We went to Kendall's based on the recommendation of a neighbor. We had a long history with another shop, but they went out of business, so we gave Kendall's a try. We have taken our 2013 Subaru to Kendall's to have various things fixed and maintained. Mike and his team are honest, they won't fix it unless your vehicle needs it. Kendall Automotive provided great service. They repaired my car for one issue then another issue arises. They assessed the problem right away and ordered the part. The part had to come from Germany which meant a possible 4- 8 week for delivery. Mike kept me updated weekly and after 4 weeks of waiting he came with another solution. He was very concerned about me not having a vehicle for so long and having to rent a car. The second solution was tried which took a few days. Had a super last minute brake issue. This place was suggested to me so I gave them a call. The guy on the phone was super helpful and nice. He was able to have me come right in and drop my car off within 30 minutes of our phone call. He had an estimate waiting for me when I arrived too which was extremely helpful. He even sent an update text of how it was going and what the issue was and how the price would be lower than expected! I was able to pick it up by 4:30 that day! This shop literally kept me from having a nervous breakdown this past week. I had "noises" from the year end of my Suzuki that another shop did not diagnose. The problem with this timing was that I ABSOLUTELY needed my car back on the Monday after I dropped it off. I had to transport an ill dog to Mill Valley for surgery and the truck my sister so graciously lent me for the weekend was too high for me to get her in and out, before and AFTER gut surgery. I do NOT know how they managed to get it done by the time I had to leave but they did and saved me from going into meltdown. Just had a timing belt repair on my 2003 Volvo with 137k miles. Mike, the owner, was very professional and friendly when explaining the job. Vehicle was promised to me in essentially 2 days and it was completed on time. Car runs well and while only have a few miles on it since the visit, I anticipate no issues. Should that change will update my review. Price was reasonable compared to other shops in the area and I am very pleased with the car and the work completed on it. Excellent service from everyone here at Kendall Automotive! I was very very pleased. I first called to make sure they did AC Recharge. Just from that phone call, I was very happy. I didn't make any other phone calls to check pricing on this service, but I have heard great things about this place and decided to bring in my car the next day. I dropped off the car first thing in the morning and was in and out there. Fast and friendly. Always a good thing. Normally I would have been able to pick up my car the same day, however they check for leaks and it looks like I had a leak! So they had to order a part but by lunch time the next day my car was ready to be picked up. Again I was in and out of there. The service guys even showed me the old part that they took out of the car and showed me what was leaking. Who does that these days? No one does! The only reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars is because of the pricing. They are a little higher price than other mechanics. But the quality is there. read more
