her best to keep things moving. You could tell she was a little overwhelmed but she kept putting a smile on her face. If it was possible to put a ZERO it would be for this location! I have a friend who took her time and her hard earned money to this location. The service SIMPLY SUCKS! I will be reaching out to the better business bureau as this type of behavior and service is intolerable. Dr. Harvey and his staff will mislead and misguide their customers by making them believe that they will have a better quality product by spending more. I understand the concept of " you get what you pay for" however, the best product and service possible should be afforded to ALL patients regardless of race and/or age. I am very disappointed in this quality of service within a historic neighborhood such as Cascade. The technician who creates the dentures and plates is under qualified to do so. Her work has underperformed the quality and the expectations of the customers as there were many adjustments needed and we still don't have a product. Cannot say enough about the expediency, friendliness, care and value of this location. Staff is both very friendly and prompt. They are gentle with x-rays and impressions. Of course, what is most impressive is the speed and quality of their output and their prices are about half those of others that require a week+ to deliver the finished denture. After reading all the negative reviews, I will cancel my appointment at this location tomorrow. A couple years ago I was seen in the Cartersville's location, for upper dentures. The denture never fit, even after returning a few times for adjustments. I thought I would try this location but ,after reading the reviews I'm gonna pass. Let me start by saying, I'm deathly afraid of the dentist. So when I had a very very loose tooth I wanted to try and pull it myself and look crazy for a while. But I have a professional job and I couldn't do that. So I searched for someone near where I live, that were affordable to do an extraction and a partial denture same day and not break my bank. I googled and came up with Affordable Dentures & Implants that was within a few miles of me. I called and the phone was answered by one of the nicest ladies and she explained everything. Mostly that I could have a partial the same day and that they were giving new patients consults and x-rays at no charge and that the partial was 10% off. I was at first skeptical. Was this a place that made horse teeth and I would look crazy. So I made the appointment and went. I was greeted by some of the nicest dental techs and receptionist ever. I went in to talk to the doctor. Who promptly told me to call her Dr. O. Well Dr. O you are a Godsend. She put me at ease by rubbing my back and speaking so softly to me. She understood my fear and told me that she would take wonderful care of me and she did. While she was numbing my mouth she rubbed my hand to calm me and helped me with breathing. It was all so wonderful. And the price. Did I mention how affordable this is? Now this place only extracts and makes dentures or does implants. This is not the cavity filling dentist. In fact that dentist is right next door to this office. I can't say enough or recommend this place enough. I've already given their web address and phone number out. I went to the West Atlanta office and I have never paid so much to be treated so badly. Please realize, that the bad treatment did not come until I paid over $2800 for my extractions and dentures. Once I paid - I was less than. I was given zero instruction on how to take care of myself or my new dentures. One the day of the extractions, they give you your dentures and tell you not to take them out for 24 hours. Well, within 18 hours I had a ulcer from the dentures because they did not fit. When I called and told the receptionist, she told me that they absolutely would not see me for a week, since I had just had my extractions. I told her that I could not close my mouth due to the sore, but she still said no. I had to break down and start sobbing and say I was coming anyway for her to work me in. The ulcer was the size of a quarter by the time they agreed to see me that day and took 3 weeks to heal. The dentures do not fit my mouth. I am unable to eat with them in at all, they just come loose and free float in my mouth. I can barely talk without them coming loose. Also...the dentures themselves barely have teeth...only gums that come all the way up to the top of the "tooth" so that all they had to use was the very tops of the fake molars - what a way to cheap out. See my profile pic. The lead tech bullied me on every single visit until I finally demanded that she no longer be a part of my treatment. Now she is not allowed to talk to me (Thank Heavens!). My husband, who never has a cross word was so angry at how they treated me that he could have spit nails. Also, I show up at least 15 to 20 minutes early for my appointments, but often have to wait up to 3 hrs to be seen. I feel fairly sure that is intentional, since people who come in well after I did get to go first. I see that the reviews here are polar opposite of each other..and that yelp has suppressed two bad reviews for unknown reasons. What I have to say about that is this: That is absolutely correct. I have had about 10 visits now and I have seen them treat people like gold. Other people get treated terribly for no noticeable reason. You may get treated well, but its highly likely that you will not. Dr. O herself is very personable, but does not hold up her word. She did not take care of her lead tech bullying me and I had asked how long should I take off work, I had thought about 3 days plus the weekend. She said everyone is different and for some 3 days is enough, and others need a week. But then when I had the procedure the office staff insisted that they only give a 24 hour work excuse. Well, since your appt to have the work done is at 8 am, your excuse is used up by 8 am the next day. BE PREPARED..YOU WILL ONLY GET A 24 HOUR WORK EXCUSE. This is not company policy..but this office's policy. When you call the appointment line, they will tell you that you can get a 3 day excuse, also that you have 9 months to finish the work and get your final dentures...but the office says 6 months. But the appt line will not make you an appt at the 6 months mark to finish the work...so am I about to get juked out of my final dentures?!?!? I don't trust them...so I think its highly likely that they try take unfair advantage. I had posted this after my first visit in February 2019, but pulled it back down because Dr. O told me that she would handle the problem so I told her I would pull the review, but she did not handle anything and I still feel like I have been and continue to be treated badly. Until I demanded that the lead tech not be involved, nothing changed. Between the way I was treated and the dentures I received for almost $3000, I cannot recommend this franchise. RUN! read more

beware beware beware the staff is very rude and make the worst dentures ever i paid for dentures for my mom they created temporary dentures until permanent dentures are completed however after signing all the documentation they neglect to mention it take almost 6months to receive permanent and when she did recived them they literally fell out of her mouth while eating....i called and went with her several times to fix the problem but to no avail nothing finally the manager yelled and said we will give u a partial refund and at that point we asked for proof of refund and thats when she became very irrational therefore we will see them in court this has literally impacted my mom physical and mental health....be warn stay from the cascade location! read more

The Atlanta Cascade Rd location is the worst experience ever. My mother along with two other senior were waiting patently outside the door and a very rude and angry staff member came out yelling and barking orders. Stating "you don't have to blow your horn at me I know you are waiting. Just sit in your car until we call you". All three patrons said they regret their decision to buy dentures from Affordable dentures and implants. My advise to the public is do NOT spend your hard earned money with them. You have options. My regret is I didn't do enough research on them. Very poor customer service skills and I was saddened about how they treat our seniors. read more

These people are idiots...PLAIN AND SIMPLE! The dentist proposed pulling perfectly good teeth just to get a partial which I didn't want nor did I go there for. I was only missing one tooth. I told them I would come back with my insurance card for extractions because I was receiving it in the mail. I tried calling back like 45 times after that to schedule and they would not return my call. I even had a relative go in the office to schedule and they claimed they were having registration issues and NEVER called me back which was hilarious since there are so many dental office in the area. I finally went to another affordable denture office and their services sucked too. I finally realized that it's all affordable dentures in the Atlanta area because I had been to one in Florida and it was a completely different environment with professional people.
