Great new fusion place with friendly service! We ordered the Golden Chicken Burrito and the flavors were amazing. The co-owner asked us if it was our first time and we said yes so he explained to us the sauces they had. One was a sweet chili and the other was their housemade sauce. Both were really good and I didn't expect the sweet chili to work as well with the burrito as it did. The marinated chicken was super flavorful and well balanced with all the other ingredients. It also came with a bag of chips. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough chicken in our burrito. But they even cut the burrito in half because we only ordered one and they figured we were sharing, which was very thoughtful of them. The little touches to the experience made it even better! Delicious! I didn't know what to expect since it's like a Mexican restaurant but the meat is cooked with afghan spices as well as the sauces they use. I got the nachos and they were so good. I really like that they ask you how spicy you want it. The portions are super generous I got the medium size and couldn't even finish it all. They also get extra points for having so many different flavors of Jarritos. I can't wait to go back. I will say the parking is not great in the area, even though we got lucky since we went late at night. Came here with a group of my friends and the food was extremely delicious and the service was lovely. You can tell the workers take pride in their work and they're kind and quick! The chicken burrito is absolutely amazing! It's huge, filled with meat that's juicy and flavorful, and is filled with all of the other items you normally find in a burrito. Not sure how they marinate the chicken but it's more moist and alive with flavor than the chicken one gets in a more conventional burrito. The closest I can compare it to is a chicken tikka masala. The outside of the burrito is slightly grilled. I think it's the best burrito I ever had. My friend, who has very discerning tastes, got the chicken rice bowl and also loved his order. I have to admit the name "Afghan Burrito" made me doubt the place as I don't normally associate burritos with Afghan food. But I'm glad my curiosity won over my doubts and I tried the place. The food is very flavorful (sauce is everything) and balanced. I've tried both the bowl and burrito multiple times. Every bite is delicious because of the sauce and spread of ingredients. At other restaurants, I usually get served burritos that are bland or salty, disproportionate and only have rice, meat and beans with a tiny portion of guac or pico on one side of the burrito.
