If you are looking to purchase a tree, look no further.... this nursery is by far the best and Terry is awesome to work with. I had a tree die in the winter storm and needed to get it replaced. I found LAWNS (Leander Area Wholesale Nursery Supply) through Yelp and met Terry. He was very kind and spent a lot of time showing me trees and patiently answered all my questions. Terry helped select a beautiful tree and also offered installation (removal of the dead tree stump and planting the new one). I got several quotes and Terry's price was competitive. On the day of the install, the crew that came to install were on time and did a good job. I was very happy with the result. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and highly recommend Terry at LAWNS

    More myrtles from Terry.

L.A.W.N.S is great and Terry the owner is super helpful, has a wonderful selection and great deals! I have been to a lot of nursery's in the area and his is the best by far! Picked up 20 wax myrtles and will definitely come back!

I can't thank Terry enough for helping us choose our trees and delivering them. They make our yard look so much better!!! I would highly recommend you visit the tree farm.

There is plenty of parking available, but it is best to park close to the entrance. It is best to get a cart at the entrance, as I mentioned earlier; this is a large nursery. There are Barryhill experts available to assist, and we received very helpful advice regarding different rose plants. The gentleman we initially met at their yard gave a tour of all the trees in his golf cart, asked us several questions about what we were replacing, and what we thought we would like to replace it with. He stopped frequently to identify the different trees, provide all the pros and cons of each variety, whether they were particularly suitable for where we live, etc. We didn't feel rushed, he was exceptionally pleasant, and was happy to answer all our questions. When we decided what type of tree we wanted, we were handed a flag, picked out the exact tree we liked best, and they delivered it in a matter of days. Their crew was friendly and efficient, and for a reasonable fee, cut down and removed the dead tree. They were finished in no time, and left the yard looking better than when they arrived. They only asked for payment when the old tree was gone, the new tree was planted, staked, watered, and we were 100% satisfied with their work. I really didn't think this level of customer service existed anymore. Go see them. You won't regret it.

In late January of 2025 I noticed some uneven shingle lines on the opposite side of the patio roof that Tobi and his team completed. From my previous post, Tobi assured us that the opposite side of the patio roofing was done correctly which is why he refused to redo the entire shingle work and just correct the area that was falling off (as seen in the pictures). I asked a 20+ year roofing professional to assess what I noticed and he confirmed that both sides were done incorrectly. There were areas with 3 nails per shingle or less and even some shingles with no nails at all. We chose to have the entire side (opposite side from which Tobi already corrected) re-roofed; including paper underlayment. Luckily there were no signs of water damage. This correction was north of $1,000 out of our pocket. My wife and I want everyone to know that we would not recommend Hill Country Outdoor Builders for any work moving forward. We are also starting to notice some loose paver stones on the end caps of our patio floor. Do your research with this company and ask a lot of questions before moving forward.
