Early for our 1600 Valentines Day Chef's Tasting Menu.
    Michael D.

Valentines Day 2026 was another delightful meal at Agape for the Chef's Tasting Menu. This year we chose the quaint inside for dinner. Our bread course started us each with either a delicious Brioche or Focaccia paired with a different compound butter. 1st Course, Each of us enjoyed the Grilled Asparagus on Sourdough, topped with fried egg, Prosciutto, micro greens and chili oil. 2nd Course, We could not believe the size of the Rootbeer Braised Venison Sheppards Pie...Wow! 3rd Course, Cynthia had the Pork Cheek with 4 Cheese Grits and Pork Gravy, I had perfect medium rare Manhattan Strip with Heirloom Carrots and carrot puree. Cynthias Dessert was a White Chocolate dome filled with Peaches and mine was a raspberry filled cookie topped with champagne pearls. My Blood Orange Margarita and Cynthias Pensacolada made for a nice start to our Valentines Day experience. Highly recommended!

Tried a few items from the July menu- I try to come Atleast once a month - our server Chris was good and we had a lovely birthday experience- the whole staff was so friendly- makes us feel at home always. Beautiful gem of a place.

Food was phenomenal, service was impeccable, and vibes are intimate. It's a quaint little restaurant with limited seating/parking, but it became packed immediately-and we saw why. I had the escargot, Gulf Scamp Cervantes, and smashed strawberry cheesecake. All 10/10.

As usual, Agapi exceeded expectations. Reservations at 7:30, we were seated very promptly! Our server was a bit busy to say the least but she handled it all well, as well as us. We ordered the charcuterie board, the escargot, the pork belly and the carpaccio. Everything was on point! The Agapi Margaritas were also excellent! Yes, we'll be back. Just another reminder of how few great restaurants we have here in Pensacola . I consider Agapi a great restaurant

Visiting Pensacola n on our last night there stumbled upon this restaurant n thought we'd try it. small hidden gem n has outdoor seating too. Friendly welcoming staff, We started off w seasonal soup which was a gumbo w okra andouille sausage tomato n corn . Was v flavorful n tasty. Shrimp bisque was good too n so were the watermelon poke n Cesar salad. The chargrilled octopus was so so good .the baguette/ focaccia was warm and came w nice butter. For entrees had the king crab moussakka. The first time I've had a seafood moussaka and was out of this world. I love love the regular moussaka w eggplant n this was beyond. The red snapper kleftiko was ok. The federlini w shrimp tasted good w mushrooms in a black truffle cream sauce. We ended our dinner w desert. Tough choice as so many good ones. We were like heck w it. Try one of each. We had lavender pavlova , crème brulee flight , baklava cheesecake n apple crumble skillet. All were delicious. Not a morsel left. Tx u for a great dinner.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of trying this place and wow, I ate. Sat at the bar with Chris, the bartender, who was super friendly and fun to chat with. I did the cocktail sampler, standout was the Med Mule, very much a new favorite. Interior felt very cozy, I came at about an hour and 15 minutes before close so it wasn't in any way overwhelming. Chris suggested the Greek totchos, and while it sounds wild, they're delicious, perfect if you like gyros and potatoes. The real star, though, was the Chef's blind tasting: a four-course meal completely curated on the fly for $70. Servers don't know what you'll get, but dietary preferences are respected. I had lamb shoulder, duck breast, wild hen étouffée, and a chocolate delice--easily one of the top three meals of my life. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and felt personal. Big shoutout to Chef Lawrence for walking me through it. I'll definitely be back, and nine times out of ten, I'm going blind tasting again.

This place is a gem!! Amazing service, exceptional food and great cocktails. The complimentary beignet bites with honey and cinnamon are delicious. Bottomless mimosas for me (many juice options) and hubby had yummy craft cocktails. We shared the avocado toast which was bursting with flavors. I had the shrimp, crab & Gruyère omelet and he had the Benedict three-way. Both were absolutely fabulous. We can't wait to return!!

Veal Milanese w fedelini, limoncello crème and charred broccoli. Seared Elk Tenderloin with whipped potatoes and haricot verts.

Agapi has quickly risen to my favorite Pensacola restaurant after just 2 visits. The food is amazing from an extensive menu and the service is solid and friendly. I took my daughter for the second visit and she loved everything.

Horribly oversized biscuits hiding poorly fried moist oysters.

I thought this was a well thought out review, but it somehow never made it on Google, explains the ratings they have. My gratitude goes out to the kitchen staff for saving me untold amounts of money going forward. It's a quiet bistro environment which is dirtier than desired but not so dirty as to leave. The floor is old and off putting for the ambience of an upscale establishment. The meal starts with some contraption of fried dough, which is described as beignet like, but has the density of a hush puppy instead. It's odd to detract points for free items, but had we not already placed a food order we would have just had a few drinks and left. The honey which encompasses these balls is sickeningly sweet with no balance of savory, umami, or spice to provide relief. Next we had the oyster slider for an appetizer. This dish was fundamentally flawed in execution but the idea behind the dish was sound. This is the type of dish which tells me the kitchen no longer eats their own food. The biscuit was too large for the oyster, so there was no singular scrumptious bite to be found. Instead it was a mouthful of moist bread with your tongue desperately searching for a textural bit to clasp. The oyster needed a thicker breading to hold up to the wet elements and those elements could have both been on the bottom allowing a more satisfying crunch to the overall dish. My wife ordered the lobster roll and fries. The fries were flaccid and pale, and if anyone is gone serve my wife flaccid and pale it's going to be me. She had to dress the fries with salt and pepper table side, which in "fine" dining is an atrocity. Salt is for the kitchen, not the table. The lobster roll itself was very generous with the portion of protein. For me it was a too dill forward but my wife found the seasoning appropriate. I ordered confit duck and waffles. I have no idea what I received. Confit duck should be falling off the bone with a stern look and such a flavor bomb I wag my tail upon devouring. This was a bland and tough duck leg, that I couldn't even finish. The waffle could be made at any Quality Inn breakfast included buffet around the country. Props for my egg being properly cooked and still runny in the middle. This was so underwhelming, all it did was cost a hundred bucks and build the bluster for farts later in the day. The mimosas were great but all mimosas are, just head to Calvert's, Scenic 90, or Aunt Katie's; it'll save you money and the food will be better.

We did the chefs tasting menu and it was fantastic! It was nice to be able to interact with and get each course described by the chef. The food was amazing and beautifully presented.

What a lovely restaurant! Perfect for a dinner date and dinner party with friends. The food and service were superb. The cocktail list was fantastic too. You can order cocktail flights to try different drinks.

Valentines Dinner @ Agapi was more than my husband & I anticipated. The service was by the Chef himself and a server Joann. It was planned for us to do the Chef's Blind Tasting Menu which has forever changed our tastebuds. Every dish the Chef brought out to us was fantastic, every dish ramping up our tastebuds for something never had but yet was around the corner in the kitchen. Our experience with Executive chef GUS SILIVOS and each dish he brought out to us, in confidence was yet our best experience in Pensacola. Can't wait for our next date @ Agapi. Thank You Agapi for making our Valentines Day Dinner Memorable

Five star brunch. Excellent service. Absolutely loved the breakfast tacos, the hummus with naan, the tiramisu martini was DIVINE. My friend ordered the lamb burger with Taziki and I would definitely get that next time! I so appreciated. You can sub out the side of potatoes for a side salad. Arugula with dates & apple cider vinaigrette. It tasted so FRESH. The waitress was so sweet. They didn't even rush us for coming so close to closing time. (At 2) i will definitely be back!

With somewhat dim lighting and a speakeasy's ambiance, The Burrow offers a great spot for just a drink or a full meal. For starters, check out their cocktail menu. Sure, they can make you your favorite drink, like a Manhattan or a basic Cosmo, but their featured drinks are outstanding. The Giving Tree is a smashing blend of pear & vodka, with a mint garnish, and it is seriously drinkable. The Burrow even offers CBD-infused cocktails for those that really want to take the edge off. The fare is beyond the standard bar & grille, though they do serve a fantastic burger. For appetizers, the Raclette Fries are a must-try with rich flavors that could captivate any palate, and bigger appetites can tackle the Pork Shank, served bone-in and topped with cabbage for that authentic German approach. If you want something lighter, then the Little Wedges (the only time I actually enjoy iceberg lettuce) could be a meal to many, topped with the usual bleu cheese & bacon crumbles - so good! Pricing is right on par with the value and the drinks themselves are simply outstanding. The bartender even made a previous 'seasonal' offering for my father-in-law, so you know the service is top-shelf. The space inside isn't huge, but the decor and layout is pretty well optimized. Great spot for any season, and with the biergarten space, you have plenty of options.

Where do I even begin?…read more We had our wedding at Garden & Grain this weekend and it was absolutely flawless. I have to start with the most important parts of our day which were Cara & Jadyn, our event coordinators and Nick & Jesse, our bartenders. Cara and Jadyn were literal earth-movers and magic makers. These two helped us get everything decorated and torn down with absolute ease (and we had an awful lot of decor we brought in.) By the time we moved into the ceremony, Jadyn was everywhere ensuring we started when we were ready, the guests were ready for us to enter, and just made us feel so at ease. We heard from so many guests that they didn't even realize the chairs got moved from the garden into the grainhouse between because it was so fast and flawlessly executed. These folks were so stealthy bringing 75 chairs between different spaces. Bravo. Our caterer was just arriving as we were about the walk the aisle. We had no idea the chaos that was ensuing behind the scenes that Jadyn and the team worked out as quickly as possible and without our guests even recognizing there was a delay in the start time of the food service. Obviously catering is a huge part of the day, and it would have been so stressful had we realized they were 30+ minutes behind. The execution of our wedding could not have happened flat out without these two wonderful people. We are so grateful for you both, Cara and Jadyn. You deserve all the praise in the world and are absolutely amazing event coordinators. Oh, and Jadyn, thanks for never letting us have a drink less than half full - your impeccable attention to detail is what every event coordinator should strive for. Now, the other critical aspect to a wedding is bar service. Nick and Jesse had those drinks flowing non stop all night. There was never a guest waiting in line or without a drink from before the ceremony to last moments. Our guests were complimenting all night on how amazing the bar service was. We are a family with one side from New Orleans, we know how to party and going into it with 2 bartenders for 75 people who know how to have a good time was an anxiety for us, but there was not a single mishap in the bar service and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our guests or us. Not to mention, every time I looked at Nick or Jesse, they were both smiling and so happy to be there with us - it meant a lot to feel like your vendors were a part of your wedding. The space lent itself so naturally to our ceremony and reception. It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and just 100% our vibe. Our guests also complimented all night on what a cool venue we had. If you're thinking about booking an event, particularly a wedding here, don't hesitate. There's not a dang thing I would change about Garden & Grain, Perfect Plain and the people they had assisting us and our guests throughout the event. Being able to look back and see how smoothly things ran is every Bride's dream, and without a doubt you will have the same experience that we did here. Thank you G & G/Perfect Plain/Perennial Hospitality for the amazing experience on our wedding date. You have no idea what this meant to us. It means even more to feel that you guys actually enjoyed being there with us. Pat yourselves on the back and know that you are shining examples of what a wedding venue is supposed to operate like. Cheers to you guys, thank you once again for everything!
