Oh hey, I found a great spot to submit to the show "Tabatha Take Over"! They say its more about the journey than the destination and how more true it can be in my journey here. I bought a Groupon for a gel mani-pedi, $26.I call if anything available Jan15 for my bday before I purchased and luckily they did. Made appt. for 10am. I'm greeted by the owner Sabatino. I tell him I have an appt. for 10am. "Alexandra Medina? Great, please sit" I wait for almost 10min. A woman pops up "Can I help you?" Yes, I would love to communicate again what you can help me with. "I have an appt at 10 for gel mani-pani". *looks at computer w/moronic look on her face* "Are you sure you have the right salon?" "I bought a Groupon do you want me to show you?" I wait for another 6min., praying she is not the one to do my nails... can't have your birthday cake and eat it too so she (Rosa)tells me to pick a color from a limited section rather than a much bigger section on the other side of the wall, literally down my neck while I chose, so much as to stretch her arm in front of my view to turn around a polish. I sit in the most run down "spa" chairs I've ever seen. She starts the water and w/o asking how it felt for me, starts to get too hot and I let her know. She puts nothing in this water. A customer sits next to me, gets to pick from the more bigger selection (she has gel too) w/o her technician down her neck, oh, and she was asked if the water was okay. Rosa's cell was going off the entire duration of my pedicure. From personal calls to customers. She then goes on a 15min tyrant talking to the customer next to me in spanish, literally bad mouthing Groupon customers. From what I gathered of unprofessional rant, that customer purchased a Groupon for same deal I got, but walked in expecting to have a slot available,and that this is a constant problem happening. What pissed me off more is that the woman did not say a word! I even turned to her,giving the look of "are you really going to let her passive aggressively shit on you+I have to listen to it too,when I was smart/considerate enough to call before I purchased my deal?!?!" Synopsis: she was saying clients come 1st(not Groupon customers) and that "I don't purchase things online, I like to see what I'm buying" HA aren't you better at life. My massage for my feet/legs were complete BS. Very abrasive when directing me, awful attitude,cleaning the pumice block after she used it on me in my VERY LUXURIOUS SPA WATER.The only positive thing was she her time in painting my nails. I then get passed off to another woman(forgot her name),same BS of her cell going off the entire time, taking personal and customer calls. I got absolutely no massage on my hands/arms (I've gotten plenty of gel mani and I always got them). The only reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because my destination, what I was mentioning earlier, my nails did look good. Hell no I would never come back and only recommend if you don't care about the journey. Round of applause to this salon for starting off my birthday feeling like a princess :)) read more

Carol is the girl in the front desk and she is super helpful also Brenda did my nail and she was really professional. The renovations look extremely sleek, modern, and beautiful! Alexandra is extremely hospitable and kind with her french humor. I had my hair trimmed and balyage done by Zayra for the first time and she did a phenomenal job, my favorite hair job ever done! I always get highlights done that end up too thick and unnatural, but Zayra did such an amazing job I had to post a review. Every girl needs a pedi, right? I know I do!!! I know I constantly blame my poor 7 month old about having hairy legs and crusty toes....but it's so true! I need a time to get away and actually have some ME time....so I did this today! I usually go to BLOW for my nails, toes and eyebrows! I have the best nail technician in the world and I want the whole world to know...well, the whole YELP world! Her name is MAY! She is amazing. A true artist. A Little Patience Goes a Long Way: I received a Groupon gift from my boyfriend for this place. It was for a gel manicure and a pedicure. When I walked in for my 1pm appt the lady at the desk said she was having lunch and to give them a little time. I waited about 20 minutes and after some confusion with potential language barriers and miscommunication amongst the staff it was my turn. I am sure whoever gets a Groupon customer is expecting the pickiest customer for the smallest return. I am so glad I met Barbara. She took her time with my "regular" pedicure and cleaned and landscaped parts of my toe nails I didn't know I had. I sat there in the best massage chair I've ever experienced. Seriously folks, if anything get a pedicure to experience their chairs. (I may or may not have fallen asleep during the pedicure experience) After my perfect pedicure was complete, Barbara took me to get my gel manicure which is beyond perfect for New Years. In short, be kind to others and someone will be kind to you. Be patient and watch that given back to you. I will be returning again as a full paying client and with the same exquisite service, I will continue coming and give reccomendations. Where most people would throw their arms in the air because they are not taken in 2 minutes like expected and getting snippy and judgemental due to circumstances beyond their control, I sat back and waited. Where many estheticians may get frustrated by the notion they won't get anything from a Groupon customer, she was handsomely rewarded for her immaculate work. Guido was my hairdresser and did an excellent job... the color and bounce to my hair is fantastic.... everyone in the shop was so nice... offer you coffee, water or a glass of wine..... I asked the price over the phone and was ok with price quoted for what I wanted BUT. When I went to pay it was double.... so take lots of money if you want your hair done at this place.... Learned a valuable lesson.... don't call.... go in and ask how much to do this or that first! read more

Horrible service, bought a Groupon and went to do my nails, they did a terrible job. Lady who did my nails was on her phone the whole time, I found it very disrespectful. Also they only allowed me to choose a nail polish from a very small section and they had very few choices of color; extremely disappointing. Yet in the other side of the wall they had a huge selection of color but I was not allowed to choose from those because they said it belong to another lady...it's extremely odd I've never been to a salon were you can't just choose whichever color you like. I had gel manicure done they didn't even last a week they just came off, again just a terrible job. Never again! Don't waste your money not even on their Groupon not worth it! You're better off spending a bit more and getting it done right somewhere else than throwing your money in bad service bad quality. read more

Guido Spacagna has been my stylist at Sabatino's Hair Salon for some time now, and I couldn't be happier with the professional, yet personal, service I receive from him. He's very knowledgeable about haircare and has brought my hair back from the mess that it was, to locks I'm now proud of! He's a caring and sincere person with a great personality, who listens to your concerns and doesn't hesitate to make suggestions to help your hair look amazing. Very unprofessional. Terrible customer service. I confirmed my appointment at 6pm the day before my scheduled appointment, and the receptionist gave away my appointment to another customer the day of my appointment. I am a nurse and was working, unable to pick up her calls the morning of my appointment. They then decided to give my already confirmed appointment to another customer because I could not answer their calls. When I finally was able to speak to them the receptionist gave me a very big attitude and was scolding me for not answering her calls. read more

I cannot say enough about Sabatino. I was a resident of Miramar and have relocated to Parkland. We drive every Saturday to get my motherinlaw's hair done. This is because Sabatino and his staff are such wonderful people. My mother in law is 93 and they are so gentle and attentive. Being of Italian background, it is so nice to be greated with a big Buon giorno. Sabino makes my mother in law not only look great but feel loved. I won't bring her any where else. read more

I needed to get my hair done for prom so I decided to come here. As soon as I arrived, Guido got started on my hair right away. I showed him a picture of the hairstyle I wanted, and he was able to take my picture and add his own twist to it. In the end, my hair came out AMAZING!!! It was exactly what I wanted and I was out of the salon in less than an hour! I got tons of compliments and my updo and curls held up for the whole night and even the day after. So I got tired of chasing my stylist around town and just in time for a haircut I heard about Sabatino. I called and quickly made an appointment. I arrived the next day and was attended immediately by Sabatino. Sabatino is learning English, but speaks Italian and Spanish fluently. I was very happy with the cut and the conversation. I have been a customer for a few years now, but I feel that recently they've gone down hill. Sabintino has friends working for him that are not qualified or licensed to do the services. The young girl that assist with odds and ends is not people friendly. My last appointment a week ago will be my last one. He ruined my hair, it's all dried and falling out. If you are wanting a service and your hair is not in shape for it. He should advise you of it being the professional. Now I look like hell. This was my first time here and my last. All of the tools were dirty, the towels have a million holes in them, they left my nails with hair inside. They didn't even scrub my feet for a pedicure. Worst manicure and pedicure I've ever gotten. And the customer service is even worse. read more

i bought a groupon for this salon for manicure pedicure. i dont know the name of my manicurist but she did a horrible job. She was continously on the phone and doing my nails. One hand my nails are round and another hand she cut them a little more and put them in Square shaped and there was nothing left to cut to make them round. Used to love coming here for cuts and blow outs but my highlights were horribly done when i was there last (late summer). Some highlights were thin, others thick, other sections completely missed. For the money I paid, will never return. I've spent more trying to get it corrected. read more

I went back in Sept of 2015 - I asked for a Merlot/burgundy and got black/burgundy. "You can see it in the sun" he said. Really? I don't intend on walking around in the sun just so you can see my hair color. The price was ridiculous high for not getting what I really wanted. I hadn't gotten around to review my experience until now because I wasn't familiar with this site. I can't remember the stylists name but all he talked about was his time in Italy and NY and all the famous ppl he had worked on. Honestly I think since I can only visit salons on Monday's, I'm limited to what salons I can go to. The least experienced are probably the ones working on Mondays..lucky me. read more
