Excuse me if this review is long, but there are things I feel must be said. My father had 2 nurses visiting him every week for approximately one year. His primary nurse Susan and hygienic nurse Mei. I not only appreciate them for their friendly and professional care, and compassion, the way they interacted with my father returned some dignity that got lost ever since he became very ill. Doctors and nurses at other establishments stopped speaking directly to my father even though his hearing and mind are all there, and they turn to me for all questions and answers. They gave me all the forms and went through our meetings in an almost mechanical manner as if my father wasn't there. It is not their fault, but it broke my heart and felt my dad was slowly robbed of his dignity around medical professionals due to the illness itself. Agape was different from the rest. Susan and Mei both made conversations with my father like familiar friends, asked him questions, and when he was able, had him sign forms. If he can do it himself, why not do it? They built trust and confidence in my father, and he looked forward to their visits every week. Words cannot describe how much I appreciate the staff of Agape Home Health. Thank you!!

She had a nurse coming to follow up with her and was on IV treatment at the beginning. She received therapy and was supposed to apply for her DME, walker and shower chair who never arrived. We waited 4 months and nothing. Nurse wouldn't know and that home health will follow up. I never received any single call. We obtain a prescription from mom's PCP after tireless waiting and got it in the same day at a pharmacy. After few months while we were at work, the nurse was still coming once a week and will constantly received all the organic veggies that my mom gave her. We have a garden and is her life and part of her daily routine for years. We didn't know about this until mom will complain to us that she is tired and that the nurse doesn't do much but talk to her about personal life and complained that she didn't have good stuff to eat and wouldn't cook. Seems more like taking advantage of her generosity! We understand the care for patient, but It's not professional from a nurse to receive gifts from her patients, even if the patients insist. Especially from seniors that have other disorders. I reported this to Jessica the administrator and apologized, but sent us another nurse who didn't have her stethoscope, blood pressure cuff or glucose check. Our family is very disappointed with the unprofessional services received by the nurses and the DME that we never got with their help. We will not recommend this home health to friends or family.

3rd and Final Update 8.3.26:…read more - Definitive update - Received a personal call once I posted my review accompanied by factual receipts - As of this writing, matter was addressed and is resolved - SuperCare team is technically always pleasant to speak with, while the processes in place are a big question mark that I don't have faith in - All was solved thanks to the aforementioned call from 'Kim' - Kim quickly assessed the situation (though that seemed like a manual process for her, which speaks volumes that SuperCare processes aren't exactly main streamed even for employees) - Nevertheless, Kim made next steps clear. They were before, just with bad results. This time around, everything worked out - Kim followed up, made sure everything was taken care of, all while being incredibly courteous, polite, approachable and helpful I think 3 stars is still generous for SuperCare BUT I technically have what I need after jumping through unconventional hoops. I do have other colleagues that went through something similar-but-not-as-bad-as-my-experience and in the end, we all have the required equipment. Good luck to everyone trying to get to this point. At least the equipment is sterile, new, in good working order, etc. 5 stars to Kim. Without her due diligence, I was fully prepared to find other options. SuperCare is lucky to have her. As the patient I had to call and call and call. If you need supplies it takes almost two weeks. I highly recommend Lindcare Oxygen Supply who I was with previously for years. Lincare will call you to make sure you are taken care of. They even check your equipment and supplies often. Lincare in San Diego is well setup with supplies and will deliver almost same day. This company takes over two weeks to get a humidifier tank delivered. I wish my insurance would realize the huge difference in level of care from Lindcare to Supercare. I DO NOT recommend Supercare. If you read my other reviews and there is alot. I almost never give a negative review so bad as this. So head the WARNING! They delivered my portable oxygenator and in showing me how to turn it on the equipment it did not work. Again they had to replace the equipment days later. Roll forward and my oxygen dropped I went to turn on my home oxygenator and it did not work. Apparently this company does not even care to test the equipment. Much less bother to check the equipment upon delivery or set it up for you.. After posting I read other reviews and over time nothing has changed or been corrected. Appalled at the lack of care to the patient/customer.

I live 60 miles away from my friend and could not take care of her needs. I was also her POA. I had no idea who to call. I googled Senior care in her area and Amada came up with a few others. I called and within 3 hours I had an excellent caregiver at my friend's home to assess her and begin caring for her. Took the worry away from me. ReAnne, the owner helped me with everything. She scheduled all the caregivers my friend needed. She needed 24 hour care from the beginning until she passed a month later. As sad and hard as it was, they did a wonderful job and were compassionate people. My friend was well taken care of. There were 3 or 4 different caregivers and all of them were very nice and did everything they could. My friend had to be re-admitted 2 times to the hospital. They took care of getting the ambulances and staying with her until she was either released or admitted. Ameda has access to all other fields needed for someone with home care. Medical people, physical therapy, whatever your person needs. Although my friend passed, Ameda Senior Care took good care of her. I would absolutely recommend and use them again.
