Yesterday, I unexpectedly learned that I needed to purchase new tires and get a wheel alignment. It completely caught me off guard, and I was stressed and overwhelmed, spending the night and early morning calling and comparing more than 10 shops in the area. I tried calling Affordable Tire Center after hours and didn't leave a voicemail, but as soon as they opened, Sal returned my missed call. That simple gesture already meant a lot. He provided me with a quote that was the best price out of all the other shops I contacted -- including Costco. He let me know the tires weren't currently in stock but assured me he would get them as quickly as possible. Sal had the tires delivered in less than five hours and was able to get me in right away. The entire service -- replacing two tires and completing a wheel alignment -- took under an hour. I was having a really difficult day and felt overwhelmed by the unexpected expense, but Sal's kindness, professionalism, and flexibility truly made all the difference. Great and fast service! I had a flat tire and I brought my car in without an appointment. There were 2 people ahead of me, but they took my car in anyway. I was in and out of there in 45 minutes, tire repaired and all tire pressure checked. Everything came out to $35! This place is true to its name - affordable! **Review Title:** Extremely Rude and Unprofessional Experience I was referred to this auto shop by a local Costco auto service center, so I called ahead to stop by for an estimate regarding several warning lights on my dashboard, including the Service A1 light. When I arrived, I parked and approached a worker outside, as I couldn't easily identify the office entrance. A man--who seemed to be the boss--immediately and rudely told me to "wait there," with no greeting or explanation. I waited patiently while he finished what he was doing, but when he finally acknowledged me, he continued to be curt and disrespectful, telling me to go to the office without any direction or assistance. When I explained that I had recently purchased the pickup truck and was hoping to get an estimate for diagnosing the dashboard lights, he reluctantly plugged in a diagnostic device. After a brief check, he dismissed the issue, saying there were "too many lights" and that he "couldn't help." He seemed either too lazy or not competent enough to take on the job. Instead of offering a solution, he told me to "go to a mechanic on the 10th." I asked for the name of the place, and he just repeated, "a mechanic on the 10th." In all my years dealing with service professionals, I have never encountered someone so rude and unhelpful, especially in the auto repair business where trust and communication are essential. Another thing that I appreciate is just because I'm a female they didn't take advantage of me or think I'm dumb. They literally were completely honest with me and what my car needed. I honestly will not take my car elsewhere. I needed a little thread or stud replacement for one of my tire/rim and they took care of me and you honestly won't find a better price. If I could give a higher rating I would. This morning I woke up to my car making a horrific noise. It turned out that someone sawed my catalytic converter. I was frantic. A friend recommeded I call affordable tire center and she said they were fair and honest. I called them and spoke to Sal. Then to his boss Minor. It turns out Minor was in my area delivering a part and said he could stop by and check out my car since it wasnt drivable. Turns out my catalytic converter was sawed and hanging. something must have spooked the thief because they didnt take it. Minor told me he could weld it back and it wouldnt cost me the $2000-$2700 it cost to replace a catalytic converter. I had my car towed and they welded it back on and charged me only $280. I had a 15% off code from costco and they accepted it and I only paid $242. They saved me so much money. If you have a problem with your car call Sal and Minor at Affordable tire center before you go anywhere else. They are fair and wont rip you off and try to sell you something you dont need. They are honest and at this time its hard to pay extra when everything is so expensive. They saved me a fortune. I will be going back. read more

Since I moved downtown nine years ago, Affordable Tires has been my go to place for not only Tires but automobile repair. And I'm extremely happy with them. I am even more happier, if that's even possible, because weekend my husband and his friend were getting ready to go to a Reno guys weekend and they found a huge tire nail in the tire before they even left the driveway. They took the tire off, took it over to Sal and he put loaner tire on on the rim and off they went to Reno. It took under 30 minutes for the whole process. I went to get a whole new set of tires today from this shop and the worker Salvador was his name I believe, he was helpful and everything but I took a new set of rims brand new set his workers scratched all four of my rims each they all have a scratch on them all four. This is unbelievable I paid over 1k for the rims since there deep dish I don't even use them and they get scratched !? Why kind of shop does this work ? Not to mention he mentioned to me some things that need to be changed and they don't really need to be changed. So trying to get me go pay more.... The staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind, personable, helpful and honestly you CAN'T beat the price! They ordered 2 tires and got them in same day for me. I was able to come in to replace my tires and have an all wheel alignment completed for me in a short amount of time! They also informed me that I would be needing new brakes (fairly soon) before I even had the chance to ask them, which I loved! I always love supporting small businesses every chance I can! Had to get a tire patched and brought my wheel to Sal here at Affordable Tire Center. He heard something inside the tire when he was rolling it over into the shop. Big piece if metal was inside that finally gave and that wheel is done. This shop is truly amazing! I went there today because my 2016 Honda had an error code. They recommended because of my mileage to take it to Honda because it may be under warranty. They gave me good advice because it was covered, I needed a new fuel pump! They could have easily just took my business and did the inspection and did the repair themselves but they didn't. When I called Affordable Tire Sal said he could have them on my van the same day and his price was unbelievable. I noticed his willingness to help and very professional attitude and I appreciate that. I saw they have a 5 star rating and when I see that I give them my respect and trust. Update since it's been a while since my last one. These guys are still the best around. I have 3 vehicles (4 if you count the one that needs a new engine) all of which are like me old and in need of maintenance. They are over 200,000 so every time I come in I go to church first to pray my bill is less than the state budget Needless to say I have a very good relationship with these guys ( we xchange Christmas cards). After realizing one of my tires on my car needed to be changed the same day, I called and shopped around for tire prices. I'm on a budget so I wasn't trying to spend too much. Plus I couldn't wait until the next morning as I have to be on the road tomorrow! Also for some reason I have a rare tire size, so all the other shops I called either didn't have it or were charging $90-128. I called this shop and was quoted $40 for a used tire that is pretty much like new. Deal! We headed over to the shop and i was done within 15 minutes tops. I couldn't be happier with my service here. Found this place because of yelp I needed my Infiniti g35 worked on new tires front arms (I wasn't aware of untill they showed me ) and alignment . Sal is so nice ! I needed to get struts, shocks and tires, I called Sal at this location and he was so friendly over the phone and asked if I could bring my vehicle by so he could see it and give me a quote. I brought it by his shop and after looking at everything he agreed that my truck needed all the parts I mentioned, and gave me a very reasonable quote for all parts and labor (1650.00) for everything. Great price and he did most of the work within just a few hours, it was later in the day so he could not get the tires until morning but when he got them in at 9:00am he finished my truck by 10:30am.
