Tiffany's Board & Care did what no other care facility did prior, treated our Aunt Rosie like family. Previous facilities could not or would not care for our Aunt's growing health needs beyond basic accommodations, which led us to Tiffany's Board & Care. From the moment we met the owners, the staff constantly kept us informed of our Aunt's condition. During the COVID pandemic, we were comforted with the knowledge that their wonderful team would surpass state guidelines and protocols to ensure the safety of our Aunt. Arline and Stan moved into Tiffany's Board and Care around 2007. Lynn, in their hour of need, brought them to Whitley after a problem elsewhere. Over the years the house took such good care of them. There were always presents at birthdays and Christmas. Sadly Stan died about seven years ago, Lynn was so dignified and loving at his passing. On not even special occasions, Arline was treated to the food she loved- Mexican food, cheeseburgers and french fries. The house has always gone above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and happy. The care has been wonderful and I know Arline felt safe there. With Covid 19, I had not been able to visit with Arline of late. Lynn with her inner sense sent for me a couple of days before Arline died so we could have our last visits. I just want to say that my father has had the best care from Tiffany board and care one. It was difficult for me as his daughter to give up caring for him but it was the right decision my family and myself made for him. My father had been suffering from Parkinson's disease for six years and no longer could walk. We brought my father Octavio B. Guzmán here back in December of 2016 . I could not have asked for a better group of caring loving people to take the best care of him. The staff is caring and up beat. It truly feels like a home and a family. The staff especially Teresa was amazing with our father. She truly takes caring for the elderly people to heart. It takes a very special person to have that gift and they are lucky to have her as part of their staff. Tiffany thank you so much for being on top of any questions or concerns we might of had about my fathers care you were truly on top of things and got back with us in a timely manner. My father's Parkinson's disease had now put him in such a decline. Lynn you're the heart of Tiffany board and care one. You are amazing I cannot begin to tell you as my father's daughter how I will never forget how you truly helped us through this difficult final weeks of my father's life. You held our families hands through the process of him finally leaving this earth and going to heaven in such a way that you made it easy for all of us to let him go. My mom was at the Whitley location at Tiffany's Board & Care. At the time we placed her there she was having hallucinations. I thought we didn't have much time left with my Mom. Lynn saved my mom and brought her back to us! Lynn and Tiffany have been a Godsend for our family. She was moved to the Randall and has thrived. She was 84lbs and now weighs 99 lbs. The love & care from Lydia & Mandy has been amazing in my moms present state. The socialization & structured routine has been beneficial in her well being. My father-in-law [Bill] spent his last few YEARS at Tiffany's. The family decided that he needed full-time support that we no longer were able to provide for him. He "graduated" at age 97 in 2016. We feel that he was very well cared for during those years at Tiffany's for the following ten reasons: 1. Lynn is a nurse and is deeply involved in managing and training the staff. She has extensive experience in managing patients with various types of dementia. She is also kind and caring. She does the hiring and firing and also manages the important business aspects. Her intimate involvement in the business is the key to the success of this business. 2. Every person on staff is well trained and responsible. Over many years, I only had a couple small issues. These were immediately resolved. All the staff are personable and friendly. Owners or staff transport the patients to medical appointments when in-home care is not available, i.e. to the eye doctor. They always provided me a full report on Bill's medical conditions and discussed treatment options. This was huge help, and unexpected. 3. CLEAN. The home was always clean and smelled fresh. I've been in quite a few other "continuing care" facilities that were the opposite. Staff bathed and dressed the patients every day and told us promptly if we needed to get Bill additional clothing. Demented patients can be combative. One staffer needed stitches after being bit by a patient. Everyone took this in stride - no big deal. I was greatly impressed. 4. Staff prepares all the meds, holds them in a locked cabinet and supervises their delivery. This is a huge task and was well managed. 5. One of the staffers doubles as the cook. The patients were treated to very good, nutritious meals 3x/day. They even got special treats when it was someone's birthday. 6. The doors and gates were kept locked so that the patients wouldn't wander off. Bill's dementia got so bad he didn't even know what town he was in, so this management system was vitally important. The temperature is regulated by law in California to 78F year round. Except for a day or two when the A/C unit needed repair, it was comfy there. Blankets were available if needed. 7. Care was tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Bill was slow to feed himself until the last year or so, but he was allowed the dignity of doing so as long as he could, for one example. He would pick at a sore because he couldn't remember not to. Staff patiently re-dressed the wound. Again, impressive service. They coordinated with Rose Hills when that time came. 8. The staff was always happy and upbeat. I have learned that that indicates a group of workers who are well managed and appropriately compensated, thus there was very little turnover during the many years Bill was there. Even small changes are upsetting to dementia patients, so this was an important parameter. 9. They go out of their way to encourage visitors. Some patients had family come in every day. Staff would move chairs or the patient to accommodate them. I was allowed to mute the TV during me visits because Bill was stone deaf. That was helpful. 10. The business aspects appeared to me to be very well run. This means the pharmaceuticals were delivered on-time, food was purchased, laundry machines were replaced as they wore out. They also had established relationships with home care health providers that we switched to. Home health care individuals who I mentioned didn't do a very good job were replaced. Lynn or Tiffany [another owner] handled that personally so I didn't have to. In summary, I recommend Tiffany's without reservation. I was so happy with all the owners and staffers that I have kept in touch with them and will ask them to send a trained couple out to our new home on the East Coast when I or my wife need that level of care. read more

I had a loved one stay at this facility and Tiffany was amazing. She was very kind, compassionate, and very attentive to my loved one and even answered all of my questions. Tiffany and her staff did an outstanding job taking care of the two most precious people in my life, my Mom and Dad. My Dad came to stay at Tiffany's in November of 2011. They took care of him and loved him as if he was their father. Actually to be honest, they spoiled him. He deserved to be spoiled he was the best dad anyone could have so to have him taken care of in such a loving, kind and caring way meant everything to myself and my brothers. In January of 2013 my mother joined him there and they made sure they were in the same room together. My mother had a small stroke prior to going there and broke a hip. They were wonderful to her, and she was not easy to deal with at times, but again they took care of her with such kindness. She passed away in March of 2013 and my Dad in November of the same year. I have continued to be involved with Tiffany's with my singing group, coming every Christmas. The staff has a huge party for all the residents and their family. It's such a wonderful time.
