My husband was a patient of Dr. Kane earlier this year. We had gone to other doctor's to try to figure out what was going on and we finally found Dr. Kane to be so knowledgable and thorough. The price I discussed with the dermatologist for laser treatment was different from the amount I was later given in writing, which left me confused about what the actual cost would be. I was also unexpectedly charged a higher copay for what I understood to be a basic office visit. What disappointed me most is that I had enough confidence in this practice to recommend it to people close to me. I had planned on doing laser treatments alongside my mom and my partner, but after this experience, I think we'll be looking elsewhere. The service itself felt pretty basic, and the communication around pricing and billing wasn't what I expected. Transparency and consistency are important when patients are making decisions about treatments, and unfortunately that wasn't my experience here. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and improves communication for future patients.

I didn't realize they had a little parking lot so I parked on the street and walked around until it was time to go inside. Please keep in mind to get to the entrance it is a fair amount of stairs, I am unsure if there is there an elevator or not. The office doesn't open until 9 but I was booked for 9 am and knew I had to come in a little early to sign the medical documents. The very kind receptionist was happy to see me at 8:50 am and helped me to sign the documents. She kindly brought me water while I waited for the esthetician to be ready. My consultation with the esthetician made me feel cared about as she took in my skin concerns and products I use. Sometimes during this process at other spas, one can feel judgement for their personal routine but she was so kind and genuinely wanted to make sure I had a good routine. She had excellent techniques and my skin was so clean and hydrated. She did give me extractions that I was nervous about but I know I needed it, she had the perfect touch to my skin as she was trying to make it as painless as possible for me. At the end she gave me some recommendations for my future skincare and I hope to see her again soon so she can reassess my skin again. Overall I had a great experience and would love to book again.
