Surprise charges of $8,000 and 45 min late to each session. Transparency goes a long way. There are better options.

Manager "manplained" Botox to me and didn't listen to a thing I was saying. Now medical doctors having to get involved due to eye issues this has caused. Serious concerns with safe technique here and accountability. They've essentially deformed my face and I feel like I cannot be in public and meeting with clients. It looks absolutely awful. I paid $1200 for this. An update that they've almost made an apology, but it is a "sorry but we're just going to keep gaslighting you".

Dr. Reinke is wonderful! I've been dealing with acne for ...hmm 15 something years and what I…read morereally appreciate about her is that after taking my history she doesn't start with the same treatment over again like many other dermatologists do when you are a new patient. If it didn't work back then, why would prescribe it again!? She gives you many options with a clear plan in sight. She so sweet and has great energy when you talk with her. I will say on the first visit she is busy typing out your history but subsequent visit she definitely makes it more personal. I like the fact that you can get an appointment within a week; this is something new to me since most dermatologists take at least a few months to see. She gave me some great recommendations to other colleagues who will do more of the cosmetic aspect of derma...awesome!

Along with expertise in her field she has the personal qualities I look for in a physician -- great communication skills, great listening skills, a physician who is non-dismissive of my concerns, and is knowledgeable. She inspired confidence in me, which is not easy to do! I consider myself a "high maintenance patient" who reads up on the Internet, (something doctors in general are not fond of) openly express feelings such as fear about my medical concerns, and prepare written questions before appointments. Dr. Reinke was undaunted! I think she is a true asset to our medical community. I should also add that she has well-established professional relationships with UCSF Dermatology, and can refer to additional specialists there when needed.

I had been to Greenbrae Dermatology in the past, seeing a wonderful female MD. It was some time…read moreago, so I cannot recall her name. I'd also been to the office 8 months ago to treat a minor skin issue with a PA and had no issues with the treatment, staff was great. Today, I paid $300 to consult about a potential laser treatment (cash, no insurance accepted for consult). The $300 would be applied to the treatment. Ok, I never had a bad experience with this office in the past, what could go wrong. The PA walks into the room and has another male with him. He stands to the side. The PA doesn't introduce him, nor does he ask for my consent to have him in our appointment. I looked at the male and he said "I'm a medical student". Again, the PA didn't give me a choice or ask for my consent to have this medical student in our appointment. This is standard practice in the medical field. Whatever. This $300 appointment lasts 6-7 minutes and I am diagnosed with Rosacea. I've been receiving dermatology treatments my entire adult life and have never been diagnosed with Rosacea, so I was understandably surprised at this new diagnosis. I asked a few follow up questions, and the PA stated, "You are allowed to disagree with me". I told him I was not disagreeing with him, but I was simply confused about this dx and had questions. He mention flushing on my cheeks. I do not have flushing on my cheeks. He recommended Ivermectin 1%, but didn't prescribe it until I later asked him to. He recommended Fraxel, which is overkill (and at least double the price) for what I was requesting (a few hyperpigmentation spots) and I told him I thought that might not be right for me, given what I know about Fraxel and again asked about laser treatment. He recommended IPL, "but that it would not resurface my skin", which I do not need, nor did I bring this up as a concern. The appointment abruptly ended and I was walked to a scheduler to book these treatments. The scheduler consulted with a price list, but couldn't tell me what areas of my face were covered for the price she was quoting me, nor how many treatments might be necessary. The scheduler left her desk to consult with the PA and then came back with her answer. I asked about the Ivermetic RX. She left her desk and again consulted with the PA, who walked over to state he would call it in. This was such an odd and uncomfortable experience that after some thought, I didn't feel comfortable returning to see this provider. I called to *cancel* the scheduled laser treatment or perhaps reschedule with a different provider. I managed to get someone on the phone, spoke to them briefly and was put on hold for about 16 minutes. I ended hanging up as, their site encouraged texting to communicate with the office, which I did and am waiting for a response. I'm not asking for a refund for the visit (although based on my experience, I don't think it would be unreasonable), but for a $300 credit to use for products they sell in their office. I think that's fair. Or bill my insurance for the visit, since the only thing I was walked away from that visit was an inexplicable dx of Rosacea (???) If Greenbrae Dermatology is reading this review, please call me or respond to my text. EDIT: I received a response and Greenbrae Dermatology will refund the $300 consultation fee.

The office doesn't open until 9 but I was booked for 9 am and knew I had to come in a little early to sign the medical documents. The very kind receptionist was happy to see me at 8:50 am and helped me to sign the documents. She kindly brought me water while I waited for the esthetician to be ready. My consultation with the esthetician made me feel cared about as she took in my skin concerns and products I use. Sometimes during this process at other spas, one can feel judgement for their personal routine but she was so kind and genuinely wanted to make sure I had a good routine. She had excellent techniques and my skin was so clean and hydrated. She did give me extractions that I was nervous about but I know I needed it, she had the perfect touch to my skin as she was trying to make it as painless as possible for me. At the end she gave me some recommendations for my future skincare and I hope to see her again soon so she can reassess my skin again. Overall I had a great experience and would love to book again.

I developed some blood clots and substantial pain in my arm. Without me feeling a thing, he opened it up and repaired it all. This past few weeks, I had a swollen lymph node beneath my ear drained in a local hospital - a simple procedure - and apparently the doctor punctured a vein and it swelled to three times the size it was when I came in. For two weeks I was in agony as it continued to swell while the hospital staff said "nothing we can do. It will heal eventually." This after CT scans, MRI's, everything. The swelling pressed on my ear canal, my jaw, and I looked like Quasimodo. I went to Keith Denkler in excruciating pain. In 30 minutes he drained 13 cc's of dark blood and relieved the pain - I hardly felt anything as he did it. The next day he drained another 13 cc's - and over the weekend, the massive swelling in my jaw continued to shring to 1/4 of the original side. He did it all with little or no discomfort. I've been able to work, sleep and avoid pain meds - none of which was true for over two agonizing weeks. This is a doctor who cares who knows, and should be teaching the others how to do this work. Common sense is genius in blue jeans. Keith Denkler has it all.
