I hate leaving bad reviews, but after my interaction with the two girls working last night, I felt I had no choice. My sisters and I arrived around 8:30 pm. We were in a good mood, laughing and trying to decide what we wanted. Since we weren't sure yet, we started by asking for two samples. From the beginning, the girls seemed like they didn't want to help us. Because we were still deciding, we politely let a few customers go ahead of us in line while we figured it out. Once we were finally ready to order, the girls still seemed very annoyed. They kept looking us up and down in a way that felt uncomfortable, almost as if our presence was bothering them. Customer service makes a big difference in the experience, and unfortunately this interaction made us feel unwelcome. I hope management can address this so other customers don't have a similar experience. read more

Always love to stop by here for a sweet treat. The staff are younger (college kids I'm assuming). They are friendly and don't rush you when you're asking about flavors and samples. The parking lot is decent sized, store is small but has enough sitting for a small groups. Very modern and they also sell merchandise. They have unique flavors, and colorful ice cream that will make a lot of kids excited. My go to favorites are the Thai Tea, Milk & Cereal and the Biscoff. They offer an assortment of toppings, flavors and different ways to enjoy your ice cream, whether in a cup, waffle cone, in a milky bun or even a root beer float. A lot of possibilities. read more

So I came here for the notorious FAMOUS Milky bun ! Last time I visited this location the were very nice but unfortunately they said they were sold out of milky buns ... but no worries right ?! Terrible customer service tonight ,I asked for two scoops the bottom scoop was scraped from the bottom of a empty carton and it barely provided an entire scoop The other scoop was melted before it was in the cup I told him and he said that's all he can do I asked him to make another one and he told me that's what it is tonight and to have a goodnight. Open till late the best place to get a late night snack! Snack is quick and nice and it's in a chill area very close to the school.

I've been here multiple times and the employees always act like you're inconveniencing them for making them do their job, even when the entire store is empty and they're doing nothing but sitting in the back. They close their only bathroom and say it's for Employees Only which is pretty ridiculous lmao. I think they also like saying they can't do certain things (milky buns, milkshakes, etc) but really they're just lazy to do them if it's "too late" so they'll lie and say the machine isn't working. I was rushed during my visit here at San Bernardino Afters ice cream. The light was not even on when arriving here so it was very hard to find. I came at 10pm and was not greeted. When trying to figure out what flavor to get the young lady let us know that they were closing soon (in one hour) and they were only offering scoops of ice cream. I wanted an ice cream sandwich but they weren't offering that so I asked for a sample of ice cream and they said they were not sampling right now because they are closing soon. Slid thru after watching a show at CSUSB. The staff was really friendly and offered us samples since there were a lot of flavors that we couldn't decide between. They made great suggestions and created a really fun environment, which we really appreciated. We ended up ordering a couple of the double scoops. One was a combo of the jasmine milk tea and the milk and cereal, topped with fruity pebbles; and the other was a combo of the dark matter brownie batter and the Thai tea. There wasn't seating inside, but there was a seating area just outside where we enjoyed our ice cream. My girlfriend really enjoyed the accurate jasmine milk tea flavor, and she loved the milk and cereal as well! The dark matter was a really decadent flavor, but the Thai tea complimented it so it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Highly recommend this spot! I got a double scoop of ice cream for $7.95 and $1.00 extra for the cake cone. It was some good size scoops and they offer toppings. I love Afters! The prices could be better but Its been nothing but good ice cream and good service. Except for one experience. I got a strawberry flavor and it tasted as though it had gotten chemicals sprayed in it. I let my girlfriend try it and she said it tasted like chemicals too. My bf and I went to get some ice cream and online hours said they were opened but the store actually opened at 1. That's whatever we didn't really care, but costumer service has to improve. We have been to this location many times and most of the time we have a great time. But my bf orders a shake and something felt off about it, it was all gooey it looked like nut. Just so Yk it was an Oreo shake and it didn't even look like it as we inspected it. I took it up and asked if it was the right shake or maybe if the milk was expired. It was a perfect amount of ice cream with a good topping! The flavors themselves were sooo delicious. The jasmine milk tea is so creamy and floral tasting. Finally visited the location close to home! I got a two scoop in a waffle cone and my husband got the milky bun. Both were equally delicious on their own. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they will flip your cone over into a cup. This way I was able to add mochi (my personal favorite topping) to my cone! I also highly suggest the waffle cone because it was so buttery and delicious, it just melts in your mouth! The serving size was generous for ice cream and toppings, which I loved. They have so many unique and fun flavors that we will definitely be back soon for more. Another great thing is that they offer sample tastes! Not worth the cost. It's $8 for a pint of ice cream, but only if they already have the flavor you want packaged. If they have to "scoop it" into a pint for you then it's $10. Of course the ones we got were not prepackaged. Makes me wonder if they have ANY ready to go, or if they just say they don't and charge $10/ea instead of $8.00. Mint chocolate chip is my favorite ice cream but the one from AFTERS reminded me of mouthwash at the first bite. Mint was initially very strong. Don't think I'll be back.
