I had several issues with how my AC was installed by another party. During a Yelp search, I found Agape and took a chance. Jose came out and explained that my attic air handler and the ducts weren't braced to the rafters of the house, the return air intake was poorly positioned, and several ducts should have had dampers. What a difference...Agape did a wonderful job replacing poorly installed ducts, added dampers for rooms that were blasted with air when the AC was on, and repositioned our AC return air intake so the unit can be easier to service in the future. I will definitely use Agape for all future AC needs! read more

Jose, the owner saved me on this day, no joke. With the temperature being over 110 degrees, I really needed someone to come help fix my outside ac unit asap. Apparently, the unit had stopped spinning. The night before, I had called another company called Price Air Heating and Air Conditioning located in Anaheim, and a man by the name of Freddy sabotaged the wires to the Capacitor by cutting them, burned the Capacitor with sparks flying everywhere, and even tried to charge me for a Start Kit totaling almost $800! I decided not to use him and waited the next day to find another company. On this next hot day when many other companies were overbooked including several that didn't even respond to me, Jose was the only one who actually gave me a quote on Yelp for a reasonable price. He was able to come out within a couple hours to help me as soon as he could even with his busy schedule. Jose was quick to notice that the wires to the Capacitor had been cut by the previous shady repairman and also determined that I did not need to replace the Start Kit, which Freddy, the shady repairmen tried to rip me off for! Jose simply replaced the Capacitor with new wires and bingo! My ac unit was up and running within 5 minutes of work. This is now my go-to company for all my ac and heating repair needs, and I'm so glad to have found Jose and appreciative of his upfront honesty, quickness, and reasonable price. In the end, companies that are morally ethnical and honest will prosper with referrals and repeat customers. When you have so many shady and unethical companies out there, it's hard to know who we can really trust. But Jose is the real deal. read more

José and Andrew came to fix my ac unit. I had another company come out on Wednesday and they were charging me $2000 to fix it. He said we would start by fixing 2 items and see If it even would work. He highly recommends we buying a new one. The owner called and wanted me to get approved over the phone. José and Andrew got it up and running for $180. They fixed the parts that were damaged by the other company. I don't understand why anyone would want to break down your air conditioner so they could sell you a new one. Shame on the. If I could give more stars I would. The blower on my AC failed. I called the original installer...no answer. I called a couple other installers...no answer...or rude...or not able to see me. I understand, it was a weekend and a hot one. I called Agape and got Jose. He was in the area so he said he could swing by to diagnose the issue. He quickly diagnosed the issue and even let me know my unit was still under warranty for be parts. He got the warranty parts for me and all I paid was labor. He was extremely flexible with my time, he kept me informed every step of the way. The job was done quick and right. Jose is the best. My wife calls Jose whenever her company needed their system serviced. Jose has also already been over at our home for a check up on our unit a couple of years back. After last summer's issue with our A/C at home losing refrigerant even after the company who installed our system had supposedly fixed and added more refrigerant, we decided to have Jose take a look. As he has been during the checkup on our unit, Jose was very thorough and persistently located and fixed the leak, refilled with the most reasonably priced and correct refrigerant and also made sure that it was noted on the unit for future reference. My AC decided to go out on the hottest most scorching weekend ever. Desperate to get it fixed I searched ac companies on Yelp. I came across Agape and decided to go with them, not because of reviews but because of their name. I called, explained what happened and they were out that same afternoon. The diagnosis was a bad circut board. I was advised that a new can be ordered but considering it was a Friday they could possibly order on Sat if not Monday for sure. I was to get a phone call confirming on Saturday the outcome. I paid the fee for them to come out that was told that it would be incorporated into my charge for the board. Ok cool. Saturday rolls around... Sunday... Monday afternoon I end up calling and leaving a message to ask the hell is going on. So with no response on Tuesday i get in touch with another company. Wednesday Agape decides to show up. No warning call that they are on their way, no call period. My husband pretty much told them to kick rocks, we had 10 min before the other company was about to arrive and we got no confirmation of any kind from Agape. I understand your a business working the busiest season. Knowing this, a quick check in, phone call, text, voicemail, a freaking smoke signal just letting us know that you were still working on it or waiting for an already ordered part to arrive would've sufficed.
