I've been seeing Dr. Lin ever since she set up practice in Montrose. She has done cleanings, fixed cavities, capped teeth, did a root canal, and even some implants (I've had my dental issues let's just say). Her grade? (I'm a former teacher): A+! She is professional, informative, friendly, and attentive ("Are you OK? Are you comfortable?"). I had one pricing dispute - not her fault - and it was resolved immediately. And her receptionist/assistant Amber is amazing - I consider her a friend - always enjoy our banter especially when she is assisting Dr. Lin when 'm getting work done. We have to stop sometimes because of the laughing. What can I say, I actually look forward to my visits. I recommend Montrose Smiles with enthusiasm. Go even if you have perfect teeth. read more

I have gone to Dr. Gonzales since I was a teenager, and was very sad to hear he was taking a step back from his business, but completely understand he wanted to focus more on family. He introduced me to the doctor who would be taking over for him and she was nice and friendly, and everything seemed fine. The next time I saw Dr. Lin she was doing my usual cleaning and mentioned my fillings, (unfortunately as a child I enjoyed sugar and not brushing my teeth, so I paid the price) and how I should consider changing all of the metal ones to ceramic. I had never heard any of that from Dr. Gonzales in the many many years I had been going to him. So I asked what the purpose of that was, and she mentioned that the metal fillings could have mercury in them, and they won't last forever. Then proceeded to suggest we got quadrant by quadrant and replace each and every filling with ceramic. I unfortunately have quite a few fillings, and a couple of them I remember being very painful to fill, so to have to replace them bothered me. To be honest it felt like she was looking to get extra money for an unnecessary procedure. I didn't go back to her after that. (I also went to another dentist and asked him about the fillings, and his response? "I don't like to drill just to drill, if they start to hurt or become a problem we can work on them, but there's no real reason to change them out anytime soon.") Dr. Gonzales also happened to be the dentist for my entire family, so my parents, sister and grandfather went to him. My Dad had an appointment with Dr. Lin, and instead of calling to give him a heads up that he was going out of his coverage, and that if he would just wait a month his visit would be covered, she let him come and pay hundreds out of pocket. I really really loved seeing Dr. Gonzales, and enjoyed his staff, but this new doctor feels like she's money hungry. Our whole family has found new dentists because of the way we feel we've been treated. Our wallets are more important than our dental health. read more

We picked this dentist because the office is close to where we live and I thought we would try it... so glad we did. Dr. lin is great and my two kids love her. The staff is also great, and although they don't specialize in kids, we take ours to them because my boys love the staff- so much so, that after my littlest one's first appointment he was asking when he gets to go back.
