I dropped it on June 30th and had a 7 to 10 day window of drop off. It is now July 16th. On July 14th my husband called to see what the situation was and when to expect the delivery. He was told by Dave that "no one wants to pick up your car" which was confusing at the time as they are an AUTO TRANSPORT COMPANY, but a statement that now seems pretty clear as they don't pay out people who transport for them, based on reviews I have now seen. I have resorted to calling Allied and having them ATTEMPT to get a hold of these two as I have paid in full, have no idea where my car is, if it has even moved locations, if it is still even known where it is or when, if ever, it will get here. Right at this moment it seems like my car has been stolen and I have been duped out of quite a lot of money, much more than other companies were charging. My advice so far is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, that is if you care at all about receiving your car or even knowing where it is. However, something that is very underrated is the service industry and reviewing companies based on the services they provide. For this company, Cross Country provided my family some of the best top quality help in regards of long distance transportation of goods and furniture that I could not help but leave something positive to say about these guys. They are truly a gem in the moving industry and we have nothing but good things to say about them. From the very first day they arrived to our office location they seemed to display great mannerism and attention to detail. The movers walked around and scoped out the different parts of the building just to see what would be the best plan of attack to begin the move. They communicated constantly with their supervisor and he gave them advice and instructed them where to set up the equipment to still allow room to move around and carry large pieces of furniture. They took out all of the tables and chairs first to leave more room to move around in, two guys stayed by the trucks and stacked all the seats up on top of each other for them to take up less space. The entire process took about three days to clean everything inside and another three or four business days to receive all the things after they were shipped. It felt kind of fun opening up all of the boxes and unwrapping everything, it felt like we were getting new stuff even though it was all of our old stuff just put into boxes and neatly organized. Great service provided by these guys and we could not be happier with the result of our move.
