I can't say enough good things about the care I receive here. Carol and Noel are very skilled nurses that are sensitive to concerns and knowledgable about all things skin related. The whole office is very trustworthy. I moved to the peninsula years ago and still make the 1 1/2 drive to see them. They don't only handle aesthetics. I have brought my husband in for mole removal and my 4 year old son for wart removal on his foot. The quality of care provided here is rare. I can't recommend this place more. What disappointed me most is that I had enough confidence in this practice to recommend it to people close to me. I had planned on doing laser treatments alongside my mom and my partner, but after this experience, I think we'll be looking elsewhere. The service itself felt pretty basic, and the communication around pricing and billing wasn't what I expected. She listened intently to my concerns (it was my first time for all treatments), provided fantastic treatment and then followed up me afterwards to make sure all was well. My husband was a patient of Dr. Kane earlier this year. We had gone to other doctor's to try to figure out what was going on and we finally found Dr. Kane to be so knowledgable and thorough. What disappointed me most was the response from the front desk. When I explained my concerns, the lead staff member dismissively said, "This is healthcare," with no empathy and no attempt to help find a reasonable solution. Mistakes happen, but how a practice responds to them matters. Patients should not have to pay for a second visit to correct an error that wasn't their fault.
