This is a hidden gem and it took me a few years to discover them. Prices are cheaper than the big box nurseries and the quality of their plants is much better. All of their employees are very knowledgeable and equally helpful. I do like that they have a great selection of potting soil and fertilizer and they provide guidance regarding which to use based on your purchase. I've purchased a number of roses, a dwarf magnolia tree, and a number of potted plants and all are thriving. The dwarf magnolia is at least 12 - 15 feet high now. These folks are a great alternative to the big box store at the corner of 183 and Chrystal Falls.

Though prices are higher than at HEB or a big box, I continue there for the advice & availability of things like compost and rooting stimulant, and find the crew under Mark's daughter to continue the good advice; and the somewhat higher price but greater variety and knowledge plus my pricing for customers of 1/2 the retail price of their plants bought there make it work out very well for me; and I've just bought my second Sweet Bay for MY OWN yard, recently, when the first, which made great chicken soup, froze during one of the frequent "SnowVid '21," SnowPocalypse '23," deep-freeze events... Pat Dean (owner) was an absolute gem - helpful, kind, and so knowledgeable. The nursery was much bigger than I expected and had such a lovely variety of healthy and beautiful looking plants, trees and flowers. His prices were so, so reasonable and if I had a house (or a green thumb), I'd spend my money here in a heartbeat over a big box store. He mentioned he might be changing his hours now that summer has rolled around, but do not hesitate to call if you have any questions. I should have read the reviews ahead of time but didn't. Charged a lot and when they messed up and…read moredumped rocks before outdoor lighting was moved/adjusted, the business claimed they were "uncomfortable" moving the lighting. The problem with this excuse is that 1/ They never communicated that to me and 2/ That's the excuse you want to go with for not doing something you said you would? Seriously. Rocks were just dumped over the lights and no correction was made. They didn't even attempt to correct the issue but rather sent me nasty emails when I held back $300 of a $11k project. DO NOT USE THIS LANDSCAPING COMPANY. If, for no other reason, they just don't take ownership for their mistakes and wipe their hands of the entire matter.
